Wilko shops are set to return to the high street before christmas. The brands new owner is opening five stores. The first will be in plymouth and exeter. Wilko collapsed in early august, leading to thousands ofjob losses and the closure of its 408 stores many of them, in Traditional Town centres. So as you said, we heard today that wilko shops will be returning to the high street, with the brands new owner opening up to five new shops initially. Cgs superstores, the new owner, also owns the range and it snapped up the wilko and its website when it collapsed into administration in early august.
