RAPID CITY, S.D. — Following a break from COVID, the annual Black Hills Senior Games are back in Rapid City.
The games are always a popular event hosted by Rapid City Parks and Recreation. It’s an opportunity for those over the age of 50 to get active and compete in basketball, golf, swimming, track, and even a bean bag toss.
“Everybody is coming out,” said parks and recs specialist, Lindsey Myers. “They will train all year just to, this is something they look forward to every year. A good way to get them out, active, having fun, being competitive, and just feeling young again .”
