Well have the latest from ukraine, where the party of comedian turned politician president Volodymyr Zelensky is on course for a decisive victory in parliamentary elections. And liftoff in india which has launched its Second Mission to the moon. Irans seizure of a british flagged tanker has been described as an act of state piracy. Heres uk foreign secretary jeremy hunt. If iran continues on this dangerous path, they must accept the price will be a larger western military presence in the waters along the coastline, not because we wish to increase tensions, but simply because freedom of navigation is a principle which britain and its allies will always defend. That statement came after the uk government held an emergency meeting over the escalating International Crisis in the gulf. Its called for the release of the stena impero tanker which the uk says was seized here in omani waters. Lets take a listen to how it unfolded. Heres the Radio Exchange between iranian guards, the tanker and a royal navy warship. Just have a listen to this. You are ordered, change your course to 360. 360 degrees immediately. You must not impair, impede, obstruct or hamper the passage of the mv stena impero. Heres a closer look at the route taken by the tanker. Its worth remembering this is the busiest shipping lane in the world for crude tankers. Around a fifth of the worlds oil passes through the strait of hormuz. This is where the ship was turned around that bend there. It happened two weeks after British Forces helped seize an iranian ship off gibraltar after it was accused of breaching eu sanctions. Frank gardner explains where all of this leaves the uk government. The problem for the British Government is this. It clearly needs to protect its shipping in the gulf. You can see here how easily this tanker was diverted towards the iranian coast. But the royal navy doesnt have enough ships to do the job alone, so its got to be part of a multinational force, but britain doesnt want to be seen to be tied too closely to the very hawkish us policy towards iran. Downing street says there was no us offer to escort all uk ships in the region. Heres the us secretary of state mike pompeo on that. The responsibility in the first instance falls to the United Kingdom to take care of their ships. Tom bateman is in the United Arab Emirates port of fujairah. He gave us this latest update. There have been clear messages coming from the iranians over the last 2a hours, not only did they hoist their National Flag over the decks of our british flagged vessel but they they then played the call to prayer over then played the call to prayer over the ships speakers. We have had pictures released, the first tv images of the crew, confirming that they are on board the vessel. They appear to be they are on board the vessel. They appearto be in they are on board the vessel. They appear to be in good health, working, sitting round the table. The captain distinctly visible in one of the shots as well. That will come as a big relief to the families who have been in touch with one of the crew on board. They said it was a huge relief to see him sitting around that table. The fact remains they have had no direct contact with family members. I think all of this is suggesting that this is going to go on for some time. An iranian official by local media seeing their investigation into this, saying that they want to continue probing, will go on for another month. Meanwhile, iran says it has captured i7 spies working for the cia and sentenced them to death. Tehran says they were all arrested over the past 18 months. President trump disputed irans claim in his tweet us secretary of state, mike pompeo has more. The Iranian Regime has a long history of lying. They lied about where they shot down the american uav. Theyve now lied in the last few days about where they took down this tanker. Its part of the nature of the ayatollah to lie to the world. I would take with a significant grain of salt any iranian assertion about actions that theyve taken. Mike pompeo, then, this missing that. This that. This from donald trump a short time ago. Lets see what happens with iran. We are ready for the absolute worst, and we are ready for sense, too. But we are very geared up and they are really the number one state of terror in the world. To wrap all of this up for us, heres lyse doucet. This crisis with iran goes back to last year, with the United States unilaterally pulling out of the Iran Nuclear Deal, which has led to these crippling sanctions, including preventing iran from selling its oil. It has brought us to where we are now, which is this rising tensions in the persian gulf, this critical waterway for oil supplies. Jeremy hunt was making it clear that britain and other signatories to the Iran Nuclear Deal do not agree with the United Statess decision and it very much wants to try and rescue that deal, even many people say it is all but dead now. When it comes to the principle of freedom of navigation in the persian gulf, they are at one with the United States saying that we have to protect the tankers, although he has made it clear that they are not going tojoin the us led effort to improve maritime security. Instead, what hes announced today is there will be a European Maritime mission. He talked about all the european leaders he has been speaking with, so even there, britain and other european allies are saying, we do not agree, we dont want to be part of the uss maximum pressure on iran, we want to find a different way forward. Thanks for talking us through that. It isa thanks for talking us through that. It is a complicated situation. We will