People start leaving his rallies early out of exhaustion and boredom. But soon they got on to issues such as immigration, a key concern for voters and One that could be a strength for the former president , though he chose to focus on unsubstantiated claims about migrants eating peoples pets. In springfield, theyre eating the dogs. The people that came in, theyre eating the cats. Theyre eating. The Vice President could scarcely contain herself. Of the people that live there. Moderators attempted to fact check the former president on several occasions during the debate. Abc news did reach out to the City Manager there. Before a word was even spoken, we saw her cross to his side of the stage to shake her hand, a Gesture Showing she would not be intimidated. She succeeded in talking about herself, her values, succeeded in talking about herself, hervalues, her succeeded in talking about herself, her values, her policies and on the other hand that she was a very effective in pushing Donald Trumps well known buttons. Having him erupt on issues regarding his Election Loss and not being able to accept that. His many Court Cases that he is facing, and even the size of his rallies. Again, today, Donald Trump says he believes he got a great deal and has accused the moderators of being against him, assign that he feels it did not go too well for him as well, and on the other hand moments after the debate, Kamala Harris s called for a second One i got the ultimate endorsement from the Pop Star Taylor swift. What did we learn about both trump and harris actual polices during this debate . Look, the economy was the first issue to be raised. We saw Donald Trump defending imposing tariffs saying he thought it was a way to help the economy. Harris on the other hand suggested it would amount to a Sales Tax on americans. She said she wanted to put forward an Opportunity Economy where she helped small businesses with Tax Deductions and help with Childcare Tax credits and help with Childcare Tax credits and also talked about affordable housing plans. A man who was found guilty of murder in 1991 has had his conviction quashed. Judges at the Court Of Appeal ruled oliver Campbells Conviction for the murder of Baldev Hoondle in hackney was unsafe. Our home editor, mark easton, joins us now. Mark, tell us more. The first thing to say this is not One of those cases about an innocent man been stitched up by the criminal Justice System in the Court Of Appeal made it clear they gave very little weight and dismissed suggestions that the police deliberately misled and bullied Mr Campbell in order to obtain a false confession. However, they did quash the conviction on what they describe as a narrow but very important basis. Mr campbell suffered severe Brain Damage is an eight month old baby and continues to struggle with Memory And Concentration and with retaining information. And what the Court Of Appeal is saying is there has been fresh scientific evidence which shows that somebody with such a Mental Impairment would potentially have meant the jury considering the reliability of that confession in a materially different context. And the judges also, confession in a materially different context. And thejudges also, it should be noted, declined to order a retrial on the basis that Mr Campbell has already served a decade in prison and could not get a fair trial because of his serious handicap. Trial because of his serious Handicap Trial because of his serious handicap. Figures published this Morning Show the Uk Economy failed to grow injuly. Analysts had expected slight growth, but the Office For National Statistics said output in the Production And Construction sectors fell. The chancellor, rachel reeves, says shes under no illusion about the scale of the challenge the country is facing. Our chief Economics Correspondent Dharshini david has more. From the euros to wimbledon, the summer of sport lifted some spirits and sales of Food And Drink while boosting leisure activities. But across the economy there was zero growth injuly, so little you cant see it. Amidst a disappointing month for manufacturing and construction. And challenges remain elsewhere, these footballers are struggling to meet their goals off the pitch. To be able to afford football and like the nicer social things, i have to cut costs other places. Food prices went up insanely during Covid And Theyve never come back down again. All the taxes and everything. I feel like maybe they could be directed to people that are more well off because,. You know, were struggling already as it is. Helen runs their league and a sports retailer. Shes noticed customers are also struggling. Youve got the same products they had last year, but its at a higher Price Point and people have less mOney. It really is that simple. So its difficult on the small business owner. But weve still come a long way from last years recession. However, look further back and the uk has underperformed. The chancellor claims that families could each be £5,000 better off if our economy had grown at the same rate as other major countries over the last decade. Hello there. Rachel reeves says well reap the rewards of improving future performance, but that wont come in time for next months budget. Ive been really clear that the budget on the 30th Of October will require difficult decisions on tax, on spending and on welfare. But the prize if we can bring stability back to our economy, we can bring investment back to britain. Is economic growth good jobs, paying decent wages in all parts of our country to realise the huge potential that we have. From the other side of the political pitch, the shadow chancellor, jeremy hunt, claims his government left