The battle against COVID-19 has evolved into an information war: Where can you get a vaccine?; Are you eligible?; When is there an appointment? Knowing where to find the answers is equally valuable.
State-wide, the COVID vaccine rollout has been dogged with questions, and veterans are not immune to the confusion.
"We started at the beginning of January receiving information, but it was a word-of-mouth sort of thing at first," said Billerica Veterans Services Director Joseph Ruggiero. "The VA started sending out emails two weeks ago, and at first they were sporadic updates."
The Bedford facility is administering the Pfizer vaccine, provided in two doses.