continue to monitor that on outside source. The deadline for conservative Party Members to choose their next leader has passed. Tomorrow one of these two men will be announced as leader, and the new Prime Minister of the uk. Former foreign secretary Boris Johnson is considered the favourite to win, over the current foreign secretary, jeremy hunt. Both chancellor Philip Hammond and secretary of state david gauke say they intend to resign if mrjohnson wins. And a minister in the foreign office, alan duncan, has resigned before mrjohnson could even take office. Here he is telling our political editor, laura kuenssberg, why. I certainly have resignations about him becoming Prime Minister. As his deputy, i was loyal, i serve both foreign secretaries and i have no doubt which of the two is the more capable and competent. I have very great concerns that he flies by the seat of his pants and it is all a bit haphazard and ramshackle, but there is no personal animosity of any sort, i just think he will go smack into a crisis of government. Is he fit to Prime Minister . I wouldnt say he is on for. Sounds pretty close. I will not let people put words in my mouth a criticism. Im a conservative. A patriot. I wa nt im a conservative. A patriot. I want him to succeed. Myjudgment says that it is going to be very difficult. What do you predict will happen and what are you trying to do about it . The real story of today is that the timing of my resignation was to try and prompt an emergency debate in the commons, ahead of boris becoming Prime Minister, because it is the first time in living memory that we have had a minority government change Prime Minister mid term, and the fundamental principle of our democracy is that the Prime Minister is the person who can command a majority in the house of commons, and that is untested and it is in doubt, and i thought that in order to avoid a constitutional crisis, we should test that on the tuesday, tomorrow, before he goes to the palace on the wednesday, and the speaker has denied me in the house that opportunity. Rightly think thats happened . That opportunity. Rightly think thats happened . I havent a clue. In his Resignation Letter alan duncan said it was tragic theresa mays government had been dominated by the dark cloud of brexit. Theresa may is expected to resign on wednesday, and a new government will be formed, but matt dathan at the sun points out the new government that takes over from theresa may has another problem like it needed more a tiny majority in parliament after the conservative mp for dover, charlie elphicke, was charged with three counts of Sexual Assault on two women. He will now sit as an independent mp after being suspended from the conservative party. There is also a by election coming up for the seat of this man, chris davies, who is having to campaign to stay mp for brecon and radnorshire after being convicted of making false expenses claims. Former chancellor George Osborne predicts well have to see if he turns out to be right about that. Nick eardley is in westminster. My my goodness, what a mess. When it comes to tomorrow, there will be a big upset if borisjohnson wasnt named as the victor. Absolutely. All the conversations around here today are about what Boris Johnsons government looks like. I spent most of the day in the house of commons. Theres an assumption, perhaps an inevitability over there, too Boris Johnson being United Kingdom Prime Minister. We dont know sure. Jeremy hunts team says anything is possible but the expectation is that it will be mrjohnson. It is hard to think of a Prime Minister who will come in more vulnerable. You are just saying about the working majority of the government. That is only with the dup on site. With them out of the equation, it is a majority minority government. If borisjohnson enters majority minority government. If Boris Johnson enters downing majority minority government. If borisjohnson enters downing street on wednesday, he will have a lot of work to do to get anything through parliament. The trickiest thing will be brexit. We know there are many conservative mps who are very uncomfortable with the strategy, who are reluctant for the uk to leave the European Union without a deal. And he has to try and find the numbers to make up for them perhaps from labour benches, perhaps from somewhere else. If borisjohnson is Prime Minister come wednesday morning, he will wake up with a huge to do list, if he is going to win over parliament to his brexit vision and anything else he wants to do. Dont go away, because there was another leadership contest amongst the liberal Democrat Party. After gaining more seats in the European Elections, the liberal Democrat Party have elected their first female leader. Jo swinson, in her acceptance speach she was quick to criticise the labour and conservative positions on brexit. Heres a clip. In the face of nationalism, populism, the catastrophe of brexit, the two old parties have failed. Our party has been clear on brexit from day one. We believe the uks best future is as members of the European Union, and thats why, as your leader, i will do whatever it takes to stop brexit. Lets go back to nick. She was the favourite and has come out fighting on brexit. That is the main selling point for the lib dems just now, they are the unequivocally anti brexit party in the uk. Slightly complicated in scotland where you have the snp as well, but in england they are the main party to stop brexit. So far in general elections, that message, they are not that successful, there are only 12 lib not that successful, there are only i2 lib dem mps not that successful, there