the uk as the fastest growing major economy this year. Both admit boosting investment is the key to raising our Growth Game permanently, but that is tricky to tackle and may need some deft manoeuvres. Dharshini joins us now from our london newsroom. What impact might this have on the budget next month . That is the £22 billion question because that is the ties of the so called Black Hole The Chancellor claims to have to meet her own rules, and part of that is down to decisions made by the previous government and partly down to her choices over public Sector Pay but it does not matter who is to blame, when you have less growth its harder to get the tax in to fill the hole and thats why you hear talk of different decisions and some are saying that the government is talking the economy down and might seize on the backdrop to push through some of those decisions that some politicians have site shied away from before. Youve seen the decision about the Winter Fuel payments and some i ask if the likes of Fuel Duty is next in the frame, but in the longer term, the key to making sure we dont have to pay more of our income in taxes to find the answer to how we grow the economy faster permanently but as previous governments found, there is no quick fix on that One. This Mornings Gdp figures come after the government won a vote in Parliament Yesterday to scrap the Winter Fuel payment for millions of pensiOners. Lets speak to our political correspondent Helen Catt in westminster. Helen, this is an issue that is not going away for the Prime Minister. Even at todays pmqs he was under fire . No, it isnt, and the government comfortably won the Vote Yesterday but it does not mean that many Labour Mps are comfortable about the decision, and we know that Trade Unions certainly arent. They are gathering in brighton this morning, the Tuc Voting overwhelmingly to express opposition, but the decision to withdraw it from most pensiOners has now been made, so in a way the political battle is starting to move on to who takes the blame and we saw a bit of that play out at Prime Ministers questions with Rishi Sunak trying to suggest that the government needs to own any possible fallout for individual pensiOners. Mr speaker, Yesterday Labour mps voted mr speaker, Yesterday Labour mps voted to mr speaker, Yesterday Labour mps voted to remove the Winter Fuel payment voted to remove the Winter Fuel payment from over 10 Million british pensiOners. The government is introducing a new bill to try to protect renters in england from no Fault Evictions when landlords evict tenants without a reason. The renters Rights Bill will also bring an end to mid Tenancy Rent hikes and prevent landlords from refusing those on benefits or with children. Our cost of living correspondent, coletta smith, reports. Oh, that Ones been on before. Thats gOne up. Over the last couple of years, ive spoken to so many tenants whove been evicted through no fault of their own, from bolton to london. So theres about 30 people there in total between these two building sites. And people are begging, begging to live there. And from reading. So right now, mj and i are in a bedroom on the floor. To north yorkshire. Might have had to end up moving back in with my parents, maybe. The plans to ban no Fault Evictions were first introduced 18 months ago, but after pressure from landlords were delayed and delayed. In that time, record numbers of tenants were evicted, like Stacey And Gavin and their children in halifax. How did you feel when you got that letter . Um, shocked. And ijust phOned my auntie and cried. I didnt know what to do. I didnt know how to tell him. I thought, i cant tell him when hes at work. Hes going to be absolutely gutted. Yeah, it was horrible. And for the kids, i guess, you know, at different ages they understand different amounts or it impacts them differently. Sometimes you just need to breathe. And when theres so much going on and your heads going west and your kids are asking you all these questions and you cant answer them. Sorry. Dont be sorry. You have to just say, like, just give me a minute. Ijust need a minute. Today, the new government is introducing a law which they want enforced by the summer, banning no Fault Evictions, but still allowing landlords to evict tenants who dont pay or are anti social. They will have robust grounds for possession in cases where it is legitimate. But were going to end arbitrary evictions and were going to put in place better protections for renters, including the growing number of older people who rent privately against unreasonable within Tenancy Rent hikes. The bill will also allow tenants the right to have a pet, prevent bans on tenants with children or those on benefits, and extend Awaabs Law to the private rented sector. That means forcing landlords to fix issues like damp and mould within a time limit. Bidding wars will also be banned so Agents Cant accept bids above the published price, which is common practice at the moment. Sometimes you just have to probably offer more or offer to pay upfront or something just to get it. But landlords say prices will stay high unless there are more properties available. We are already in the middle of a Supply And Demand crisis. What this Bill Wont do is it wont solve some of those problems. It wont build new social housing. It wont bring forward incentives to grow the private rented sector. And there will be some landlords that look at this and think, maybe, maybe its time to move on. Despite those concerns, the new Law Cant come soon enough for tenants. Coletta smith, Bbc News. For Months President Zelensky Has said the ukrainians must be given permission to use these american made and british made long