Aqua-Aston Hospitality, a leading hospitality management business headquartered in Honolulu since 1948, has announced the appointment of Bobbie Favela to the role of Vice President of Condominium Administration. Favela takes the reigns as longtime associate Ruth Okada retires from the role. In addition to its management of hotels and condominium resorts, Aqua-Aston Hospitality manages condominium associations throughout the Hawaiian Islands.
Favela brings 27 years of experience in Hawaii real estate to the position. Prior to joining Aqua-Aston, Favela was the Director of Management Services for Associa Hawaii where she led a team of managers and site staff while overseeing the company's portfolio of 75 community associations. She also previously worked as a Commercial Property Manager for Sofos Realty Corporation where she managed a portfolio of 21 commercial properties, including three that were association-owned. Over the course of her career, Favela has risen through the ranks at some of Hawaii's top property management companies, including Monarch Properties, Premier Realty 2000, and Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties. She holds a Professional Community Association Management (PCAM®) designation; is a Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA®), and has a Hawaii real estate license.
