With the idf said a little earlier today was that it would be localised, and limited and targeted, but i think that depends what they are trying to achieve, in terms of their overall strategic aim. They have said that they have only come just a short way over the border, that they are targeting things like hezbollah infrastructure, the tunnels they have got actually donated to the Border Area there, but if they want to try and move further north, if they want to try and clear that whole Buffer Zone that resolution 1701 should have given them, that was basically something that came in after the end of the war in 2006, it was supposed to keep hezbollah away from the border with israel, but over the years, it has not done thatjob. If israel wants to try and really put that in place and clear that Buffer Zone, that will be a bigger, more complicated and more risky operation than The One they have launched and dont forget, of course, as well, youve got those Civilians Ability civilians in of way of all of this as well, many of them displaced. Now, for the rest of this week, the good news is High Pressure will continue to build in. Thatll bring some very much needed drier and sunnier weather, though nights will turn chillier again with some Mist And Fog. High pressure already starting to topple into northern and western areas as we head into wednesday, but weve still got the influence of that area of low pressure across the far South East. So more of a north easterly breeze here, a bit more cloud at times, a few showers, mainly for East Anglia and the far South East. But elsewhere, after a chilly start with early Mist And Fog, well see a good deal of sunshine around. That breeze will be noticeable across england and wales, but certainly across the South East corner, but lighter for scotland and Northern Ireland. Temperature wise, not bad, close to where we should be for the time of year around the Mid Teens in the north, mid to high teens across the south. As we head through wednesday night, we hold on to this breeze, with further showers across East Anglia and the South East.
