And Everything Else in the hospital is running as normal but what they are asking is that if you have, because they are so busy, if you have a child who is slightly ill and you are thinking of possibly bringing them down to accident and emergency, to not do that unless its urgent that they are treated immediately because they have to prioritise as much support and care for those who are injured who might be being treated here. In terms of statements from the hospital they confirm they are treating the number of patients following the incident and we will continue to support and liaise with families directly. Our Emergency Department is currently extremely busy, and as i said, they are asking parents to only bring their children to the department if it is urgent. The hospital says that the Emergency Department is currently extremely busy and what they are asking is there anyone who has a sick child in there anyone who has a sick child in the area who may have been coming into hospital, if they can, delay the journey unless it is urgent and they need immediate treatment. They are asking people who may have come down here because they cant get an appointment elsewhere not to come down at the moment and not to come down at the moment and not to come down to leave the hospital as clear as it can so it can treat those who are injured. They are not expecting any more patients to be brought in to the hospital here. This is in effect the Third Hospital out in terms of escalating rings from where the crash happened. The crash happened in wirral and the nearest hospital is arrowe park and in the next nearest is the Royal Liverpool hospital and this one is further out from liverpool city centre, four miles from the city centre, but a specialist Childrens Hospital. They have staff here who can treat children better than almost anywhere in the world and they are being brought here for that treatment. The hospital says we can confirm we are treating a number of patients and we will continue to liaise and support the families of those who have been injured but they are unable to share any more details at the moment. The hospital says it will continue to treat people for as long as possible and as long as needed. We know that nhs workers were striking in other hospitals and have been brought in and come involuntarily and ended their strike and have gone into work. By the time we arrived this morning there was nothing going on in terms of Ticket Action so there is no Strike Action here and we do not know if the doctors have gone in or if there was Strike Action affecting this hospital at all, but we know that the hospital is treating patients as much as they possibly can and they are not giving any details out at the moment about the numbers involved but they dont expect any more of those who have been hurt at the scene to be coming here in the next couple of hours.
