Beast review: Idris Elba fights a lion in a short, effective creature feature

In yet another riff on Jaws, Beast sets a family headed by Idris Elba on a collision course with a killer lion, in a taut 93-minute thriller that pairs well with the new Predator movie Prey. In theaters Aug. 19.
