POET is a significant backer of an initiative on November ballot that would prevent new "slaughterhouses" in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The South Dakota Pork Producers and South Dakota Soybean Association say it's concerning that an ally in agriculture opposes the opportunity to expand capacity.
