The poll witnessed a straight fight between two candidates — Bhagi from NDTF and Aditya Narayan Misra, representing the Democratic United Teacher’s Alliance (D.U.T.A), a collection of about nine teacher’s organisations, who have joined forces this year to take down the NDTF.
