RAPID CITY, S.D. — On the surface, you wouldn’t think Black Hills Works would have much in common with 3D printing company B9 Creations, but they do now. They’ve entered into a partnership to help many of the people served by Black Hills Works.
Black Hills Works provides homes, employment, and social outlets for adults with disabilities. To make life easier and provide a level of independence, the organization reached out to 3D manufacturer B9 Creations. Through the partnership, B9 Creations will manufacture 3D printed assistive devices, such as grips for wheelchairs, waterproof call lights, and tools for use in the workplace.
