The crowds have largely dispersed now but earlier today there were Tens Of Thousands of people who turned up on the streets of the capital to take part in the demonstration. You could see a sea of Palestinian Flags and people holding placards and banners saying things like, Ceasefire Now and hands off lebanon. As the march took place, people were holding these large megaphones chanting things like stop the bombing, stop it now. There were people from all sorts of backgrounds, people of different ages who took part in the march. We saw babies in prams, elderly people, people from different parts of the country coming to call for an immediate ceasefire in gaza. And an end to the Deepening Conflict in the Middle East. I spoke to one woman who said she had Family Members who had been killed in gaza. People felt helplessness at the escalating conflict in the Middle East. The march started two miles from here in Russell Square and it took about 40 minutes to get here at whitehall where there are a number of Government buildings. People gave speeches, including the former labour leaderjeremy corbyn, among other people who gave speeches. There were british palestinians and british lebanese voices who are giving speeches. There have been a large Police Presence throughout the day while the march is taking place, you could hear helicopters above and hundreds of officers were on the ground policing the march. As we were saying through the day to day, through the afternoon, we have seen more israeli Air Strikes on different parts of the capital. It is darker now and when we get into the overnight and early hours into the morning, you get these new idf warnings buildings and areas in the southern suburbs and people who live here. I can speak to that as well. At the moment you see and hear overnight often very intense strikes right in the heart of the capital. What is everyDay Life like in lebanon .
