Blackfeet Law Enforcement Services give update on Arden Pepion

Blackfeet Law Enforcement Services on Thursday morning provided a timeline and update on Arden Pepion, 3, who went missing on the Blackfeet Reservation on April 22.
Pepion was last seen in the surrounding areas of Joe Show East Road in Browning near the Two Medicine River.
The update came in response to growing calls for transparency in the investigation. Community members have expressed frustration, wondering why BLES didn't issue an AMBER alert for Arden and why the search effort was scaled back.
Officer Frank Goings said on Facebook Live that Arden had been missing between five and six hours before dispatch was contacted. He said Arden was last seen with her noncustodial uncle, and when contacted about the case, Blackfeet Law Enforcement Services (BLES) responded immediately.