are only i2 lib dem mstust now. Jo swinson will want to increase that number significantly if there is another general election in the next while. It is worth remembering in the European Election a couple of months ago, where brexit was the only issue people were voting on, the lib dems came second. They came ahead of the conservatives and the labour party, the only party beating them, the brexit party. Jo swinson thinks that there is a lot of ground to build on for her party. It is a fertile time for her party. It is a fertile time for lib dems politics. Again it is worth reminding ourselves that it has been said before, but general elections are complicated beasts they certainly are, as are uk politics at the moment. We appreciate that. Our colleagues in westminster will have a busy few days over the next couple of days. Stay with us on outside source. The chinese telecoms giant huawei is back the headlines today all about western concerns over whether or not its a security threat. There was this from the tech website cnet Companies Including intel, broadcom and google want clarity about what kind of trade they can do with huawei because theyve had little detail since President Trump said this at the g20 summit at the end of last month. We have a lot of the Great Companies in Silicon Valley and based in different parts of the country that make extremely complex equipment. We are letting them sell to huawei. Michelle fleury is in new york. She has been monitoring this. We expect this meeting between tech executives and people in the white house. Anymore . All of those involved are staying quiet on this. Just to give some context, the Trump Administration made a big show of cutting ties with the Chinese Telecoms Company huawei in the spring. Essentially blacklisting the company as a national security, and further context, the company cut itself in the middle of trumps trade war with china. What we expect todayis trade war with china. What we expect today is for these American Companies to test the resolve of the administration and see if they can persuade the white house to carve out exceptions so that they can sell parts to go into phones and laptops made by huawei. There are the china folks who are not keen for the government to give any concessions. On the other hand, the hawks. Whereas the us treasury secretary says that the ban hurts Us Tech Companies more than it hurts huawei. Well the us restrictions on huawei are being felt around the world and here in the uk they were specifically cited in parliament a few hours ago when the culture secretary said the government was postponing its decision on using huawei in the uks 5g networks. There was a lot of noise about this earlier. These measures could have a potential impact on the future availability and reliability of huaweis products, together with other market impacts, and so are relevant considerations in determining huaweis involvement in the network. Since the us governments announcement, we have sought clarity on its extent and implications, but the position is not yet entirely clear. Until it is, we have concluded it would be wrong to make specific decisions in relation to huawei, but we will do so as soon as possible. That was in the british parliament. You can see washington is pressing its allies to block huawei. It is. This is to do with the roll out of sg, this is to do with the roll out of 56, the this is to do with the roll out of 5g, the next generation of our communications take place over the internet, wireless, and as a result, americans have been going to their allies, trying to say do not use huawei equipment. This is the British Government saying, well, given that there is some doubt at the moment as to whether you will ease restrictions on what is allowed to happen between us companies and huawei, then we will wait and see when it comes to backing your call for this sort of blanket avoidance of huawei when it comes to 5g technology. Theres also a response from the Vice President of huawei said the uk government supply chain review gives us confidence we can continue to work with Network Operators to roll 5g across the uk. This is considered very important to the company, certainly it is seen as a major player at the moment. The company, certainly it is seen as a major player at the momentm certainly is. Michelle fleury in new york. This is from the Chinese State run News Agency Xinhua chinas latest nasdaq style high tech board, the star market, stages stellar debut amid innovation, reform push. Its talking about a new stock market for the countrys tech stock which opened in shanghai today. Monica miller has more details from our Asia Business hub. It is staggering. A stellar start to chinas new tech market doesnt really cover it. Weve got 25 Chinese Companies in the tech sector. On average, they gained around 140 , 16 of them companies ranging from chip makers to health care firms. They more than doubled their rpo prices on this nasdaq style board. Even a solar cell module manufacturer maker saw a 5a0 jump before erasing some of its gains. Investors are taking full advantage of the fact that it has no limits on share price movements during the first five days of trading. However, analysts are warning investors, dont expect this to continue. These valuations are way too high at this point. Even before the trade war began, china was really pushing to bring more domestic investment, bring money back to china, rather than have it overseas, and have them be less reliant on other countries like the us for their development. So, prior to that happening, this was already in the pipeline and in the works