range missiles so they can hit into russia and take out airfields and also some of the planes that have been dropping bombs all across this country. Until now the americans have been reluctant to do that, other western allies as well with the fear of escalation and what President Putin could do in response. Today we heard from moscow and people saying there within the government that they would destroy american rockets if there is this kind of change in policy and these american workers are being brought into ukraine and then used to hit sites in russia itself. We are told that there will be Meetings Today with president zelensky and the thinking is this will be fed back to President Biden and the prime Minister Keir Starmer and they will meet on friday and we may well get an updated policy at that point. The bbc has been given rare access to a Treatment Centre for mpox in the democratic republic of congo, which is at the centre of an outbreak affecting countries across the world. Health workers in South Kivu say theyre desperate, with infections rising, supplies running low and no information about when they will get vaccines. Our africa correspondent, simijolaoso reports. As the number of infections rise, the age of the patients gets younger. Little murhula is the youngest Mpox Case at lwiros community hospital, at only four weeks old. Its an agonising ordeal for first time mother, faraja. Translation its sad to see my first born suffering from this strange disease. I have a lot of pain in my heart. Its a very bad and dangerous disease. The cries of babies are resounding here. Many are malnourished. As babies pass on the disease to their parents, Theres Fear of a new wave of infections. This is the first time many here have encountered mpox. I just saw the child get sick. I didnt even know the name of the disease. We Cant Sit and wait for the children and even adults to die. Bring on the vaccines. Just over three weeks ago, this hospital was used to treat all sorts of diseases and conditions. And they used to get around 80 patients a month. But the outbreak got so bad here, they had to convert it into an mpox only Treatment Centre. And within three weeks theyve had nearly 200 patients. Remaining motivated is difficult for nurses like emmanuel, whos worked here for four years. Every day he fears catching and Passing Mpox on to his own children, who are only seven, five and One. Its a sentiment shared by his colleague. Translation you will see that the patients i are sleeping on the floor. Theres still no staff motivation. Personal protective equipment, there isnt enough of it. We try to do what we can to look after the sick and not to put ourselves at risk either. This region of the Dr Congo has experienced a battle of control over its mineral rich land for nearly 30 years. The government says its doing its best to get medics what they need, and the vaccines are coming, but the conflict is making things harder. Translation because of war, we have over 5 Million people who are displaced. The disease can be controlled by good sanitation and good living conditions. Now that people are in camps, the spread will be dangerous. The dedication of the staff at this mpox Treatment Centre has ensured there have been no deaths here. They vowed to keep showing up, despite the bleakness of what lies ahead. Simijolaoso, Bbc News, South Kivu. A multimillion Pound Grant to help tata Steel Transition to greener production at its Port Talbot Site in south wales has just been announced by the government. The changes would lead to the loss of up to 2,800 jobs. Our Wales Correspondent Hywel Griffith is at Port Talbot what more do we know about this announcement . It has been made within the last hour, £500 million from the government is a grant towards the building of a new electric arc furnace. It is almost exactly a year ago since the deal was first mooted between tata and the then conservative government and essentially means the end of these big Blast Furnaces behind me, the old coal fired technology which omits far more carbon into the air but essentially supports thousands more jobs. But essentially supports thousands morejobs. So the but essentially supports thousands more jobs. So the closure of those furnaces with a second cousin later in the month will mean a total of 2800 jobs going for the Tata Workforce in the uk, most of the jobs here in Port Talbot. So many of these workers will have foreseen it coming but according to the general secretary of the gmb it is still a very sobering day for the workers. Welcome the fact that labour has adopted the plans from the Trade Unions regarding training but to be under no illusion, this is a huge impact for the Port Talbot Community And Steel production in the uk and thousands ofjobs are going to go. The community is going to be hollowed out. And we are going to see reductions in emissions in the uk, carbon emissions, but at what price . A new statue to commemorate Queen Elizabeth ii has received a mixed reception from some visitors to antrim castle gardens. The sculpture by the belfast artist, anto brennan, was unveiled last weekend, but has recieved Criticism Online as our Ireland Correspondent Chris Page explains. The local council says it has been warmly received by most who have seen it in person. It is a Work Of Art which is attracting plenty of cameras, and comments. A Bronze Statue of the late queen has been unveiled in antrim castle gardens. Joining a statue of her husband which was already here. People are pondering their perspectives. I dont think its a true representation. Does It Matter that its not a true representation . Yeah, i think so, when you look at something like that you need to realise