As we pass the one-year mark since the pandemic shut down the country, the local Blue Star Mothers (Massachusetts Chapter 1) recently held their first in-person meeting since the pandemic began on Wednesday, March 17.
The meeting was spent writing thank you cards to each of the more than 30 departments at the local VA hospital to express their gratitude to the frontline health care workers for their care of our veterans over the past year, since the onset of the pandemic.