but, yes, this is a crucial time for china to start really investing domestically in these companies. Thanks to Monica Miller from the Asia Business hub. I will be back shortly with the latest edition of outside source. Heat and humidity set to become a big story over western europe over the next few days. It has been on the next few days. It has been on the other side of the atlantic. People have been taking to the falcons of new york, with the heat and humidity making it feel like it is above the 100 mark. Things are changing across the us. That humid air being pushed away by this weather front introducing fresh, nobody wins. Still going to be on the hot side but you will lose the humidity. Storms in tennessee, towards washington and boston could cause some flash flooding and it will still be humid but sunny conditions across the great lakes into pennsylvania and upstate new york by the end of tuesday, working its way into wednesday and thursday so new york, washington, boston, seeing the sunshine return, still pretty hot but nowhere near as humid as it has been. Atlantic humidity bows towards the end of the week. Closer to home in europe, this is where we have seen severe wildfires burning across parts of portugal. They have been causing massive amounts of destruction. And not good news in the forecast, more not much in the way a significant drain on the way to the area. High pressure in charge across central and Western Areas into tuesday. Diverting rain clouds around the northern and eastern flank. So clouds in the north of the uk across ireland in parts of scandinavia, down through poland, romania and bulgaria, and into belarus and ukraine we could see some severe storms with temperatures in the low 20s, compared to the low 40s across parts of france, and that is just the start, you can see some storm is brewing to the north west of france pushing across the uk and ireland through tuesday night into wednesday. As High Pressure moves east, we drag in a southerly flow dragging in hot airfurther north. By dragging in hot airfurther north. By thursday, the heat peaking across western europe, particularly through france, belgium, the netherlands and germany. We can see record breaking temperatures in paris, 42 is possible, ajuly temperatures in paris, 42 is possible, a july record stands at 30, and we could see some other local records broken no doubt as we finished the day. Towards the end of the week, finishing with that heat in london and paris but coming much cooler and fresher towards the end of the week following a period of storms. But things get hotter in oslo, stockholm and helsinki are some of that warm air pushes north towards scandinavia. During the next couple of days that heat and humidity will continue to build, particularly across england and wales but some storms on the way for tuesday night. More details in half an hour. If iran continues on this dangerous path, they must accept the price will be a larger western military presence in the waters beyond their coastline. Meanwhile iran has released the first images of the captured crew on board the stena impero. The tanker is now in an iranian port and is flying an iranian flag. Also on the programme violence in hong kong. Dozens of pro democracy protestors are injured after being beaten up by gangs of unidentified men. Puerto ricos governor says he wont run for re election but the thousands of protesters on the streets say its still not enough. And well be live in mexico city on the day of a deadline set by the Trump Administration to stop immigrants crossing into the us. On sunday, puerto ricos Governor Ricardo Rossello made this announcement on facebook live. Translation i am announcing that i will not seek re election as governor next year. Also, iam resigning as president of the new progressive party. It follows massive protests in the capital san juan. And the governors annoucement doesnt appear to have quelled them. These were the scenes earlier. Almost 100,000 people have been taking to the streets for more than a week now. The protests have sometimes turned violent. People have been chanting we will kick you out and ricky resign. Theyre angry after a trove of sexist, homophobic and other profane messages between mr rossello and his team were published earlier this month. The group chat was published by the centre for investigative journalism. There are nearly 900 messages. In one chat mr rossello calls the former new York City Council speaker Melissa Mark Viverito a whore. An official alsojoked about the growing pile of dead bodies after hurricane maria. Another made vulgar remarks about puerto rican singer ricky martin. Mr rossello has apologised but hes refused the step down. President trump was asked about puerto rico today. He is a terrible governor. I think you have an even worse mayor of sanjuan, she is horrible. I think shes horrible. I watched her. My people did nothing but complain about her when we helped them with the hurricane problem. The mayor of san juan, puerto rico is a horror show. She is incompetent, grossly incompetent. At the same time, the governor is not good. That was donald trump speaking a bit earlier, talking about what is going on in puerto rico. David begnaud from cbs is in sanjuan. David, it seems the protesters, regardless of what the governor says, are still on the streets. Yes, they are, but theyve taken refuge under and over pass because its been raining. It is the caribbean, after all. But the major expressway which is the big highway connecting sanjuan to which is the big highway connecting san juan to the which is the big highway connecting sanjuan to the rest of the island