who it is. And that is just not so obvious. Without all the Press Hype in the last few days, i think you would have walked past that statue not realising it was Queen Elizabeth. I think it does bear a slight resemblance. I mean, i think it could be a better resemblance if you know what i mean. I like to see her with her headscarf and that on, i think it looks very natural. The local council commissiOned the statue. When it posted pictures online, there was strong criticism on Social Media. But that has drawn visitors to gaze upon the sculptures with their own eyes. I think its fabulous. I think the council should be congratulated on the initiative. My first reaction was the stance of prince philip. You know, the way he is standing. That isjust how i perceive him. Excellent, and to have the corgis there as well is fantastic. Many more people will surely come here now to see the statues for themselves. And while there will be lots of different reactions to this depiction of royalty, One thing is already clear, this has dOne what art is supposed to do, got people talking. Chris page, Bbc News, antrim. A reminder of our top headline this afternoon. A fiery us president ial debate as Donald Trump and Kamala Harris exchange personal insults and debate the economy, abortion and immigration. And still to come. Well take a look at the new Stem Cell Donation centre which could transform treatment for Blood Cancer and Blood Disorder patients. We ll have a full forecast in the next half hour, but its time now for a quick look at the weather. Heres darren. That is why it is cold at the moment and this is the temperature with the blue area showing where it is colder than normal as it is across many parts of europe. But as we head into the weekend, the position of the Jet Stream changes and i will have more detail later on but there is a glimmer of hope lets get more on our top story the president Ial Tv Debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. Political disagreements and personal insults were at the centre of the 90 Minute Event in philadelphia, correspondent, marianna spring, has been looking at the reaction online. Lots of americans will have heard about what happened in this debate on their Social Media feeds. Posts from the campaigns are starting to dominate our own feeds but what is happening online is feeding into what is happening in the campaigns and it has been a pretty Catty Affair in the online and the real world. Let me tell you why. I will start with this Instagram Post from Taylor Swift and that came right after the debate ended. Here she is sharing a picture with her cat. In the post she endorses Kamala Harris. She says she is the research to make up she says she is the research to make up your mind about who to vote for and goes on to say that Kamala Harris is a warrior for causes that she cares about and urges her children a 3 Million followers to register to vote or at least the Ones in the us. She also talks about Misinformation Spread online about her supporting Donald Trump. Donald trump has previously shared images like these suggesting that she and her supporters are big fans of him. Ai generated pictures like this for example which was shared by Donald Trump on truth social are increasingly being circulated online around the election, almost like illustrations to make specific points. And for quite a few of these ai generated pictures are apparently theyve also been shared in a way that could mislead voters ahead of Polling Day in the us. Taylor swift Santa Post by referring to herself as a childless cat lady, here she is referencing comments made by the trump running Matejd Vance about travels Cat Ladies which went viral online. Why does any of this matter . Ive been hanging out with some of the people involved in the Taylor Swift for Kamala Harris campaign who mobilised before the endorsement and are very active on sites like tick tock. They were very excited, and have a reputation for being effective at pushing particular messages online. They also have a reputation for being devoted to Taylor Swift and ferocious to those they see as enemies. This online fandom could be a useful tool for the Kamala Harris campaign especially when it comes to going head to head with Donald Trump and his active base of supporters online. This all puts the election online. This all puts the election on the radar of younger and engaged voters and means that supporters online can feel more authentic than paid for adverts. But there is a question as to whether any of this could attract voters from the opposite team. And i promise to more cats and because the oh soap were mentiOned in the debate by Donald Trump and not on the way you might expect he pushed baseless claims suggesting that pets were being eaten by migrants in ohio and he said that the illegal immigrants are eating the pets of the people that live here. Officials have told bbc verify there is no credible evidence to support this. These baseless allegations again started on Social Media seemingly were several posts including One on a Facebook Group in the city of springfield were someOne accused immigrants from haiti of killing a cat. This was later amplified by accounts with large followings including Elon Musk and right wing commentators. The claims from there then found their way onto the Debate Stage and Social Media is reacting all over again. You can listen to more analysis on bbc sounds. In the last half an hour, the government has announced it will establish an independent Public Inquiry into the 1989 murder of belfast solicitor Pat Finucane. The northern Ireland Secretary Hilary Benn confirmed the plans in the commons a few minutes ago. Our Ireland