Bengaluru airport to be first in India to phase out gadgets-in-tray security check system

 Kempegowda International Airport’s T2 to begin passenger trials of CTX machines, integrated with Automatic Tray Retrieval System and full-body scanners, by December. Though other airports, like Delhi’s IGIA, have conducted trials of CTX machines, Bengaluru will be the first one to integrate CTX machines with ATRS and full-body scanners.
