A boom in new houses and home renovations have helped profits soar at listed lighting retailer Beacon Lighting, sending the $450 million merchantâs shares towards all-time highs.
In a note to the ASX on Thursday morning the seller of lamps, fans and globes told investors its pandemic-boosted sales growth had continued into the second half of the financial year, prompting the company to hike its full-year profit forecast.
Beacon Lighting CEO Glen Robinson is bullish on the companyâs growth prospects.
