Beachfront hotel, closed since Hurricane Harvey, reopens

The old Holiday Inn along Whitecap Beach on North Padre Island, which has been closed since Hurricane Harvey badly damaged it in August 2017, reopened last weekend as Island Resort with a beachfront bar and restaurant that will soon be open to the public.
