There was a bbc panorama due to be forecast rod all i can say is he should cast in the next couple of weeks and there has been a constant drip, drip co operate with Law Enforcement of organisations and charities without any condition and without trying to distance themselves from any more delay. Prince andrew so there was almost an the tone was notably contrite, something of a contrast inevitability about this statement to saturday nights broadcast. When it was released yesterday any sense now of guilt, evening put up giving you the exact regret or shame about any of your behaviour words again, it starts, from the duke of york, it has become clear to me over the last few days, the in your friendship with epstein . Circumstances relating to my former association with jeffrey as far as mr epstein circumstances relating to my former association withJeffrey Epstein has is concerned, it was become a major disruption to my the wrong decision to go familys work. There was a real and see him in 2010. Do i regret the fact that, that he has quite obviously conducted himself in set change of tone and a sense of a manner unbecoming . Yes. Our their full course. Understanding is this was a personal our royal correspondent decision taken by Prince Andrew but Sarah Campbell is outside it didnt follow discussions with Buckingham Palace. Sarah, will andrews statement the queen and Prince Charles was currently away on tour in new zealand. He isnt actually resigning help to calm the storm at all . Ending at any of his 100 also i think we can certainly say that 200 also patronage is but he is stepping back from them and there is there is no doubt the newspapers an understanding in the palace that this morning will make for extremely if those organisations wish to find uncomfortable reading for both new patrons, they will be an members of the Royal Household and understanding they can do that. Of course the queen. Every day since though he is stepping back for the foreseeable future and one would that newsnight date and on saturday, expect that would be for some time. Sarah, for the moment, thank you. There have been more revelations and apparent inconsistencies with what labour is launching its election manifesto in birmingham later this morning. The prince has said. Bbc panorama the partys leader, Jeremy Corbyn, is promising 75 billion pounds to fund the biggest social housing Building Programme in decades. Was due to broadcast an our Political Correspondent investigation in the next few weeks and there has been this drip, drip of organisations and charities trying to distance themselves from Prince Andrew. So there was almost a iain watson is in birmingham. Sense of inevitability about the statement when it was released yesterday evening and our understanding was it was a personal we are going to get this manifesto decision by Prince Andrew but it did follow discussions with the queen and Prince Charles was currently on tourin later today and housing is the big and Prince Charles was currently on tour in new zealand. What does it mean . Well, he is not resigning any of his 200 or so patronage as theme. That is what they are oppositions but he is stepping back briefing this morning because way beyond that, this is a very from them and the palace does important document forJeremy Corbyn. He credited the 2017 ma nifesto corbyn. He credited the 2017 manifesto with turning his fortunes understand that some of those around. Labour lagging behind in the organisations, some of those polls so it is their hope that some charities, may wish to find of the ideas put forward today can themselves a new patron. He will ta ke of the ideas put forward today can take the deadlock and tried to put labour back on the front foot. Appear at royal family events so taking it as a whole, a big increase in the role of the state, potentially the next time we see nationalisation is, railways, water industry in england. Some of that has been pronounced but also a big him, may be at sandringham at christmas was not he is stepping expansion in the powers of local back from public duties for the government as well. You mentioned housing is the most ambitious house foreseeable future and one expects that this could be for some considerable time, charlie. Pricing since the 19705. They said labour will launch its general they will build 100,000 new homes by election manifesto today, withJeremy Corbyn promising 75 billion pounds to fund the biggest social housing Building Programme in decades. They will build 100,000 new homes by the end of parliament. Only 3000 the conservatives are also talking about building houses today have been built this year was up we theyre announcing plans to deliver can see that ambition. Local a million homes in five years, with extra help for first time buyers. Councils getting more power over our Political Correspondent schools in the area. And on the environment, for example, they are Jessica Parker is in westminster. Going to fudge a previous commitment to get to net zero Carbon Emissions by2030 to get to net zero Carbon Emissions by 2030 still some radical policies so we are expecting this manifesto a little later this morning from the labour party . Yes and why this is a millionjobs, they claim, in green important, if you cast your minds back and it wasnt so long ago, to industries and also a big expansion in public transport including the last general election in 2017, the last general election in 2017, the labour party really credited the entitlement to free public ma nifesto the labour party really credited the manifesto as being one of the major transport. How do they pay for it . Stars of their campaign and they are promising this time around that it will be even more radical. Broad one controversial idea is to impose a windfall tax on Oil Companies and brush, expect a bigger role for the state stop labour will say that is as far as a windfall tax on Oil Companies and as farasi a windfall tax on Oil Companies and as far as i am aware, that idea is going to make it into the manifesto to protect consumers against today so i think you are going to corporate interests and elites as well. Policy wise, we will have to see very today so i think you are going to see very clear political dividing wait and see what they have got to lines. Offer that among the pledges that we know, in terms of housebuilding, our Political Correspondent Jessica Parker is in westminster 100,000 new Council Homes a year to tell us what the other parties are doing today. Plus 50,000 Housing Association jessica, we understand the conservatives are also talking homes by 202a. Now, that is way more about building homes. Both parties, labour and the Council Homes that is currently being built. Ithink conservatives are talking about Council Homes that is currently being built. I think it would be the largest number of Council Homes housing but very, very different approaches as to how to meet the built in the last a0 years. So i housing shortages. Ian was just think today, expect some big, ambitious plans but big money outlining, for labour, a bigger role for the state. For the conservatives, they are looking forward to working with the private attached to it as well and i think sector just to outline forward to working with the private sectorjust to outline a few of forward to working with the private sector just to outline a few of the measures the conservatives are talking about to try and meet their housebuilding targets and to get some people would say that the country cant afford it, labour more people into home ownership, would say that the country cant they want a new mortgage with afford not to do it. Meanwhile, the long term fixed rates and some tories have their own housebuilding plans. They want to provide a 30 discount for local first home buyers and looking at the small print, people saying a 5 deposit to help though, it wouldnt actually apply to that much of the Housing Stock in the coming years. We will be talking to members of of the conservatives first home was will stop they want and the labour party this morning. To create a scheme where local first in about an hour well be speaking to labours Angela Rayner home buyers will be able to get a and the conservatives sajid javid. 30 discount on homes in their area. Shes named him lewis after her grandson, so not that much of the housing as keith doyle reports. Stock. The woman in New South Wales, 2a0 who rescued the bear, now named miles north of sydney. Lewis, was reunited with him at the hospital. Is he here . I knew that if these distressing pictures show the bear being plucked from a burning tree, we didnt get him down from the rescued from certain death tree, he would have been up there in and doused with water amongst the flames though just immediately thought, just get to him, put the fire out and as soon as to help treat its burns. These shocking pictures have been i caught him i realised we had some viewed widely water in the car and just natural and shared on social media. The woman who rescued the bear, now named lewis, was reunited with him at the hospital. Instinct. He has really badly burned is he here . Hes here. I knew if we didnt get him hands and feet. His noses burned and down from the tree, then he would have been up there in amongst the flames, a bit of his private parts are so just immediately thought, burned as well and he is cinched all just get to him, put the fire out over. But look at him, he is eating and as soon as i caught him i realised we had some water really well. Are getting better. In the car and yeah, just natural instinct. Back to our the lead singer chris martin has said they wont be playing any concerts for a couple of years election election coverage. Because its bad for the planet. Lead singer chris martin says weve already seen manifestos from the green party theyll use the time to research and the liberal democrats in this Election Campaign. Ways to make gigging carbon today, its labours turn. Neutral before they hit the road again. One of the partys key pledges is to invest £75 billion pounds in housing, which leader Jeremy Corbyn has hailed as tra nsformative but the conservatives say hell be the hardest thing is the flying side too distracted by his second brexit referendum to deliver the promise. Of things but for example, our dream lets get more on this is to have a show with no single use from labours Angela Rayner, whojoins us from birmingham. Plastic, to have it be largely solar powered. So i think it is a question lets unwind all this. Do you want of just accepting that you have powered. So i think it is a question ofjust accepting that you have to do your best, not to be too overzealous in criticising others because everyone will catch up, i to outline these plans for social housing . We believe we need to build think, if you prove that it is easy. More Council Housing again. Far too many people are in what has been so they were injordan saying they Council Housing of the past and are werent going to travel around the now private tenants and are paying a huge amount of rent and usually world. People will be slightly Social Security are paying that and confounded by that. That they went we are paying way too much. We need tojordan. Confounded by that. That they went to jordan. But that is confounded by that. That they went tojordan. But that is where they more Council Housing in this country and our plan is to build 100 doesnt are. Doesnt it slightly ruin it Council Houses by year 5 every year, making sure we have the Housing Stock we need for the families who when you decide you want to put it are struggling at the moment to meet the housing demands. Where wheels we all online and everybody watches it on the laptop. That is not the same. See these 100,000 homes, houses, every year, being built . Ad where what do we think about the new energy thatjose barinia is bringing will we see . Obviously banfield is to tottenha m . Really important. We need to get that land back up to scratch to make energy thatjose barinia is bringing to tottenham . That energy