Assam opposition leader Debabrata Saikia has requested Governor Gulab Chand Kataria to order a judicial probe into the physical assault on state Congress president Bhupen Bora and the unruly behavior of alleged BJP cadres during the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. Saikia accused the state government under Himanta Biswa Sarma of creating administrative obstacles and unleashing lumpens to disrupt the peaceful yatra.
