BEDCO launches MSMEs Virtual EXPO

MASERU – Basotho
Enterprise Development Corporation (BEDCO), launched the 2020 Micro, Small, and
Medium Enterprises (MSMES) virtual EXPO with the usual aim of developing and
growing Basotho enterprises.
Speaking at the virtual
launch, BEDCO Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Idia Penane said the corporation has been
charged with a mandate to establish, develop, and grow Basotho Enterprises. She
said to better position itself towards fulfillment of this mandate, BEDCO
commenced a project funded by the African Development Bank (AfDB) in 2019. She
added that this project engaged with several stakeholders whose feedback
necessitated them to re-look at the way in which they deliver services and
