The murder of Jaw Kay is one of the oldest unsolved crimes to remain on Merseyside Police's cold case files.
Mr Kay's body was found in the flat above the laundry he ran at 44 Scotland Road - an property which has since been demolished.
The alarm was first raised when someone arrived at Mr Kay's laundry and found it locked, prompting a call to police.
