Beachwood Launches Free Delivery Service For Local Restaurants

The city is hiring independent contractors to fulfill orders. The job has been posted on the city's website and applications are now being accepted.
This is a first-of-its-kind program and should launch in days, Beachwood officials said. The program will remain in place for at least a month.
"Rather than relying on legislation to cap delivery fees, our City has removed the middleman by becoming the middleman," said Mayor Martin Horwitz. "It's another example of how our outstanding City services have elevated Beachwood to one of the premier suburbs in Ohio, while protecting a vital segment of our small-business community."