thatjose barinia is bringing to tottenham . That is a really good phase because that is something he has clearly decided to bring with him. As he dropped the misery . Looks sure we can use it. The public grumpy at times after he left sector still has a lot of land that manchester united. I believe he even is not being utilised. To make sure that happened, we will protect our spoke to some people after that green belts. The important thing saying, what did i do wrong . Why, about our Housing Programme, it is not just about how about our Housing Programme, it is notjust about how many units are being built but that we can actually build communities again was up in eve iyo ne saying, what did i do wrong . Why, everyone said i was miserable and the past, i grew up in a council unhappy and that is because he was. Estate and now it is considered posh he was, wasnt he . He looked really unhappy. But there you have a man if you have a Council House because with a new haircut, clearly ready for his picture to be taken and it is so difficult to get one because of green fields, where kids looking very pleased with himself can play. We have parks where kids could have leisure. Our council still. Howe has his head changed . He Housing Programme will make sure people can leave healthy, green lives as well as making sure they has had a little prepress cat have the homes that are energy creep press conference trim. As you efficient and fit for the would, charlie. Lets talk about 21st century. Efficient and fit for the 21stcentury. Ambition and intent, all very well, but we need to be jose barinia instead. Jose practical. So in the past ten years, only twice has the whole construct mourinho. Jose mourinho says he will take tottenham back up an set, sector, build more than the premier league table and put the smiles back on the supporters faces. 150,000 homes. How do you think you mourinho is the clubs new head coach, signing a deal until 2023. Will do this, build 100,000 homes when the whole nectar, this is a he replaces Mauricio Pochettino who was sacked on tuesday, with tottenham iath in the premier league and without a league win in five matches. Social homes, hasnt managed to do sorry we didnt pick much smiley it . Because the 1945 Labour Government was able to build it. |j am talking about the last ten years pictures, there arent that many. And it has only happened twice. With a tough start for Dominic Sibley as he scores just 22 on his debut, but england go all due respect, in the last ten on to build a solid platform and close on 2a1 for a on day one of the first test against new zealand. Yea rs we all due respect, in the last ten years we havent been in government. For the last nine years, the liberal democrats and the conservatives have beenin democrats and the conservatives have been in government. I am talking about when labour last built those Council Homes and were able to transform our communities. Not only will we build those houses, my Great Britain Beat National Education Service that will the netherlands in their opening give people skills to be able to group game of the davis cup. Utilise those jobs at the well as wins for andy murray in the singles well, at the moment people are and jamie murray and neal skupski locked out of education, it is to in the doubles secured the victory. Costly for them, whether it is Saracens Head coach mark mccall says the decision not to appeal further education, learning, we will against his sides 35 point deduction in the premiership develop skills for the future making will give everyone clarity sure we can develop that for the for the season ahead. The punishment leaves future. We will have broadband saracens bottom of the table on minus 22 points. Available for homes and businesses a really interesting decision, they and transform britain again so we can bea are not appealing. Eddiejones, the and transform britain again so we can be a leading economy in the head coach, was talking about it world. The labour party was in saying he thinks it will be really challenging for those players and the saracens players to go back into a set up and meet everyone again. A little bit of awkwardness. They will power, the last time they were in power, the last time they were in power, how any homes did they build . Literally try to win every game to try to make a point. Who knows how i was fairly critical, the so called it will end up. A long way to go. Affordable housing, i think we had to go back to our fundamentals and heres carol with a look values and that is it, we need at this mornings weather. Council housing for them i was an incredible recipient of that. In my childhood and when i was a young man carol, good morning to you. At16, iwas childhood and when i was a young man at 16, i was looking at getting a would morning, everyone. Some of us Council House, not many people are are waking up to a chilly start with ina Council House, not many people are in a position today young mother. Are waking up to a chilly start with a touch of frost but for most of us, some people are paying huge amounts of money with no chance of ever a touch of frost but for most of us, getting on the property ladder and a fairly cloudy start of the day and some rain in the south west. The next few days, it is going to turn are getting on the property ladder and a re really getting on the property ladder and are really frustrated that they cant get their young ones a house milder and at times we will also see some rain. Low pressure is driving ora oui some rain. Low pressure is driving our weather with this weather front and that is what is producing the cant get their young ones a house or a home near to them. Were going to make sure we build those homes rain stopped all around this low again and that is the priority of pressure, we are pulling in next Labour Government to build the infrastructure that written needs to south westerly breezes. Quite gusty for some, it has to be said and give people the opportunity to get although we have some holes in the cloud across parts of east anglia jobs of the future, homes that we this morning, expect those to fill. You can see it is quite a cloudy start of the day across many parts need and businesses to get the of the uk but through the day, infrastructure in place as well. It isa infrastructure in place as well. It is a really Transformative Programme but i think it is exactly what this especially in cumbria, through the country needs at the moment. When you were 16, that was 1996, correct . Hills, Northern Ireland, scotland, it was 1996. That was a conservative some sunny spells will develop and all the while this sunny rain edging into south wales and southern counties of england. Here, were government in power then. It was 1996. That was a conservative government in power thenlj it was 1996. That was a conservative government in power then. I think thatis looking at temperatures nine 10 government in power then. I think that is an important point because i remember that time and when i was degrees. As we push further east, temperatures are still a bit below in. People like me were getting where they should be at this stage in november. Heading on through the pregnant and that wasnt the case. I evening and overnight, there will still be a fair bit of cloud around and some showers coming in on the have been neglected. I have been brought up in a place where i breeze of the north sea, some of struggled and it was only when labour came into power and built the programme, it gave me an opportunity them penetrating quite well in line. To bea our first programme, it gave me an opportunity to be a good mother and be there for them penetrating quite well in line. Ourfirst band them penetrating quite well in line. Our first band of them penetrating quite well in line. Ourfirst band of rain heads my son and i watched that programme northwards. By the end of the night, on lost families and my heart a second band will show its hand. Absolutely goes out to those once again, if you are in an area children and those mums. I was that hangs onto clear spells, for looking at the world that was there example, parts of scotland, you could well see a touch of frost in a for me who helped me look after my sheltered glens. As we go through son and for me who helped me look after my son and i want ever at i want the course of tomorrow, here is our that for everything a person in this country because i want every child weather front moving northwards. To feel like they have opportunity and not feel like they are ashamed of who they are. I dont dig anyone still some rain in it and still some watching this programme will showers in the north and we have a disagree with that sentiment or developing area of low pressure. Ambition but what people will be what will happen is weather front asking is how do you practically do wrapped around that, we think, is this and this is why i am asking you going to produce this rain across the channel islands, south west these questions. There have been talks of skill shortages in the england, over the isle of wight and construction sector. Something we wales. Through the day, it is slowly have spoken about a lot. They need going to be edging westwards towards wales and the south west of england to be training done to gets but one thing you will notice construction workers up to scratch and figure out where they are coming tomorrow is bridges are up on what were looking at today. Now, from from, likely overseas. How is labour going to implement that, first of friday into saturday, the weather gets a little bit complicated and all, before then achieving is there is some uncertainty as to the of this low pressure. As it takes 100,000 social homes for the next five years every year . Its front further north, we will see reina push further north. If the you are absolutely right we need front stays further south and the low pressure thinks further south, the position will be different. Those skills. Some of us have been see rain push. But the rain will called, in education, schools, we need to give skills to our children push into Northern Ireland and then for the future. It would be a really scotla nd push into Northern Ireland and then scotland and it will brighten up behind it, still relatively bright behind it, still relatively bright behind it, still relatively bright behind it but what we do know is it Good Opportunity for people to go is dragging in the milder air so for into International Education all of us, again, it will be a Services Free at the point of use milder day. It happens on saturday and we should also bring skills from will have a bearing on what happens on sunday so we think now, this low abroad where we needed them. It is pressure we have on sunday willjoin absolutely right to stop buffer to forces and we can as it comes in many of our young people are locked out of education at the moment. With this next area of low pressure. So we have the rain moving across but too many of our young people. So Northern England and parts of that we can come up with green scotland, and we have this next system coming in from the climate jobs and the infrastructure south west, wringing a spell of for the future. Your manifesto is persistent rain, moving north east words, between some drier and coming out at 11 oclock today. In brighter conditions and still, on it, isJeremy Corbyn going to the mild side compare to what we confirm which side he will stand in have been used to. Worth mentioning as well, at the moment environment the brexit referendum . He was asked agencies still have 1a flood warnings in force. Back to u2. What matters is who is going help those on lower incomes. This would affect 31 million workers. It to deliver and Jeremy Corbyn is a man of his word. And i absolutely has not been confirmed because of believe that he will get the deal the tory manifesto is not published done so that the country can move on and Start Building britain again. For all of us, it will out some more if you dont. Be milder. Into sunday, we still have the area of low pressure. It