Malls in general are struggling – for those voices wanting raze it or feel the businesses are lame, what would you like to see? What do you think is needed? Turning it back to wetlands? How is that going to work financially? Previous occupants didn’t seem to last. At the very least, one less empty storefront, one more opportunity for someone to go to the mall for Comcast and do additional shopping.

Westwood Village is likely going to go the same direction that Northgate Mall is going, which is waaaay better than what is currently there, but that possibility is still a long way off. I would personally like to see Longfellow Creek uncovered and a nice plaza area put in.
