Buffalo Bills cornerback Tre’Davious White knows Sam Darnold as good as any defensive player in the NFL after preparing for and facing him fives time during his three-year stint with the New York Jets.
On Tuesday, White appeared on The Cris Collinsworth Podcast and gave his thoughts on Darnold getting traded out of the AFC East to the Carolina Panthers, who received a sixth round pick in 2021 and a second and fourth in 2022. White said he isn’t sure what went wrong for Darnold in New York but he thinks the 23-year-old can sling it.