is still closed. The rain shower is expected to pass in the next half hour and protesters are expected to spill out onto the streets again. Hour and protesters are expected to spill out onto the streets againm there anything the governor can say that will appease them . There anything the governor can say that will appease them . |j there anything the governor can say that will appease them . I dont think so. Somebody was grilled on cbs. Support do you have . Ricardo rossello fumbled and stumbled all over himself, and then he said, i have the support of the mayor of san sebastien. Cbs reached out to him, and he said he infact sebastien. Cbs reached out to him, and he said he in fact does not support the governor. And he said he in fact does not support the governorlj and he said he in fact does not support the governor. I touched on the graphic nature of these messages, this nearly 900 messages. How upsetting have they been to the people of puerto rico . They have been infuriating. People have said, its kiss them off. This was the final straw for a lot of people, so what youre saying manifest itself on the street is decades of mismanagement by multiple administrations, a hurricane that happened two years ago that was arguably the lowest point for people on this island, and then you had these chats, profane, misogynistic, homophobic and just plain ugly. Beyond that, before the chats were leaked, two of the governors cabinet members were arrested by the fbi on charges of fraud and corruption. So people have had enough and, for whatever reason, puerto rico is always surrounded by politics, but today what we saw were hundreds of thousands of people are united and passionate with one simple theme. We want the governor to go. Librarians are i interviewed a 70 year old, i interviewed teachers, people on bicycles and motorcycles. People who skipped work today from all backgrounds in life today from all backgrounds in life to be here for protests. Thanks for being among the protesters. David has been monitoring the story from the beginning and he is on social media as you want to follow, because it sounds like those protests are not going away. 45 people have been injured in hong kong in an unprovoked attack on the metro. One person is in a critical condition. Pro democracy protesters were attacked as they travelled back from a rally in the centre of hong kong. Masked men stormed the yuen long underground station at about 10. 30 in the evening local time. This video footage shows the attackers indiscriminately hitting demonstrators with wooden rods and metal sticks, both inside the station and then on trains. Earlier there had been massive protests in the centre of hong kong. A small group of the protesters defaced chinas main Representative Office in the city. Hong kongs chief executive, carrie lam, held a News Conference condemning both incidents. We absolutely do not condone that sort of violent act, and let me make this clear again. Violence is not a solution to any problem. Violence will only breed more violence, and at the end of the day the whole of hong kong and the people will suffer as a result of the loss of law and order in hong kong. Theres been a lot of speculation as to who the metro attackers are, with some suggesting they could be triad gangsters. These are criminal gangs known coloquially as the chinese mafia. The Hong Kong Pro Democracy activist joshua wong who spent five weeks in jail over the cause tweeted. If we then just have a look at. So these are some of the absolute new images of the latest demonstrations and, like images of the latest demonstrations and, like i say, a really worrying development, because of the people in the white t shirts attacking pro democracy protesters. The bbcs celia hatton has the latest from beijing. Its been known for a long time that there are a lot of organised criminal groups operating inside hong kong but very close to the mainland chinese border, and these groups are really ones that have profited from increased trade with the mainland. This is where a lot of money and drugs are trafficked, lots of counterfeit goods. This is a very porous border, really. So these groups are not necessarily happy that a large proportion of hong kong residents want to increase hong kongs independence away from mainland china. You know, they are doing very well, thank you very much, by keeping that connection very close. So i think the speculation that joshua wong has, many people in hong kong agree that these groups are probably responsible for that attack at the yuen long train station. The police in hong kong have come under heavy criticism, with witnesses saying they were slow to react. He is from the Hong Kong Free press association. That suggests theyd got rid of them themselves. There is a lot of suspicion about the fact that the police simply didnt show up for quite a long time. They appeared to allow these attacks against Anti Government protesters to continue for quite some time, and thats raised suspicions among some Anti Government protesters in hong kong that, really, the hong kong authorities were simply looking the other way while this violence continued. The rally the protesters were returning from a protests that attracted more than 400,000 people. Heres former Chinese Government adviser victor gao. Protests and demonstrations are legal in hong kong. However, you need to do protests and demonstrations in a peaceful way. You cannot disrupt social order in hong kong in doing protests and demonstrations. Therefore, whoever in hong kong, who needs to make their opinions known, needs to do that lawfully, because otherwise you will disrupt