Blind River’s tourist information centre is getting some major upgrades.
The Town council voted to upgrade the centre at a cost of $250,000 at a virtual special meeting Monday evening.
Council has discussed the matter over several years and hired Tulloch Engineering to carry out a study as to what was needed.
The renovations include everything inside and out from hard services to windows, siding and roofing.
The upgrade is part of the asset management plan council has under review for 20 of its municipal buildings.
The renovations will be carried out by Tulloch Engineering for the 2021 season.
