Thanks to its 627 hp (635 PS) 4.4-liter twin turbo V8 engine, weight savings, M xDrive all-wheel drive system, and Active M differential, the 2022 BMW M5 CS is Brabus Rocket 900-levels of quick. It needs just 2.9 seconds to hit 60 mph (96 kph) from a standstill, confirming our suspicions about this being BMW M’s first-ever sub-3-second car in terms of acceleration prowess. Its top speed, meanwhile, is rated at 189 mph (305 kph), whereas 0-124 mph (200 kph) takes 10.3 seconds.