is you out. Something else . I will read out some more if you dont. It is a bit unsavoury. This is about train followed up by this next one coming in and this one is also looking to spitting, see what i did there, it bring rain, preceded by a gusty makes me feel dirty to hold that paper. Someone spat on the platform winds. The remnants of low pressure in the north, swallowed up by the after brushing their teeth. He was next one. Persistent rain persistent at euston and an nhs worker saw him for the south west, the midlands and southern counties. It will also be and she could not believe what he was doing. She said that she was windy. Concerned about health and safety the conservatives are yet plus, someone could have slipped and to publish their full manifesto but they continue to make pre election pledges. Yesterday borisjohnson committed theissue to raising the threshold for paying plus, someone could have slipped and the issue around the germs as well National Insurance. But what i like is they have made during a visit to an engineering some names the station that kings plant in teesside, he told workers the policy put £500 in the pocket of everybody however the analysis puts the figure floss, to tooth broadway, tower at £85 pound. Chancellor sajid javid joins us now drill. It just amuses from westminster to explain. Floss, to tooth broadway, tower drill. Itjust amuses me. This man good morning and thank you for your has a mother somewhere, may be a time. We love doing this. This is to partner. And it looks like he has try and get clarity on something got a job as well. People who work which will directly affect people in their pockets. Talk us through your with this guy. Honestly, can you imagine what it would be like. Plans for National Insurance with this guy. Honestly, can you contributions. A conservative imagine what it would be likem with this guy. Honestly, can you imagine what it would be like. It is not very savoury. Health hazard. Majority government, if we are elected, we will cut taxes for hard working people elected, we will cut taxes for ha rd working people by elected, we will cut taxes for hard working people by raising the National Insurance threshold. It is someone will slip on that. |j not very savoury. Health hazard. Someone will slip on that. I feel a currently at £8,632 so people start bit sick. Glad we delivered paying National Insurance after that something on thursday morning. Point of earning and we will raise that in the first year, my first Jeremy Corbyn is hoping to appeal to voters across the uk budget, will raise that to £9,500 when he launches labours manifesto today, but hell be particularly and that will be a saving ofjust keen that it goes down well in those all importa nt marginal seats. One of them is swindon south, under £100 for 31 million people, a which spent 13 years under a labour mp before tax cut. The Prime Minister also the conservatives took it in 2010. They still hold it, but only said it is our ambition to raise it by a couple of thousand votes. Breakfastsjon kay has been finding further, to £12,500 and when it gets out what sort of policies might win to that, that is a saving of almost the votes of those who live there. £500 per person and were doing this because we have always believed that we have shown that these since being is this how you are feeling about the election . Going around and backin we have shown that these since being back in office that hard working people should be able to keep more of their hard earned cash. One thing around. This is swindons magic developing is trust, that we need to roundabout, five in one big circle. Be able to trust what people say, specifically the leaders of party so i have come for a tram at guys ifi specifically the leaders of party so if i read a quote from boris barbershop. He tells me with the johnson, he says, if were lucky enough to elected, the first budget honda factory closing, times are tough and he wants labours we will go up to the £9,500 ma nifesto to threshold and that well put £500 tough and he wants labours manifesto to prioritise the high street with Business Rates into the pockets of everybody. Is apprenticeship. What do you think would help this community . We want a that true . What the Prime Minister miracle, just change these laws out is talking about is the first phase in the street. We are struggling at of the increase, £9,500, and then the moment withjobs in the street. We are struggling at the moment with jobs and stuff and the ambition to get it even further they have nowhere to go. But in this and get more tax cut to get into former labour c, Jeremy Corbyn faces a battle. The seat. We used to vote £12,500. I was very careful to read out what he said and what he said was wrong. We have been very clear labour but now it has gone a com pletely labour but now it has gone a completely different way. For this ambitious footballer the economy is and, as soon as the Prime Minister number one but he is concerned about how labour might target higher finished answering a straightforward a nswer earners. I think they have a lot of finished answering a straightforward answer from finished answering a straightforward answerfrom a finished answering a straightforward answer from a good finished answering a straightforward answerfrom a good woman, he finished answering a straightforward answer from a good woman, he set out good policies but the 50p tax we what our plans were and he has since could end up losing a fair bit and then set out in much more detail exactly how it is going to work. In we could do a full circle and push our first exactly how it is going to work. In ourfirst budget we exactly how it is going to work. In the economy the wrong way. An old our first budget we can afford to have this tax cut which in the First Railway town that has embraced new year would cost this much and the technology, here they will be next week when we set out our looking closely at labours plans ma nifesto we next week when we set out our manifesto we will set out exactly for nationalisation. If labour are how we will pay for this tax cut and going to reclaim swindon south, they set out our ambition to get to £a500 need to come up with a manifesto which excites and inspires people in which once it is reached that level, constituencies like this. It is early in the campaign but i have almost £500 for over 30 million seen no banners or posters here at people and if i can say, this is also on the back of the doubling of all. Kara has never voted before but the allowance for income tax. That she has had merely since the last threshold which we have taken to election and now she is voting £a500 already which is meant the average worker, and extra thousand labour because of the nhs and green issues. She says todays manifesto pounds in their pocket. If i may, must focus on what she calls poorer your response to what borisjohnson people like her. It is really hard. Said which was that up to £9,500 rent is higher so obviously wages are not going up. Affording rent, that would mean £500 into the pockets of everybody, your response food everything is such a struggle to that is we have been very clear at the moment. At the cafe, helen and the problem here is Boris Johnson said that an it was not true. In fact, the institute for and pam. What are they going to come fiscal studies shows the figure out with . They have always voted would be £85 a year and your response is we have been very clear. Labour but will not this time, whatever is promised today. They say it seems like it is the opposite of they are frustrated by the party on clear. You put a number out and brexit and it is personal. Subsequently in documents that they are frustrated by the party on brexit and it is personallj they are frustrated by the party on brexit and it is personal. I think follow you have had to repair the thatJeremy Corbyn, he does not seem damage which is tell the truth. Follow you have had to repair the damage which is tell the truthm is not like that at all. The prime to have any emotion in his talk and minister was asked a question and just plain and i cannot take to it. Given an answer. But he got the a nswer given an answer. But he got the when i saidjeremy answer wrong. But notjust just plain and i cannot take to it. When i said Jeremy Corbyn talking on television, i cannot take to him. Given an answer. But he got the answer wrong. But not just with given an answer. But he got the answer wrong. But notjust with me talking, very happy to be on your show, yesterday with all the todays manifesto will confirm briefings and press, it is all set labours direction of travel under out in detail the numbers of. Jeremy corbyn. If he can win here, briefings and press, it is all set out in detailthe numbers of. But why is it ok for borisjohnson to he could be heading to downing make a statement which is manifestly street. Jon kay, bbc news. Untrue . Trafficking charges. Rory burns then hit a half century, in a statement, the prince said he is willing to help any appropriate Law Enforcement agency and ben stokes is 67 not out. With their investigations, if required. To help us understand how that might work, we can speak to a former Great Britain will be back fbi agent, bobby chacon who joins us from los angeles. In davis cup action this morning when they face kazakhstan with the team aiming to reach the quarter finals as group winners. Thank you very much for your time thats after they beat this morning. Ijust wonder, when the netherlands in theirfirst group match yesterday. Andy murray got Great Britain you see what the duke of york sat in off to a winning start, his statement about cooperation, how beating the world number 179 do you see that . Well, one of the Tallon Griekspoor in three sets. Things that was worrisome yes, he quite pleased with that. Defeat for dan evans though talks about cooperation but he if meant the tie came down to the doubles. Jamie murray and debutant required. Which i wonder whether neal skupski held their nerve that means he requires a subpoena to winning their doubles match in straight sets. Appearfor his that means he requires a subpoena to appear for his interview. That means he requires a subpoena to it is an extremely important when. Appearfor his interview. Many people do require a subpoena, there we lost that one, it becomes is no issue with that, but many people just voluntarily speak with difficult but obviously tomorrow the fbi, or come into the fbi office into battle in the group stages. We are thrilled we have managed to win or voluntarily accept fbi agents who are coming to talk to them pulled up that tie. A long day. A difficult i wonder whether he requires a subpoena. It is collocated because day. The fbi could get a subpoena if they Saracens Head coach mark mccall wa nted says the decision not the fbi could get a subpoena if they wanted to talk to him. There are to appeal against his sides points deduction in the premiership has probably there are proper given everyone at the club clarity channels with that and channels to for the season ahead. The champions were deducted 35 points and fined just under go through in the uk to facilitate 5. A Million Pounds after breaching salary cap regulations. That kind of interview. You said the punishment leaves saracens talking to your counterparts in the uk about facilitating the interview. What does that mean . Fbi bottom of table on minus 22 points. Investigation is based here in the Southern District of new york city where mr epstein was confined at the i should let you know, rugby fans, time of his death so that is where the investigation is centred. If they choose that they want to we have tom curry and faf de klerk. Interview Prince Andrew, for example, in the uk, they maintain an office in london, the fbi does, they whose side are they on . My side of have had one for decades, it is at the us embassy and they have fbi the couch or yours . He will be on agents full time around the clock, they live in london and worked there. And so they would make a mine they will be