Correspondent, sara girvin, joins us now. Sara, tell us more. The murder of Pat Finucane was One of the most controversial and notorious of northern irelands travels, 30 years of violence here that sold more than 3500 people killed. Now the solicitor Pat Finucane was shot dead in his own home in belfast in 1989 by the loyalist Paramilitary Group the ulster defence association, the uda. They shot him 14 times in front of his wife and his children, he was 39 years old when he was killed. The uda did claim that Pat Finucane was a member of the ira, something that was rejected by police. This has been going on now for a long time, the Build Up to this Public Inquiry. Backin the Build Up to this Public Inquiry. Back in 2012 the then prime Minister David cameron apologised for State Collusion in the murder and fast forward many years to this current Labour Government and they have been facing a decision about whether or not to hold a Public Inquiry into the killing. That has followed years of legal action by the Family And Widow of Pat Finucane. The announcement comes after a 35 Year Campaign by the family but in that time there have been various reports and investigations and legal action and investigations and legal action and broken promises it is fair to say but never a Public Inquiry. And as you sayjust in the past few moments weve heard from the northern Ireland Secretary for state Hilary Benn who said that the exceptional reason of outstanding and unfulfilled commitments by previous governments to establish a Public Inquiry in this Murder Case meant that it should now succeed. He said he hoped for transparency and it would provide the answers to the family that theyve been waiting for for so long. Both answers around the killing and answers about the level of State Collusion involved. It has just broken, this news, within the past few minutes and weve not heard any reaction from the family as yet. But we are expecting to hear from them later this afternoon here in belfast. And you can read the latest on this and the rest of todays top stories on the Bbc News website. Blood Cancer And Blood disorder patients around the world are expected to benefit from a new Stem Cell Collection centre in nottingham. It will be the first dedicated centre of its kind in the uk and aims to reduce delays organising donations of Life Saving Stem Cells. Rob sissons has been to see it. A miracle of modern medicine. Last year, sofia Met Dana from germany, who saved her life by donating precious Stem Cells that proved a transplant match. Age two, sofia was diagnosed with a rare Blood Disorder. As youd imagine, sofia and her mum claire, from mansfield in nottinghamshire, are forever grateful. She didnt know her. She didnt have to do it. And its just amazing that some people can just be so selfless to do something like that for us. Behind suchjoy of a cure, though, are the logistical challenges of organising transplants. And in the uk, theres a problem. The Specialist Equipment used in the nhs and private sector to extract Stem Cells from blood is much in demand for other therapeutic services. The Anthony Nolan charity says there can be delays of weeks, sometimes months, coordinating a suitable slot for a donor. The majority of the transplants we facilitate, the Patients Team require fresh cells, so its really important we can actually get the date that the clinicians are asking for those cells to be collected and delivered. From the point of collection, we can generally get those cells straight to the patients. The Problem Weve got at the moment is actually trying to get the cells collected. And at the moment, its only 20 of the donors who were putting forward, who were able to collect within the window that the patient s medical team are asking for those cells. Here at One of the uks biggest hospitals, nottinghams queens medical centre, a dedicated space will soon be Kitted Out, Ring Fenced for Anthony Nolan organised donations. Yes, theres going to be four beds in the Anthony Nolan unit here. They expect to be busy. In theory you can put eight people a day through it and although we dont, we wont work every day simply because, for example, at the weekends you Cant Process the cells so easily. But certainly, you know, a significant number of people from all over the country can access donation here. When it comes to donation, nathan from northampton knows its something to be proud of. His bag of precious Stem Cells, a bag of magic from the Point Of View of a recipient. They were collected in january, 16 years after he joined the Anthony Nolan register by doing a saliva spit test. The day was really boring because you just sit in a Hospital Bed for around seven hours while The Machine does its work, and its no trouble. Theres no effort involved on my part or our part. You just have to be willing to do it. So youre treated really well. The donation itself is painless. And the good feeling that you get afterwards is amazing. So its One of those things where if you get the opportunity to do it, do it. So in the next few months, the unit will be Kitted Out and they hope to do the first donation here in nottingham early next year. The new Collection Facility should also mean more opportunities for cutting Edge Stem Cell research. Rob sissons, Bbc News, nottingham. A worker at Northampton Railway station is on the hunt for a Train Ticket from every single station in the uk. Elliott badger has spent years amassing an assortment of tickets so huge that its now displayed across the stations walls. Kate bradbook went to see it. Tickets, whether theyre on an app on your phOne, on email, or paper tickets like this, we all need them to travel. Here at northampton, theyve been given a