Bhima Koregaon case: Who is Rona Wilson and what does he want?

Researcher Rona Wilson, an accused in the Bhima Koregaon case of Pune which is also known as the Urban Naxal case, has approached the Bombay High Court seeking change in investigators. Wilson prays for the formation of a "Special Investigation Team consisting of experts in Digital Forensic Analysis presided over by a retired judge of the High Court or Supreme Court," to investigate the case.
Wilson also seeks release from jail while the court hears his plea and that proceedings in lower court should be stayed. Wilson's plea also seeks, "suitable monetary compensation, befitting the agony, harassment, violation of fundamental rights, defamation, loss to reputation, incarceration, inhuman treatment, suffered during this period."