on mine. Now request. Investigators here in the us would make a request of the fbi agent in london who would then they are playing alongside one probably contact their counterparts another. Faf de klerk, one of the big characters in rugby at the moment so i cant wait for that. In london, in Law Enforcement and help facilitate that contact and conduct that interview. What is your golfs European Tour reaches its season ending climax this weekend, as the tour championship understanding of the status of that takes place in dubai with the first round starting today. Fbi investigation as it stands . rory mcilroy wont finish his campaign with his have no first hand knowledge of that normal caddie though. Investigation but i do know from my instead hell have friend and former ulster Rugby Union Player 27 years conducting f v Niall Oconnor alongside him. Investigations that at the time of thats because his regular caddie is having a week off after the birth his death, fbi investigations, of his first child. They were probably an indicted Co Conspirators because a trafficking charge necessarily congratulations. Involves other people. There could and finally, we know American Sports be other people of interest was up i take their half Time Entertainment seriously know there are several civil suits but fans of the basketball team, where there were depositions and this the la lakers were treated people name. One was back in 2015 to Something Special in their latest match. And all the documents that were sealed back then, because that a see if you can see who that is in the middle. Civil suit was settled out of court. Step forward james corden now there are new civil suits being filed and they are seeking to get who joined in with the teams those old documents from the 2015 cheerleaders and not looking too out of place tennis player Venus Williams case unsealed and the rumours are alsojoined in as did various other celebrities. There are many more people named in they are both really, really quite those documents. Rinse and you may be one of them. And so the fbi is good. Is there anything james corden looking at those documents. If they choose to, if they think that an cant do . He can sing, he can dance, interview would be fruitful, then he can act. The eye is definitely they will go down that investigative drawn to him when he is on the dance road and they will seek that floor. He has got it, hasnt he . In the league of their own they are interview. Oftentimes, we try to gather as much evidence from the doing these challenges at the moment. The la lakers can do what victim first and then any other they like cant they . Absolutely. Documentary evidence we can get that can substantiate the victims claims lets return to our main story and Prince Andrews decision and then we go after the subjects of to step down from his royal duties the investigation last. So we would interview the subjects, if at all, for the foreseeable future. We would interview them at the far in a statement, he acknowledged end ofan we would interview them at the far end of an investigation was not we would do a lot of leg work first and that his friendship that would be started by talking to the victims and then getting any with the billionaire paedophileJeffrey Epstein, evidence that corroborates or who is now dead, had become support the victims statements and a major disruption then looking at possible subjects of to the royal family. Then looking at possible subjects of the investigation. Bobby, these are lisa bloom is a lawyer who represents five alleged in unusual circumstances, to say the victims of epstein. Least. Looking at the situation here she joins us now from los angeles. And the relationship with the investigations in the us. In terms of protocol, do you see there being, ijust wonder most how do you see that working in any i just wonder most of all, you sense . Well, i think the fbi office ijust wonder most of all, you would have seen his most recent statement. In london would make that official request to the authorities in the uk what is your reaction to it . Well, it isa what is your reaction to it . Well, it is a good first step but it is to conduct that interview and i am long overdue and the apology he is making to the vic is is also long not familiar with the official overdue. Victims. I think we saw how he really feels during his interview a few days ago he was protocols in the uk but i am sure the fbis london office, at the com pletely interview a few days ago he was completely lacking in compassion for the victims but now going forward, he says he is going to co operate with Law Enforcement. That is a good first step. I hope that means law american embassy, in london, would enforcement in every country that is doing investigations as well as the be familiar with those protocols and private civil suits brought by make that request and i do not know attorneys like me who are trying to if they are in the process of doing that both they have any intention of get somejustice for the attorneys like me who are trying to get some justice for the vic s. Attorneys like me who are trying to get some justice for the vic s. Can doing that but that is how it would go. It would go from the i ask you, have you spoken to any of investigation here in the states to the fbi office in london and they would make the proper requests to do the people you are representing that, to conduct that interview. And victims. Have you any sense of what thenit that, to conduct that interview. And then it would be up to the legal tea m then it would be up to the legal team of the person being interviewed they make of what the duke of york on the request being interviewed and how they want to handle whether or not they acquiesce to that request is saying . They were very upset by or whether they try to legally take his initial interview and itjust seems like he was somebody who had a manoeuvres to fight that request. Lot of sympathy forJeffrey Epstein bobby, thank you very much for your insight. Former fbi agent are and jess lane backs well and not so speaking to us this morning. It is much for the victims. Gives lane maxwell. I think it is a good step 7 a0. Rather excited to talk about that he says he will co operate with lawn last Law Enforcement but we have to see whether that will the rugby this morning, sally. You didnt get your side. Charlie got happen. Ghislaine maxwell. Will the side again. Charlie got the side with two very special guests. You may recall seeing south africas faf de klerk he sit for depositions in the civil and englands tom curry squaring up during the Rugby World Cup final which the springboks won. They are laughing. Good morning, cases. Will he submit e mails, calendars, travelogues, that all of us would like to see as part of our investigations. Will he allow his lads. Staff to come and answer questions about his travels and where he was and what they saw. So a lot remains to be seen. Looking at the wording its a good job you get of the statement, one section says, on because youre the bid you are referring to, i now back on the same side think, of course i am willing to sale sharks and theyve dropped help any appropriate Law Enforcement in for a chat. Agency with their investigations if you were really winding everyone up, wont you, faf back . Required. What do you make of that . You were really winding everyone up, wont you, faf back . That is part of myjob. Ijust enjoyed playing and getting stuff stuck in and it is afun getting stuff stuck in and it is a fun sport and i think the bigger well, the devil is in the details. It is one thing to make a nice quys a fun sport and i think the bigger guys dont like it when the little Public Statement when you are under quys guys dont like it when the little guys come in. That is one of my attack. It is another thing to truly favourite pictures. You are five co operate and turnover everything so that the dozens and dozens of victims who come forward and i believe there are probably hundreds if not thousands of them, so that we foot seven and a half. You are not can all getjustice, so that we can put together a timeline, so that we can find out who else was involved. It is not just scared to go in and lets face it, can find out who else was involved. It is notjust about Prince Andrew or even ms maxwell. There are other recruiters, there are other make a nuisance of yourself. Look at you what was happening there . Prominent political figures, celebrities, who are involved in probably faf, leave me alone. Tom this and it is time for us to really get to the bottom of what happened didnt really come for me was not he and clearly Prince Andrew has some just likes to try to push me away critical information. And i ask you, but i kept going at haemolytic a ina critical information. And i ask you, in a practical sense in terms of the bit longer. Can i draw attention to legal process, where do you see this going in relation to the duke of this. Your teammates for sale sharks and you come back from the world york . Well, i, as an attorney, have cup. One world cup winner. Thank you. You i will going to say it i the right to subpoena witnesses to come and take depositions. Those are am going to say it, one not and you our court statements where they swear to tell the truth, they come are in the change room and you into my office and they have to havent seen each other since was up you have a medal, you are carrying a nswer into my office and they have to answer my questions. If i as an with you, tell me what happens next. Attorney in the individual to have releva nt attorney in the individual to have relevant information. Now, it is not i greeted everyone, i didnt see time in the morning and we had a going to be easy to subpoena someone like Prince Andrew. You are meeting and i went in and thought it would be a nice treat to put the obviously not walking down a street where a process server can hand him metal on his shoulder, just draped a piece of paper. It is a lot more over shoulder, just to see what it complicated. If he refuses to come, looks like. So that happened. That we may have a diplomatic situation is not the end of the story was not what happened, time, when he did between your country and mine. I that . I cant really do much. I am hope it doesnt come to that. I take him at his word that he says he is not ina that . I cant really do much. I am not in a winning position so ijust going to co operate and i hope handed it back because of it was thats what going to happen. Going to co operate and i hope thats what going to happen. Looking again at the statement, it says his very handed it back because of it was very generous of suicide has met has left many handed it back because of it was very generous of him. Did you headed back politely. You would have known hand it back. You would have u na nswered suicide has met has left many unanswered questions. These are the known how to niggle him. You must words of the duke of york, oak i have known how to get back at him. Deeply sympathise with any victims who want closure was not i can only hopein who want closure was not i can only hope in time they will be able to rebuild that their lives. Was not obviously, when you have two mates you play against, you know what you make of those and how those everybodys strengths you play against, you know will be received . Eve rybodys strengths and weaknesses. Faf probably isnt losing his head so that isjust one what you make of those and how those will be received . Well, that is very of those things but he is definitely a target. He is almost the pivot nice for him to say that now when presumably has had people help him that south africa go around, really. Write the statement. What he said in the interview when he was asked whether he regretted his long friendship with jeffrey whether he regretted his long friendship withJeffrey Epstein was, tom, you are almost like a spy for well, no, not really, becausei friendship withJeffrey Epstein was, well, no, not really, because i made so many interesting contacts. I mean, what kind