The police at this stage have given the sad news that a 14 year old boy has been killed and that two other members of the public were injured in the incident as well as two Police Officers who rushed towards danger to try to apprehend the man who was eventually tasered at the scene and taken into custody. We also note that the ambulance took those five people to hospital including the boy who later died, but it is not clear whether the four surviving victims have life threatening injuries. The incident started with a Car Hitting A home nearby, so police are doing the painstaking process of collecting evidence and going door to door to collect door camera footage, that is being asked for by police, as well as eyewitness statements. They will go door to door to collect those and to work out what happened this morning but we know that it started around seven oclock this morning and the police were on the scene 22 minutes later and the man was apprehended. He is 36 years of age and we have seen pictures of him allegedly at the scene with a large sword.
