Bill could boost mass timber products in federal projects

A bipartisan bill introduced by Sen. Jim Risch, R-Idaho, and Sen. Jeff Merkley, D-Oregon would promote the use of mass timber in federal building projects and military construction. That could create jobs, reduce wildfire risk and promote forest health.
