Indonesia's National Narcotics Agency (BNN) has destroyed 794.62 kg of crystal meth, 19,675 ecstasy pills, and 22.33 kg of marijuana by using an incinerator. (ANTARA/Genta Tenri Mawangi)
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Indonesia's National Narcotics Agency (BNN) on Tuesday incinerated 794.62 kilograms (kg) of crystal meth, 19,675 ecstasy pills, and 22.33 kg of marijuana.
The destroyed drugs were seized from 23 suspected drug traffickers taken into arrest during a series of raids conducted by BNN officers from January to May this year.
The suspects were apprehended in Jakarta, Bagan Siapi-Api in Riau Province, and East Aceh in Aceh Province, among others, BNN Head Coms. Gen. Petrus Reinhard Golose stated.