of a thing is that england because everybody wanted to know from you have to deal with him. To say about a man who may be one of what on earth did you say . Game is the most prolific paedophiles we so have ever known . Doesnt prince what on earth did you say . Game is so public now, you look at the analysis of the game, you can see andrew as a member of the royal everything. You dont necessarily family have the opportunity to meet have to do, you know, need to tell england what they need to do. Virtually anyone in the world he everyone is pretty much on the same page anyway. So yeah, we get all would ever want to meet . Even now that information pretty much run, after so many women have come forward with their painful stories, you see how he plays and i am pretty talking about their lifelong psychological injuries, even now he sure the fans know how he plays. Faf, you have one of the best would say, well, he doesnt really celebration pictures, trophy winning pictures, i think i have ever seen. Regret it . That is really disturbing do we have it . There we go. No words. Just explain what was going on there. Well,. I think what you and casts out on all of the statement he makes including his denials of sexual contact with Virginia Roberts who accuses him of some pretty serious stuff. So again, making a comment and a written statement a few days later is very different to what he said when he see is what you get. It came out of was asked about it and on the spot. Me and prince harry stop most of us cani was asked about it and on the spot. Can i ask you just one last question . You are talking about the get out of our kit as much as as civil process and you are accenting quick as possible because it is dirty and sweaty and we walk around five people that have alleged their a bit. So you wore those pants for abuse by jeffrey five people that have alleged their abuse byJeffrey Epstein. What the game . Yes, yes we did. We have information do you have on that . As to the status of the fbi . Well, all sale ones that i play and for sale. Are they your lucky pants . They are just very comfortable. Of my clients have cooperated with the fbi and have gone in and talked are you now thinking, tom, that you to them and the fbi, from what i understand what they are saying, they are continuing to look at didnt have the right gear . Not anyone who enabled Jeffrey Epstein in committing his crimes over the yea rs. In committing his crimes over the years. I clients allegations span from the 19705 to relying on a pair of pants, geez. Years. I client5 allegations span from the 19705 to the 2000 so this i5a man from the 19705 to the 2000 so this is a man who was abusing women for a long period of time and he didnt do didnt have the right gear . Not relying on a pair of pants, geezm has been an extraordinary moment for it alone. He had many people who south africa. Those moments we re it alone. He had many people who were helping him and he allegedly afterwards, what did you do had some people that he was immediately afterwards . Did you go trafficking women to virginia back to south africa and to spend some time there . I was a bit funny, roberts say5 Prince Andrew was one i dont think they expected us to win so the whole team was on five of them. Is at your thoughts that the fbi investigation could reach to different flights. I got back on tuesday. A few guys got back on the fbi investigation could reach to the uk . It certainly could and it thursday and then on wednesday we 5hould. The uk . It certainly could and it should. Thank you very much, lisa started our trophy, it was amazing, bloom, representing five people who have alleged they were abused by i cant explain the emotions that we felt and how many people came out Jeffrey Epstein. Was really special and to see heres carol with a look Something Like a game can unite at this mornings weather. Something like a game can unite some rain on the way but it will get Something Like a game can unite Something Like that and even if it is forjust a Something Like that and even if it is for just a few Something Like that and even if it is forjust a few moments, it was still very special. Are you still warmer . It really has felt so wintry buzzing from it . Yes, i am. Lately. Spot on. Temperatures will recover we still have new zealand, dont we through friday and the weekend. For some this morning, we have had some it was massive for me as a person, brea ks some this morning, we have had some breaks in the cloud and so some just a fan. Obviously we lost and he frost around but for most of cloudy was trying to console me but he said the world cup will be remembered for start. But it is becoming milder and england beating new zealand and that was a pretty special moment. Eddie there will be rain at times but not all the time. Quite a bit of cloud jones said it was pretty much the streaming acro55 all the time. Quite a bit of cloud streaming across the uk with a few perfect game of rugby. jones said it was pretty much the perfect game of rugby. I do not think you can be perfect in rugby exceptions with parts of east anglia and parts but it was close. What did he say to exceptions with parts of east anglia and pa rt5 of exceptions with parts of east anglia and parts of scotland and Northern England. That is where we have the you after the final, your family . Lowest temperatures. Towards the west, whether from you cannot go into analysis about lowest temperatures. Towards the west, whetherfrom producing this rain extending through the day it. But you are in each others across the channel islands, pockets for 20 weeks and it was south west england, wales and Northern Ireland. Showery at times but the odd heavy burst with a clap pretty emotional afterwards. Pockets for 20 weeks and it was pretty emotional afterwardsm of thunder. In east anglia, cloud there an official line when it stops . Expected. Further north, if you are there an official line when it stops . When you say, enough with the in the shelter from the rubbing in . I have not been too bad, south easterly breeze, you could see some sunshine, particularly around except for the medal. Is that cumbria and parts of south western scotland. In the north east, with true . We are a multinational side the south easterly breeze, some and we have a few South Africans in showers across north east scotland our side so they have been getting and the northern isles. Through the ita evening and overnight, our band of our side so they have been getting it a bit more than i have. Honestly, rain moves steadily northwards and it a bit more than i have. Honestly, it isa then we have another cistern coming it a bit more than i have. Honestly, it is a group. The pack mentality. In bringing more rain across the south of england. Some of that could one thing about sale sharks, also be heavy. Away from that, cloud arriving in this country changed around, the odd exception where we will see some clear skies and in your career arriving in this country changed yourcareerand arriving in this country changed your career and i know the coach helped to enormously because he encouraged her and give you more sheltered glens, and rural areas a confidence in your kicking . Back in touch of frost. And if you start to south africa we do not really need the date to start tomorrow morning and tomorrow, what we have is milder that, the way we play and coming on aircoming ourway and tomorrow, what we have is milder air coming our way represented by there was a lot of responsibility these yellows moving across the andi there was a lot of responsibility and i like to get given responsibility so he gave me that charts through the because of the and he gave me the opportunity to weekend. Ourfirst play, he gave me confidence to play charts through the because of the weekend. Our first weather front and start every game and that gives moving north. A few showers coming you a lot of confidence as a player in on the breeze across the far and that is one of the main reasons north of scotland. Some breaks in why i got back into the south african side. Good to see you both. The cloud, hazy sunshine but in the south, a developing area of low pressure coming in this way. Congratulations and thank you for bringing some rain with the weather joining us. That was fun. Front wrapped around it. On friday, heres carol with a look we expect to see rain across at this mornings weather. South west england, the channel good morning everyone. The next few islands, towards hampshire. And also days will turn milder than it has wales. It is moving towards the west been. Rain in the forecast for today very slowly as we go through the course of the day. Depending on what as well. A big line of cloud happens on friday, will depend on producing some rain. Across other what happens on saturday. Rain parts of the uk as well. Overnight across of england, wales and clear skies. In parts of east Northern Ireland getting through anglia, Northern England and parts of scotland. Some bright scotland, a touch of frost first disguise but a fair amount of cloud thing. Where we have the holes in ahead of it as well. Still a wee bit east anglia, we expect them to fill of uncertainty for the weekend focus up east anglia, we expect them to fill up with cloud. Showers from the but it will turn milder. North sea getting into Northern Ireland, wales and the south west as heres a question. How much do products as well. Critical for the time of cost in a pound shop . £1 you are wrong. Year as we push further ease. This evening and overnight, still a fair amount of cloud. Clear skies i note this is a change that poundland in sheltered areas. The front moving brought in this week. Theyve got 875 stores up in sheltered areas. The front moving up into Northern England and across the uk and ireland fringing into Northern Ireland. A and theyre widening their price new system coming in bringing rain range down to 50p and up to about £5. Which could be heavy at times with the odd clap of thunder. Tomorrow, rain developing in southern areas, moving northwards and westwards through the day. Another front it should change its name. They say its so they can increase the number of products moving through scotland and Northern Ireland. Temperatures across the theyve starting doing clothing board a little bit milder. In many of their stores. The plan is to be more of a one stop shop temperatures across the board a little bit milder. In a similar vein to their rival three weeks ago, discounters like b m the lib dem leaderjo swinson was billing herself as britains and homebargains whove next Prime Minister. Got a range of prices. Now shes admitted that getting poundland of course is not the keys to number ten the only pound shop out would be a big step. Theres also poundstretcher. She was speaking yesterday, after unveiling her partys manifesto on issues including brexit, which they would cancel, nhs funding and green energy. Her lib dem colleague, tom brake, can tell us more. Hes in westminster. And all other shops. But do people thank you forjoining us. Jo swinson really ca re . Does not think she can be Prime Minister anymore, what changed her and all other shops. But do people really care . We have been talking to mind . We are fighting to make her some shoppers. Prime minister and it was a pity she was not in that 2 way debate because she could have outside both Boris Johnson and Jeremy Corbyn very i come to the pound shop because i can get everything i need for a easily. But my question was what has pound. Most of the stuff is £1. Changed her mind . We put out our ma nifesto changed her mind . We put out our manifesto and what it is about is about what we can offer for the often i come in for one thing but thenl future and that is why people will often i come in for one thing but then i get down the aisles and buy see substantial investment in more things. If you think that this childcare, a very Ambitious Programme to tackle the Climate Emergency and if that is what people wa nt to emergency and if that is what people want to hear and hearfrom is happening more often and these emergency and if that is what people want to hear and hear from the liberal democrats about what we can offer in the future and they do not wa nt pound stores are popping up all over offer in the future and they do not want the past offered by the other the place, you are right. Lots of two leadership contenders. Ok, i will ask it again. Jo swinson does shops have closed on high street, they have been taking up premises. Up they have been taking up premises. Not think she can be Prime Minister, up to 20 more power shops in the last eight years alone and we are what changed her mind . spending more money in them as well. Not think she can be Prime Minister, what changed her mind . I do not think that is the case. We are we have now got almost a000 value fighting to get as many liberal democrats elected as possible. We know from the general election Stores Across the country. I mean, thatis Stores Across the country. I mean, that is a Staggering Amount of shops campaign in 2017, the lead they had and so many of us are spending much more money in these stores as well. Evaporated and we are fighting hard the amount of money has arisen, £5. 