These are people who if you are an uber user you have got into a car thinking driver a is driving you but it is someone else. Separately, tfl have discovered there have been examples where drivers have had their licenses suspended have manipulated ubers system to drive people around. That is taking a real risk with londoners safety and security. Uber says it has tightened its procedures but the appeal now will go to court. Ubers regional general manager told the bbc that the company had completed a full audit on every one of its drivers in london. Safety is our number one priority. If i deal specifically with the case that tfl has cited, it related to 43 drivers who had come on the app and have exploited a vulnerability that allowed them to swa p vulnerability that allowed them to swap their photo with a friend. And then for the friend to drive on uber. So what that meant is as soon as we discovered it, we discovered it in may, we notified tfl immediately. So we were the ones who notified them. We also, for every sing one of the 43 drivers, we stop them taking trips on the app. We then implemented a technical fix that glows the vulnerability that exists in the first place.
