RANCHI: Hundreds of farmers will take part in kisan sammelans across the state on Tuesday, opposition BJP said on Monday. The saffron party has decided to organise kisan sammelans in the five commissionaries to counter the ongoing stir against the new agrarian laws passed by the Centre.
Talking to media persons at the party office here on Monday, BJP general secretary (organisation) Aditya Sahu said that all three former chief ministers from the party — Babulal Marandi, Raghubar Das and Arjun Munda — will lead from the front to dispel false notions associated with the farm laws. While Marandi will campaign in the Santhal Pargana, Das will be in South Chotanagpur and Munda in Kolhan.