5 particularly in conservative seats to ta ke particularly in conservative seats to take seats from borisjohnson and million spent this year alone. This there is no evidence that labour figure is up to september. Can. Iam billion pounds. It is notjust there is no evidence that labour can. I am convinced that what we are setting out in our manifesto, proposals forfunding walking into the stores and picking setting out in our manifesto, proposals for funding the health this, that and the other but we are service properly, tackling climate change, investing in childcare, the spending more on line. They are on most substantial chunk of investment, while much of it paid line yes, it is really interesting. Through the remain dividend, the what is the minimum spend on line . Bonus £50 billion we get from stopping exit, that is what people wa nt to stopping exit, that is what people want to hear and when they hear that presumably it is £1. Presumably but i thinkjo swinson, her prospects maybe not. Do they charge for are becoming Prime Minister are delivery . Who knows. We were greatly enhanced and that is what we are going to be doing. She recently chatting a moment ago and talking to said in an interview that the lib those shoppers and there are dems can stop a tory majority. The questions around value. Are they selling some things that. Narrative has changed from when she sometimes you see something and you once said, at the start of the campaign, that she is britains next Prime Minister. I hope that she will think i could go to a supermarket and get it for less. If you have be writtens next Prime Minister. She is underlining the strength and experiences you would like to share with us this morning tell us. Conservative seats. Britain. From whenever you sue use cash because he did not have to fluff about with the south west to london and beyond. Change and that is half the joy the policy proposals that we have gone. Exactly. They are good for got, what people want is to hear what Political Parties will do anything future and that is why childrens bags. Like for parties. Were making that in childcare, in you have 15 banks to do and it does climate change, the investment neededin add up. How was the party . I climate change, the investment needed in our Health Services and social care so that people can see what we as a party would do and i am survived. Hopefully my neighbours are still like me. The theme was, convinced that, during the rest of this Election Campaign, when we get coverage for those proposals, people will like what they hear. She has please, no tears. We had a said she would not prop up a labour wonderful girl who fell over and or conservative government. She cried but other than that it went seems to be running back from that as well. Although she could deny well. How old . Three. He will not borisjohnson a majority, she has not yet said that she would block him from taking office. We have made remember. Theyre one of the uks it absolutely clear that in no most successful bands selling out huge venues circumstances whatsoever are the liberal democrats going to prop up across the world for the last two either a borisjohnson decades. Liberal democrats going to prop up either a Boris Johnson orjeremy but coldplay wont be corbyn government. I am not sure how touring their new album because its bad for the planet. Much clearer we can make that. We lead singer chris martin says have repeated that during the course they want to make gigging around the globe Carbon Neutral before they hit the road again. Of this campaign. Borisjohnson is in a world exclusive, frankly unfit to be Prime Minister he gave his only interview and in the debate when he was asked, to our entertainment for instance, whether he thought the correspondent, colin paterson. Truth was important, when he a nswered truth was important, when he answered yes, there were many laughs why have you taken us here . We in the audience because people do wa nted why have you taken us here . We wanted to basically pick what we not believe him. We will not prop up consider the middle of the world and either borisjohnson the middle of the biggest area where not believe him. We will not prop up either Boris Johnson orjeremy we normally do not get to play and corbyn. People havejoined the liberal democrats because of what dance like us did not come here very they feel is a lack of action by often and also it is just so Jeremy Corbyn in what has been beautiful and it makes me fizzle pointed out as anti semitism. With excitement. How difficult is it Jeremy Corbyn in what has been pointed out as antisemitism. Thank you for talking to us. Next friday for bands who believe in thats a week tomorrow Environmental Issues to go on world Nick Robinson will host the bbc Election Debate featuring tours at the moment . That is a great leading politicians from seven parties live on bbc one. Question. We are not touring this if you have a question youd like to ask, visit the bbc website album. Were taking time over the for your chance tojoin the audience. Next year or two to work out how can heres a question. How much do products it not only are to be sustainable but how can it be actively cost in a pound shop . Beneficial. How can we harness the you would think there is an obvious resources that our tour creates an make it have a positive impact. The a nswer you would think there is an obvious answer but maybe not. Ha rd est make it have a positive impact. The this is a change that poundland hardest thing is the flying side of brought in this week. Theyve got 875 Stores Across the uk and ireland, things but, for example, our dream and theyre widening their price range down to 50p is to have a show with no single use and up to about £5. Plastic, largely solar powered. Glastonbury, you are so part of that festival. Paul mccartney headlining next year. Any chance of coldplay joining the bill . No. Why not . I did three quarters of the products will still be a pound. But they will be p0p up joining the bill . No. Why not . I did pop up on stage last year, and i selling a new range of things. Loved doing so and then i saw a theyve starting doing clothing in many of their stores. The plan is to be more tweet saying you can always rely on of a one stop shop. Him to come on in a tracksuit and in a similar vein to their rival discounters like b m Read Everything so i thought, you and homebargains whove got a range of prices. Poundland of course is not the only know what, a should work on my pound shop out there. But does it matter . We spoke to some trousers, be, should not be on line and the sea, just go and watch shoppers. I come to the power shot glastonbury for a year or so. Do because i can get everything you need, obviously, for a pound or a they hurt you . Sometimes they do, little bit more but still value. Because i am human. Does it ever pretty true to their word, most of the stuff is £1. Often i come in for hurt you that critics have never one thing then i get down the aisles taken to hurt you that critics have never and find more things, by more ta ken to coldplay hurt you that critics have never taken to coldplay in the same way that fans have . No. No. Iwas things. You get sucked in. You going taken to coldplay in the same way that fans have . No. No. I was once at tottenham game, next to the away for one thing and come out with a stand so i was hearing both sets of bunch of other things. Things you do not need. I dont know if she needed songs and it is not that hard being all those decorations. We are in coldplay. We play, it is all our spending more money and more are on high street. A 20 rise on high fans, we do not have minor section street in the last eight years but which are robbie fans stop evenif street in the last eight years but even if they are struggling with people going to high street and going to the shop. They are not christmas, number one, christmas number one. So it is not as hard popping going to the shop. They are not popping down to the shops as they used to. So more and more is being in coldplay than in football. Shifting sales on line. The humble that is the whole message of this pound stock still doing well. Just not everything for a pound. Album. I will have all the details in 15 minutes. Its thursday 21st of november. Our top story, Prince Andrews offer to co operate with an investigation intoJeffrey Epstein has been welcomed by lawyers for some of the disgraced american billionaires victims. The duke of york announced he would be stepping back from public duties following scrutiny of his relationship with epstein, who killed himself injail while awaiting trial for sex trafficking. Earlier on this programme, a lawyer representing five ofJeffrey Epsteins alleged victims gave her reaction. We do think its a good, positive step that he says hes going to co operate with Law Enforcement but wed like to see that happen. Is he going to, for example, fly to the United States and voluntarily meet with our fbi . Will he sit for depositions . In the civil cases, will he submit evidence like e mails and calendars and travel logs, that all of us would like to see as part of our investigations . Will he allow his staff to come and answer questions about his travels and where he was and what they saw . So a lot remains to be seen. Our royal correspondent Sarah Campbell is outside Buckingham Palace. Iimagine at i imagine at some point Prince Andrew thought that by doing the interview it would draw a line under the questions and that certainly has been the case. Absolutely. The press coverage and comment since that newsnight interview aired on saturday has been so universally negative that there was almost an inevitability about the statement when it came yesterdayjust before 6pm. Prince andrew said it had become clear that this was a major disruption to his families work and he asked her majesty to step back from public duties for the foreseeable future and there was a considerable change of tone from the interview. He said, i continue to unequivocally regret my illjudged association with jeffrey unequivocally regret my illjudged association withJeffrey Epstein and he sympathises with everyone affected and of course, he said, i am willing to help any appropriate Law Enforcement agency with their investigations if required. Our understanding is that this was a personal decision taken by Prince Andrew but it did follow discussions with the queen and Prince Charles, who is on tour in new zealand at the moment. Hes not resigning any of his 200 or so patronage is all positions but is stepping back from them and the palace says they understand that those organisations might wish to find themselves a new patron. Hes not stepping back from his entrepreneurial idea and he wont be carrying out any public engagements but he will appear at royal family events so he might be on the balcony at trooping the colour and maybury