The BMA has asked the General Medical Council (GMC) to work with it to review the basis on which former GP and climate activist Sarah Benn found herself in front of a medical tribunal.1
Benn was suspended from the UK medical register for five months following a medical practitioners tribunal last month. She was referred to the tribunal service after spending 32 days in prison for breaching an injunction banning protests outside an oil terminal.2