new lease of life. 2 Million passengers use this station every year. One member of staff is collecting the paper tickets and putting them on display. The aim to find One from every single destination in the uk. Wolverton, theyve already got that One. One day we just took a load of tickets out the ticket barriers, had a look through just to see where people came from, put it in a Box And Thought have a look tomorrow, see if theres any new Ones. And then the next day, the next day, the next day, and now its nine years later what started out as an occasional hobby has turned into a daily ritual for elliot, and its definitely attracting the attention of travellers. Excuse me, where is your ticket from . Taunton, somerset. And youre trying to figure out if its here. Should we have a look . Oh, yes. Taunton. Ah, he got that One back in november 2015. Yeah, we saw it on twitter and we wanted to see it when we came here. So yeah, were quite pleased to see it. Its really, really good. It sort of plays to the geek in me having a look at how often people have to change to get here and the gaps that are left. Actually, dorking, look at that. Thats an interesting One. Tempted to try to get to any of these places and come back . I dont know if ill have time, but maybe One day. Last month, a post on the social Media Platform X by Travel Enthusiast Emily Turner went viral when she spotted the Display Board. People got really, really excited about it. Theyjust were really, you know, some people who were from northampton or who used to live in northampton were saying, oh, im so glad its still going. And other people talking about what a great idea it was. And i think like many sort of interesting transport ideas, it just was something that a lot of people wouldnt know about. But when they saw it, they were so engaged with. I thought id try to help elliott to collect a few more stations. This is a customer announcement. Any passengers arriving from easterhouse, Golf Street or hag fold, please can we have your tickets to add to the Display Board . Thank you but without success. The vast majority of tickets that are left on these boards will be little tiny stations in like, welsh mountains or in Scottish Mountains or like right out in the middle of nowhere. Most of them are just going to be a Platform And Nothing there. In the years since the collection was started, new stations have been added. So could it be another nine years or even longer before the board is complete . Kate bradbrook, Bbc News. Now the weather with darren bett. It is getting colder but when is it going to get warmer again . It was not too long ago temperatures reached 27 degrees in Scotland And Northern ireland. But what we have at the moment is low pressure between us and scandinavia and really showery air streams and strong wind as well. A north westerly Wind Today again but tracing wind back it comes all the way from up near the Artic Circle which is why it feels pretty chilly out there. Some dramatic pictures coming in today, this take on warwickshire where we had some heavy showers earlier on. And just to show you the radar picture, this is where weve seen the heavy showers, northern and western Scotland And Northern and western Scotland And Northern ireland but also feeding further into the midlands towards the South East of england. Showers developing more widely at the moment, so really pegging back those temperatures. These numbers around three or 4 degrees below average for the time of year and quite a bit cooler than yesterday in the South East of england. We still have that north westerly wind, still quite gusty although not quite as strong as Yesterday But Feeding in more showers in the next few hours. As we head into the night as the wind drops and it gets a bit colder, the showers tend to retreat back to exposed coastal areas. Man many places become dry and clear. As a result it is going to be cold again, only a bit colder than last night, to click around five or 6 degrees but lower than that in Scotland And North east of england. A chilly Start Tomorrow but many places will be dry and sunny, showers from the word go in northern ireland, scotland and the far South West and running down the North Sea coast. As temperatures rise a little The Cloud bubbling up which means more showers developing again. Perhaps not quite as many as today are not quite as heavy and the wind is not a little The Cloud bubbling up which means more showers developing again. Perhaps not quite as many as today are not quite as heavy and the wind is not as strong either. But not doing much for those temperatures, still 13, 15 degrees. We have the cold air in place later on thursday and overnight, and before the Weather Front comes from the Atlantic High Pressure is building across the uk. So turning the Wind Light in the skies will be clear and dry and it will be the coldest night of the week. Early Friday Temperatures and quite a few places could be close to freezing with the risk of some frost. So cole starts, a bright start with some sunshine. Through friday The Cloud tending to increase and we will see some rain coming into northern Ireland And Western Parts of scotland as well. Without cloud after a cold Start Temperature is not rising very much. But across england and wales it probably will not be quite as cold at 15 or 16 degrees. Heading into the weekend high pressure in the south of the uk, these Weather Fronts bringing some wet and windy weather to the north. That Weather Front tending to weaken as it moves south across the uk. So on saturday across Scotland And Northern ireland we will see some wet and windy weather before conditions tend to improve through the second half of the weekend.