at remembrance sunday but he stepping back from public duties for the foreseeable future and one can expect that that will be for some time. Back to you. Sarah campbell there for us. Labour is launching its election manifesto in birmingham later this morning. The partys leader, Jeremy Corbyn, is promising £75 billion to fund the biggest social housing Building Programme in decades. Our Political Correspondent iain watson is in birmingham. It is strange, this morning, because weve been talking about the general election for two weeks now and politicians say that you have to wait until you see what is in the ma nifesto, wait until you see what is in the manifesto, but not much longer. Not much longer, charlie and we will see it today and Jeremy Corbyn is putting a lot of store in a document that will be unveiled in three hours time because back in 2017 he credited the manifesto with restoring his flagging fortunes and it might have had something to do with theresa mays performance but he believes this document will turn the polls around as he is lagging behind the conservatives and he says it will be the most radical ma nifesto it will be the most radical manifesto in labour history. We are focusing our attention on housing and this will be the most ambitious Council House Building Programme since the 19705 and a hundred more thousand by the end of the next parliament and Angela Rayner said she wanted that young people to have the same opportunities that she had asa the same opportunities that she had as a young woman. When i was a young mother at 16 i was lucky enough to be able to get a Council House. Many young people today are not in that position and many families watching your programme are in substandard accommodation paying huge amounts of money for it. No chance of getting on the property ladder and they are frustrated that they cannot get a house and a home near to them and we will make sure we build those homes again. Angela rayner said there would be a house Building Programme and what we will see in the ma nifesto and what we will see in the manifesto is a big expansion in the role of National Government and the renationalisation of the railways and also more powers for local government, notjust housing but education is well and were told there will be radical policies on there will be radical policies on the environment, as many as a million newjobs the environment, as many as a million new jobs created the environment, as many as a million newjobs created in so called Green Industries to tackle what labour calls the Climate Emergency. But how will we pay for this . One of the controversial ideas that was in the draft of the ma nifesto that was in the draft of the manifesto was proposing a windfall tax on Oil Companies. There were concerns about this but we are told theyre likely to go ahead with this and therefore we will see clear dividing lines between government and opposition and perhaps the whole Election Campaign will be kick started this morning. Ian, for the moment, thank you. Our Political Correspondent Jessica Parker is in westminster to bring us up to speed on the other parties campaigning. Jessica, the conservatives are also talking about building houses. The conservatives also talking about their housing plans, but taking a very different approach. Yes, they wa nt to very different approach. Yes, they want to talk big numbers as well, 1 million new homes in the next five yea rs million new homes in the next five years but labour very much wanting the state to be heavily involved in building those houses are the conservatives much more inclined to work with the private sector. Interesting that they announced they would provide discounts for local first time buyers. We dont have a huge amount of details on that but it looks like it would apply to a small number of people by the mid 20 205. Meanwhile, the National Insurance announcement the Boris Johnson made yesterday, he talked about raising the threshold to which people would pay National Insurance to £9,500 and eventually to £12,500, and insisted in an interview that it would be an immediate saving for people of around £500 but looking at the sums it looks like it would be closer to £80 or £100 and speaking to sajid javid this morning we try to sajid javid this morning we try to get some clarification. What the Prime Minister also said yesterday, quite rightly is that it is our ambition to raise it further to £12,500 and when it gets to that thatis £12,500 and when it gets to that that is a saving of almost £500 per person. We are doing this because weve always believed, and we have shown this since we were back in office, that ha rd working shown this since we were back in office, that hard working people should be able to keep more of their ha rd should be able to keep more of their hard earned cash. The chancellor doing his best to not suggest that the boss of got the maths wrong. And to bring you some breaking news we are getting, we understand the tory ma nifesto are getting, we understand the tory manifesto will promise an extra £5 million for social care. We have previously heard details from the conservative government about an extra billion pounds during the course of the year for social care and it looks like they will be extending that over the course of an entire parliament and we will hopefully get more details when the conservative manifesto is published but like housing, social care has been a real difficulty for successive governments and we have seen a rising elderly population. it sunday we are getting the conservative manifesto . That is very much the rumour. Later in the week, asi much the rumour. Later in the week, as i understand it. Theyve got till sunday then. Jessica, thank you very much for that. Bad news for coldplay fans this morning. The bands announced it wont be playing any concerts for a couple of years because its bad for the planet. Lead singer chris martin says the time will be used to Research Ways to make gigging Carbon Neutral before hitting the road again. The hardest thing is the flying side of things, but for example, our dream is to have a show with no single use plastic, to have it be largely solar powered. So i think its a question ofjust accepting that you have to do your best, not to be too overzealous in criticising others because everyone will catch up, i think, if you prove that its easy. As weve been hearing this morning, the royal family is facing a deepening crisis caused by Prince Andrews friendship with the billionaire sex offenderJeffrey Epstein, who killed himself injail while awaiting trial for sex trafficking. But how does this compare to previous crises, and will andrews decision to step down from his public duties help to calm the storm . Former Royal Press Secretary Dickie Arbiter worked for the queen during Prince Charles divorce from diana. He joins us now from Buckingham Palace. Good morning to you. You have seen the statement that has been issued from the duke of york. What is your initial reaction to that . My initial reaction is that yes, he had to do it. We spoke about it on the news channel on monday that he had no alternative and it was a case of stepping back. Having seen the acres of coverage over the past few days, he really had no choice and the choice was compounded by the fact that sponsors were falling like dominoes away from his charities, so hes made the right decision and was probably forced into it, but it is the right decision. Just to be clear, this is a world you know well. Stepping back from public duties, in practice, what does it mean . He still a patron of many charities. He is the patron of the charities. He is the patron of the charities and its really up to those charities to decide whether they want to retain him as patron or seek a new one. My guess is that the charities will want to continue the work they are doing and will only continue the work if they get the sponsorship and the sponsorship does depend on the patron so they might well be looking for a different patron. He certainly wont resign from it. Its not really the way they do it across the way there, but its up to the charity to decide if they want to retain him in the long term, and in the short term try and make ends meet or do they want to get themselves a regular new patron. I would be surprised if they didnt get a new patron. Just looking at the statement, looking at the opening paragraph, its become clear to me that the circumstances relating to my former association with Jeffrey Epstein relating to my former association withJeffrey Epstein has become a major disruption to my work and the valuable work going on with the organisations and charities im proud to support. That suggests it isa proud to support. That suggests it is a decision made by him. How can you enlighten us about how this might have come about . He made the decision having been in discussion with the family and id be surprised if he hadnt spoken to his brother, the prince of wales who is currently touring new zealand. He would have spoken to the queen at Buckingham Palace Communications Officers to seek their advice and probably should have sought their advice before he did the interview, but he didnt. And he would have taken all of this collective advice and come to the conclusion that his position was untenable and that he had to move sideways and move back into the shadows. A little further into the statement, he says i deeply sympathise with everyone who has been affected byJeffrey Epsteins criminal acts and want some form of closure. That clearly is a very different sentiment than the one many people commented in terms of its absence from his original interview. Yes, very different. He should have said a bit more like that during the course of the interview last saturday and its a bit like shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted. Picking up after the horse has bolted. Picking up on all the criticism, why didnt you say it at the time . So he is a bit contrite and rightly so. And now he has got to say to himself, is he going to talk to the fbi all the lawyers and he should do, under oath, because this saga is not going to go away until such time as he put himself forward and answers a lot of questions that need to be asked. Its questions that need to be asked. Its an interesting point you make. We were speaking to lisa bloom, a us lawyer representing five people who alleged they were abused byJeffrey Epstein and she said that this statement is a step forward but immediately they want answers in terms of some kind of deposition. They would like to face that. So effectively saying this and saying, if required, in the statement, so that means that this is a lot closer to maybe being some kind of formalised question and answer situation. Do you think thats the case . Yes, i find if required a strange way of putting things and of course he is required. Theres been a lot of call from the litigants lawyers wanting to talk to him and the fbi have not been vertically forward in saying they want to talk to him but they will certainly want to him but they will certainly want to talk to him and if required is a bit loose and flaky. You should put himself up and volunteer and say, 0k, himself up and volunteer and say, ok, i understand you need to talk to me and im prepared to talk to you, instead of saying if required, do it. Thank you very much for your time this morning. Its its exactly quarter past eight. Good morning. Heres carol with a look at this mornings weather. And it has been so chilly lately, it really has, i understand its going to get a little bit warmer. One layer of, perhaps. Yes, tomorrow you will notice the temperatures climbing a bit. We wont be reaching the 205 or anything that we will at least be in double figures which we havent seen for a while in some parts of the country. This morning there a fair bit of cloud but we have seen some brea ks bit of cloud but we have seen some breaks where it has broken overnight and its been a chilly start to the day but as you rightly said, its turning milder