bihar: Flood-like situation in many low-lying areas of Bihar after heavy rain

Torrential rain in Bihar has caused a flood-like situation in low-lying areas such as Araria, Purnea, and Madhepura. Patna, the state capital, received 53.45 mm of rainfall in the last 24 hours. The weather office has issued an alert for thunderstorms and rain in several districts. The Patna Municipal Corporation claimed that rainwater was drained quickly despite heavy rain.
