He was a lovely young lad, very respectful with a big head of hair. The youngest member of the family came tojoin the youngest member of the family came to join his the youngest member of the family came tojoin his brothers. He loved his rugby. Instead of doing his own work he crossed my name out and wrote his instead. He handed that in as his assignment. Rugby was always serious but Everything Else was relaxed. So laid back that he actually straightened his hair one night in the house. With her straightness . Yes. I remember he was sat down when icame yes. I remember he was sat down when i came downstairs, straightening his hair. Backin hair. Back in the hinckley days, he was equally fearsome. He isa equally fearsome. He is a hard running, straight running and pick tackling. I wouldnt want to play him. I think people used to avoid playing or if they got substituted and had to come back on, they wouldnt. He remembers his roots and hinckley remembers him, even the new generation. I think hes a brilliant player and a head teacher says he sets an example for future generations. At hinckley they are proud. His old coach met up with manu tuilagi the day before he flew to japan for the world cup. We had a great time. He was lying at the next day so couldnt have too much to drink but we certainly had a beer together. He bought me my first beer together. He bought me my first beer as well. That was the highlight of my life. Did you capture it on your phone . Ive got it on my phone, yeah. Saturday morning around 400 players, friends and fans will be clearing him and cheering him on. They know they will get a wholehearted performance, homed in hinckley. Lets have a look at dan cole and joe marler, unafraid to show their emotions. We showed a lot of time together in japan and all of us have loved that im out here. An. Blokes likejoe just make it that little bit longer. Better, sorry. I wasnt sure if they were going to wrestle there at one stage but they went in with a hug at the end. Emotions running high. What are they going to be like if england win . Thats all from sportsday. Well have more throughout the evening. The Prime Minister has been exposing his frustration that brexit hasnt happened, saying he would deliver brexit by the end of january if the tories win. We are joined by the conservative mp for lewes. Thank you for giving conservative mp for lewes. Thank you forgiving up part conservative mp for lewes. Thank you for giving up part of your evening for giving up part of your evening for us. Why should we believe Boris Johnson that you will be out by january if all those other promises can do nothing . The British Public can see that Prime MinisterBoris Johnson the British Public can see that Prime Minister borisjohnson gave it absolutely everything and it was really the fact he didnt have it majority in parliament. The opposition tried every trick in the book to try to stop bracts from happening. Under the terms that he wanted, which was, as he said, come hell or high water, no ifs, no buts. Even ina high water, no ifs, no buts. Even in a parliamentary democracy, a Prime Minister cant force it. The British Public see that and that is why we see the conservatives go up in the polls and the labour party and lib dems sliding down. People are angry that we havent left. Whether they voted leave or remain, they want to get on with other things such as talking about domestic issues, the police, nhs and schools. They can see the Prime Minister got a deal that they said he couldnt get from the eu, brought it back to parliament, won the second reading and then parliament refused to let the Programme Motion go through so it couldnt go further. I think people want to elect mps that will get on and stop talking about brexit and get on and start delivering it and get back to the dayjob. If the conservatives were to get a big enough majority, would you be happy enough to lead with this deal oi happy enough to lead with this deal or would you rather try to leave without a deal at all . I have always been clear. In the ma nifesto i have always been clear. In the manifesto in 2017, i believe we should leave with a good deal in place. I wasnt happy with theresa mays deal and i voted against it initially. This is a good deal. If you look at what it offers, freedom of movement will end and we will go to an Australian Point system. After the transition period we get our uk waters back, which is so important to my fishermen in new haven. We will end the jurisdiction of the European Court of justice will end the jurisdiction of the European Court ofjustice and start to do trade deals. There is a Bright Future there at this deal does get it. It is not perfect and there are elements around Northern Ireland i am concerned about but we need to get on deliver brexit because there are other domestic issues around the police, schools, hospitals that people want to be talking about. Donald trump has done an interview with nigel farage and he addresses this issue of a trade deal. Lots of talk about how important it is for britain to have a trade deal with the united states. Mr trump says this Withdrawal Agreement wont allow for a trade deal with the united states, it wont be compatible with what they would agree to. How can borisjohnson claim it is the right deal for us to live on . It does give us the freedom to do the trade deals. Those trade deals on an individual country by country basis will require further negotiations. Donald trump may want us negotiations. Donald trump may want us to move wildly away from eu regulations on food production, agricultural goods and a number of things. As a country, that is the point. We can decide then if it is something we want to do and at the moment while members of the eu, the eu decide that and we get no say in that whatsoever. That is the point of being able to negotiate a free trade deal. We may say we dont wa nt to free trade deal. We may say we dont want to do a trade deal with the us because the trade terms arent good enough for us but it is up to us to make that decision. Donald trump is a tough negotiator and he is not going to do what we did when we voted to trigger article 50, theresa may did, asking what people wanted. Borisjohnson will be equally tough andi borisjohnson will be equally tough and i am confident we will get a deal through. He will be robust enough to say what is acceptable for this country. How difficult has the decision been for you to stand again in this election . You have talked about the kinds of abuse you have received of late . Yeah, no. 0nly late . Yeah, no. Only recently in the last few days i have only recently made up my few days i have only recently made up my mind. It is difficult particularly for female mps of all parties. Talk to diane abbott about experiences she has had. Every day i will get a death threat or abuse on social media or via e mail. My office has had graffiti outside it, my cctv camera damaged, my car damaged. Multiple incidents. That is not for me for people to say, feel sorry for us as mps. That is the reality of the dayjob. You get to a point in brexit stalemate when you dont feel you are achieving a great amount because all you are doing is talking about stuff and not getting stuff done but you do . That toll is worth it for you and particularly for yourfamily as worth it for you and particularly for your family as well. Some mps, particularly female mps, have thought that actually it isnt worth it and they have to put their families first. Thank you very much forjoining us. Just a quick reference to that issue about the opportunity of a trade deal with the united states. Downing street has said that we can strike oui street has said that we can strike our own free trade deals around the world from which every part of the uk will benefit. I will be back with you at apm but now it is over to my collea g u es you at apm but now it is over to my colleagues michelle and christian. Youre watching beyond one hundred days. Democrats take a big step forward in their impeachment investigation of donald trump. The vote in the house of representatives sets the ground rules, as democrats prepare to go public with their case against the president. But the house is divided. The resolution passed almost entirely along party lines, with the speaker shrugging off the republican complaints that the investigation is unfair. Sadly, this is not any cause for any glee or comfort. It is a sham, it should not have happened, its a tainted process. The latest witness is National Security council official tim morrison, who corroborated previous
