ROCHESTER — A Maine man and his passenger are facing a slew of charges after a police pursuit in downtown Rochester ended with a crash and a foot chase, according to police.
The driver, Benjamin Ball, 25, of Shapleigh, Maine, was arrested and charged with three counts of reckless conduct with a deadly weapon for nearly causing several motor vehicle accidents during the incident, conduct after an accident, disobeying an officer, felon in possession of a dangerous weapon, three counts of possession of controlled drugs/narcotics, transporting drugs, criminal mischief, resisting arrest/detention and fugitive from justice.
Ball is wanted in Oxford, Maine, police said.
