Were not sleeping since since saturday and so much is going on, but nothing is going on at the same time. Reality is that we dont know anything. We didnt hear anything and we dont know. So i think, you know, its how psychologically we deal with all this unknown business and what is it that you can you can either worry or fantasize, but reality is that we dont know and we need to look at what is ahead of us and what is in front of us and this is where we are. I totally get that. In terms of the developments we know about, we now have that deadline for people to move out of gaza. We know theres a prospect of a ground invasion. I was born in the � 70s and we used to go to the sea in gaza. We used to work the land together. We used to have so much in common. A lot of friends were just from the other side. My mum is an arabic teacher. She believes that this is all about communication and building bridges to create a betterfuture. These people believed in every fiber in their body that peace is the only way. All these rhetorics and all that is happening. I hope you know, i really hope that they put people as the top priority in everything they do, their own people. And im talking about both sides. You know, my preference is an opinion. And because opinions are just words its not going to do much. Im not sitting here going to stop anyone doing what they do. I never in my lifetime, ever in my lifetime imagined that what happened on saturday morning can ever happened anywhere in the world, no matter what we disagree and what war is it. A nine month old baby and a 93 year old grandmother cannot be part of this conflict or resolution. These people believe that there is a way forward. But its looking to each other� s eyes and find ways. Communicate. I dont believe that any Ground Offense or any massacre will create anything good. Nothing good will come out of this. We know that. So my opinion doesnt matter more than anyone else here. Of course, im worried for my mum. And i have entire, absolute sympathy with those poor innocent men, Women And Children in israel that lost their lives. In fact, i was with thejewish Community Last night at the synagogue on the south side of glasgow taking part in a Memorial Service for a person who suddenly lost his life, a scottish member of thejewish community. So there are innocent men, Women And Children that have lost their lives. We cannot have any more. It is enough, and we need the International Community to step up. Allies of israel to say there has to be a cease fire and there has to be humanitarian corridors open to allow supplies in and to allow people out. How are you, how are yourfamily coping . There must be just a sense of powerlessness, really. Totally. And thats what we tell the story because theres only a limited amount i can do. To me it amounts to collective punishment, cutting off power, cutting off fuel and water supplies. That is not a way a respectable Democratic State should conduct itself. Is he right . Still the mild air lingering here before the front cleared south eastwards. Further north, lots of blue sky and sunshine, and it felt deceptively chilly despite the sunshine, too. It was blustery with a brisk north westerly wind. Over the weekend, were all coming into that colder feeling air, so quite a dramatic drop in temperatures. Still windy, but lots of autumn sunshine around, too. Now, heres our cold front. Its clearing out into the near continent overnight tonight, taking the heavy rain with it. The mild air being swept away, replaced by all of this cold air pushing down from the north west marked in the blue tones here. Temperatures will be dropping below the seasonal average this time. So, tonight, then, lots of clear skies developing. The winds lightening towards the south. Still some showers out towards the north and the west. The winds strengthening, though, across northern scotland. And this is how well start off saturday morning, on a much colder note, especially for england and wales, than weve been used to of late.