in the next few days, but mind you, that doesnt mean it will be bone dry because there is rain in the forecast and we have rain in the forecast and we have rain this morning and you can see this white strip of cloud, thats a weather front producing rain this white strip of cloud, thats a weatherfront producing rain but even away from here there is high cloud around and any sunshine this morning is likely to be hazy, but remember it is a chilly start as well and where it breaks in east anglia, in the cloud, expect those gaps to fill in. Quite a breezy day and a south easterly breeze which means we could see showers coming in from the north sea, heading up the east coast of scotland and england, where is out towards the west we have rain, albeit fairly showery but you could still catch the odd heavy burst. Temperature wise, milder in the south west with nines and tens and the rest of the uk seven and eight, so below average for this stage in november. Through the evening and overnight we still have afair bit evening and overnight we still have a fair bit of cloud around, some brea ks a fair bit of cloud around, some breaks in the cloud and in the shelter of the south easterly breeze it means you could see pockets of frost. It tends to fragment and then another system comes in across southern england and that could well be heavy and persistent as well. If we pick up that area tomorrow you can see how it is across the south and it will move towards the now north and then head back towards wales and the south west where it could be heavy and persistent. Ahead of it we have a week where the front and there are showers dotted here and there are showers dotted here and there are showers dotted here and there but a lot of us will have and there but a lot of us will have a dry day with thinning amounts of cloud and hazy sunshine but temperatures starting to pick up. As we head from friday into saturday, here is the weather front and this is the other one connected around the area of low pressure. Still a bit of uncertainty as to the northern extent, but we think it is going to cross england and wales, going to cross england and wales, going into Northern Ireland and southern scotland during the course of the day and then it will brighten up, but all it takes is for the low pressure to be further south on the near continent and the weather fronts to be further south across the uk and that distribution of rain will change but do keep tuned. On saturday the pressure moves northwards and is swallowed up by the next one coming in and it looks like it will bring more persistent rain with it and also gusty winds just ahead of it. We have the gusty winds to start the day and we have the remnants of low pressure in the north producing patchy rain which is swallowed up by the next area of low pressure coming in which brings rain in from the south west and drifts northwards and eastwards through the day. But by then there is a change in the temperatures, look at this, ten, 11, 12 and we might even hit 13 somewhere. You tease, carol. I know how to keep you happy. Its its only taken a few years. You are getting there. Carol, thanks a lot. A woman who rescued a seriously injured koala from a bushfire in australia has been reunited with him. Toni doherty came to the aid of the creature in New South Wales and took him to a koala hospital the only one of its kind in the world. Shes named him lewis after her grandson, as keith doyle reports. This is the koala bear who was plucked from the flames, now recovering in a koala hospital in Port Macquarie in New South Wales, 2a0 miles north of sydney. These distressing pictures show the bear being plucked from a burning tree, rescued from certain death and doused with water to help treat its burns. These shocking pictures have been viewed widely and shared on social media. The woman who rescued the bear, now named lewis, was reunited with him at the hospital. Is he here . Hes here. I knew if we didnt get him down from the tree, then he would have been up there in amongst the flames, so just immediately thought, just get to him, put the fire out and as soon as i caught him i realised we had some water in the car and yeah, just natural instinct. He has really badly burned hands and feet. Hes got burns under his arms, his nose is burned, and a bit of his private parts are burned as well and hes singed all over. But look at him, hes eating really well. Keith doyle, bbc news. We can talk now to ryan tate, who has been out rescuing koalas with the help of his sniffer dog taylor. Thanks forjoining us. That story we heard about the rescue of lewis and other koala bears, this is u nfortu nately other koala bears, this is unfortunately becoming more and more commonplace. It is, unfortunately, where we are. Im here in Port Macquarie to the west and to date the koala problems, weve taken in 30 koala is that need to be relocated from immediate danger. Give me an idea of a typical day for you and taylor and i know he helps you and taylor and i know he helps you find the koalas. Yes, my primary role is im the detection handler out on the day so we work with the National Parks and the koala hospital and taylor is trained to find live animal so she will sniff them out of the trees and in their absence if we have a strong breeze, like we did tonight, she will locate the scouts, and we will bring in some experts and we will survey the canopy and burned or normal is difficult to spot and we will try and geta difficult to spot and we will try and get a drone in the sky to try and get a drone in the sky to try and find the individual and assess the health. We also saw pictures of lewis in the hospital. There is only one koala hospital. Tell us how it is coping with the demand at the moment. The Port Macquarie koala hospital ive worked with for many yea rs hospital ive worked with for many years and its an absolute state of the art facility and is embraced by the community on the mid north coast. There are other agencies around the country where we have hot pockets of koalas but the hospital in terms of its uniqueness has its own operating theatre and a dedicated clinical director, shane flanagan, one of the fearless leaders under hundred and 50 dedicated volunteers from 18 year old students up to men and women in their 905 and 150 volunteers. It cant be pleasant being there because all the koala bears that are being rescued, there are some perishing, and all the other wildlife. Unfortunately that is part of the job. We find a lot of snakes, birds and koalas. The heat was so intense that the trees were literally incinerated. It was hotter than you might put someone through ina than you might put someone through in a crematorium, so it melts everything but on the fringes, there area everything but on the fringes, there are a lot of injured wildlife. Obviously the wildfires are still continuing. What is the prospect in terms of time and area that is being ravaged as well. Where i am right now i literally have fires within a few kilometres in all directions and its going to be burning for a couple of months and Port Macquarie on one side has been burning for the extreme drought and we are having dry conditions and its difficult to stop. This is months of work ahead of us and we are planning trips next week up to the north and down to the west to rescue more survivors. Taylor has been exquisitely behaved but it seems a little bit restless. He played a bit of fetch beforehand, but herjob is to run around like mad all day. Tell us what it is like when she sniffs out a koala. What actually happens . Is she intimidated when she sees them or has she been trained not to bark because they are already in distress . Absolutely. She isa already in distress . Absolutely. She is a working english springer spaniel which have been bred in the ukfor spaniel which have been bred in the uk for about 700 years to find small animals and flush them out and when the animal moves, that dog has been bred to sit still and do nothing, dont chase, dont bark, dont intimidate. For me to train her to do that i am transferring the concept which is within her genetics over to a koala bear. When she finds the live animal, she sits calmly. Shes been raised around all sorts of wildlife so shes not the kind of animal to harass wildlife and she knows herjob is to sit still and be very quiet and then she gets her tennis ball. What is she asking for now . Either the treats or the tennis ball or a bit of affection. She will ta ke ball or a bit of affection. She will take whatever she can get. Give her a cuddle from me, please, because shes absolutely gorgeous and obviously doing a fantasticjob. Thank you so much, ryan and stay safe and enjoy the tennis ball game with taylor. I think she deserves it. Thank you very much. We will. Lovely. Thats brilliant. Youre watching breakfast. Everyone will catch up if you prove that it everyone will catch up if you prove thatitis everyone will catch up if you prove that it is easy to do it the right way. An exclusive interview with chris martin. Talking about how the band wont be performing live until they can make gigging Carbon Neutral. If you are a fan you will not be seeing coldplay playing live in the foreseeable future. Where else can you go from coldplay to star wars else can you go from coldplay to starwars in else can you go from coldplay to star wars in the same sentence . We will, we will have the man whose job for all of the star wars films has to be inside the suit of c 3po. Are you a big star wars fan . The gold android. He tells wonderful stories about the costume itself when he first got into it and how difficult it was to work in among some amazing stories. Very weird. Looking forward to that. We can now find out whats happening where you are. Good morning, the weather gets a bit more complicated for the end of this week, quite a bit of uncertainty in the position and timing of rainfall, over the next few days, one thing thatis over the next few days, one thing that is fairly certain, it is going to turn milder, then we have seen so far this week. This is the satellite picture this morning, this line of cloud here, that is the weather front bringing outbreaks of rain across Western Areas. Few bits of cloud, bit of sunshine, cloud will fill in, brighter skies around cumbria, scotland, north east of Northern Ireland into the afternoon. Southern parts into south west wales, and the south west of england, here, will continue to see outbreaks of rain through the afternoon. Temperatures about 10 celsius, elsewhere, seven or 8 degrees, brisk south easterly wind. Through tonight, continuing with showery rain, slowly spreading north. Bit of rain for moving north, through england and wales, overnight temperatures a6 degrees. So, throughout friday, showery band of rain moving north, followed by brighter skies, before further heavy rain moves into south west england, into parts of the west country and into parts of the west country and into south wales, quite heavy and persistent by the end of the day. Patchy rain across northern parts, some sunny spells, temperatures creeping up a little bit, nine or 10 degrees. Into the weekend, this is where it gets complicated, areas of low pressure moving in during saturday, uncertainty as to the northward progression, of the rain, the exact position of the rainfall. Generally speaking, rain spreads north, north and scotland should remain dry, we think there will be brighter weather developing across southern areas later on, maximum temperatures for all of us, rising up temperatures for all of us, rising up to nine, ten, 11 celsius. This is worklife from bbc news, with ben bland and karin giannone. Pulling a sickie. More than half of young british workers say they would fake illness to avoid going to work. Is it a sign of bigger problems with todays workplace . Live from london, thats our top story on thursday 21 november. Absenteeism in the office, a bbc survey has found that uk workers would fake a sick day if they needed a day off. But is work culture part of the problem . And, car clash
