$5 million settlement reached after Bexar County sheriff's deputies shot, killed 6-year-old boy

The family of Kameron Prescott, who was shot and killed by Bexar County Sheriff’s deputies in 2017, have reached a $5 million settlement in a civil lawsuit against the county.
Under terms of the settlement, Prescott’s parents, Christopher and Rubi, will receive $4.5 million. Rene Jones, whose daughter, Amanda Jones, also was shot and killed by deputies during the same incident, will receive $500,000.
