The emergency service said, in a social media post, that it feared it had been caused by an attempt to take cabling and a lightning conductor.
In a tweet, the team said: "Disappointing to find damage caused to our VHF Aerial overnight.
"Looks like they were attempting to remove the cables and lightning conductor from the roof.
"Totally unacceptable behaviour and could have left us with limited comms."