the peace and stability in hong kong and people, people on the other side of the equation, will be agitated but eventually, everyone in hong kong needs to respect the rule of law and, i hope Everyone Needs to respect the Law Enforcement officers, who are doing an excellentjob in bringing hong kong from falling apart. And preventing hong kong from deteriorating into anarchy. Important to stress it is a former adviser to the Chinese Government, so that is one perspective. Lets speak to our reporter laura westbrook. What is the latest . Six men have been arrested, aged between 2a and been arrested, aged between 24 and 54, for unlawful assembly. Thats the latest from police. A lot of the focus today was the reaction of the police to what happened in yuen long, that they were too slow to respond. Ive been looking at some of the video, and its really shocking that you see these gangs of men Wearing Masks and white shirts, and they are deliberately targeting anybody wearing black, and even people on their way home got caught up people on their way home got caught up in the violence. One lawmaker was caught up in the violence and he had 18 stitches, and he said he believed that organised crime members were involved in organising the attack because of the level of organisation of this attack. It isnt the first time there have been accusations like this. In 2014, that was the umbrella movement, and a group of protesters back there were attacked and 19 people were arrested with triad backgrounds. So accusations like this have happened before in hong kong. Its important to remember that the whole reason these protests are taking place was because of this extradition bill. Thats been suspended, and yet the protests are ongoing. Sundays protests are ongoing. Sundays protest was the third biggest. Theyve been going on for nearly two months, so a very long time, and the reason they have started, people we re reason they have started, people were upset about this extradition bill, which would apparently have people in hong kong being extradited to mainland china. They wanted this bill withdrawn. Its been suspended, carrie lam has said the bill is dead, still the protesters are on the streets because they say they wa nt the streets because they say they want the bill withdrawn. What they worry is it is dead for now, but it might come back in the future, and so they want the government to withdraw this bill. You have these two really intractable positions, because neither side is backing down, and whats happening in hong kong is this increasing level of violence we are seeing, which we saw on sunday. Its really hard to see where we go from here with these two positions, and neither side backing down. Yes, an impossible situation. Thank you. Laura has been monitoring this story, the ongoing situation impatient for us since its beginning. Beijings really stepped up its rhetoric about hong kong. For the first time the protests are making front page news. And theres no mention of the metro attack. The global times has a big picture showing protesters blocking a road, with the headline rioters defy national sovereignty. This is really important, its the first time we are seeing this in mainland chinese newspapers. The peoples daily is also covering this. And on social media, the hashtags that are trending are the Central Authority cannot be challenged and protect hong kong. For more on this we can speak to bbc monitorings kerry allen. She is monitoring the social media. Just remind us, realistically, this is the first time we are seeing this in china. Yes, very unusual, because since these protests began in early june, there has been a real playing down from beijings. It doesnt want people to recognise that protests are taking place or that there is any dissatisfaction with this bill whatsoever, because beijings supported it, and because china owns hong kong. It sees hong kong as an area that belongs to it. It didnt wa nt to area that belongs to it. It didnt want to give the impression there was any unrest, so the idea of this making front page news today is very big, and a very defiant tone from beijing. This newspaper article saying that the Central Authority will not or cannot be challenged, very strong words from beijing, but we are also seeing a lot of the newspapers, what theyve got on the front cover of protesters wearing black, so these are the protesters who have been relatively peaceful. Some of them have clashed with the police, but weve not seen any images in traditional media of the people wearing white who were involved in the violence over the weekend, so there is still this maintenance of this idea that it is these protesters who have been out since earlyjune these protesters who have been out since early june that these protesters who have been out since earlyjune that are causing. They are described as mobs and riots in hong kong. Thats interesting, so this second element thats coming through, the gang of people in white t shirts, thats not been reported, so an element of censorship is still ongoing. Yes, but they are appearing ongoing. Yes, but they are appearing on social media. Its really interesting that these people wearing white, we dont know who they are, they could be triad members, they could have ties to beijing, but their images are appearing on chinese social media, and its almost become the perception for Chinese People in the mainland is that they had the impression these people were violent and writing, they were a mob, and these people wearing white, who have now got involved, and we dont know who they are, the idea is it is kind of almost a touch of good against evil.
