nothing screams summer more than cooking outdoors and getting that perfect char. My name is Nicole Papantoniou from the Good Housekeeping Institute. Today I'm gonna show you three different types of grills to make it quick, easy and fuss free to learn more about the products. I'm about to show you open your camera up and touch the screen to scan the QR code at any time in the Good Housekeeping kitchen appliances lab, we've tested more than 50 grills over the years, including 18 new ones this year alone, we test for even heating how well they can see your steak and how good they are preventing flare ups and even smoking if you're shopping for a grill, there are too many styles to consider. You have your gas grills and your charcoal grills, but maybe you'll even want a Comotto style gas grills are a popular option. They turn out with the push of a button and they're easy to control the temperature. They also heat up pretty quickly. This gas grill performed very well in our test. It's Weber's newest smart grill where it has three burners and a side burner and it comes with two built in temperature probes that can be used to track the internal temperatures of food so they cook perfectly every time. It also connects to an app, which makes it very easy in our test, it hated bread the most evenly. And it also steered a really great steak with really nice char marks on the outside in a really juicy center. If you're more of a grilling purist and really like the flavor of barbecue, Maybe a charcoal grill is right for you. They require more hands on prep time and they take a longer time to heat up and cool down compared to a gas grill, but the flavor is really worth it. This model is a classic kettle style, the one we recommend has a really great ash clean ashtray that's enclosed and also comes with a hinge so you can hang the lid during testing and cooking. The best part is they're usually under $200. This third type of girl is a Comotto style grill. It's an upgrade from your typical charcoal grill. It has thick ceramic walls which retain heat very well and can also reach very high temperatures. It's really good for quick Sears and things like pizza, but also really good for cooking low and slow. So think about your ribs and brisket to learn more about these grills and other great choices. Go to Good Housekeeping dot com now let's enjoy some delicious barbecue.
