Coming up, gazing at the moon weve got some spectacular pictures to show you of the Lunar Eclipse. Good morning and welcome to the bbc news at 9. Comments made by President Trump about four congresswomen have been condemned as racist by the us house of representatives. The president called for these women from minority backgrounds to go back to their countries of origin, despite all being us citizens. Shortly after the vote, a democrat politician called for mr trump to be impeached. 0ur north america correspondent david willis reports. A row that started in cyberspace became all the more human, not to mention personal, on the floor of the nations capital, after the president was accused of racism. These comments from the white house are disgraceful and disgusting, and these comments are racist. On sunday, President Donald Trump urged these four congresswomen of colour, vocal critics of his administration, to go back to where they came from. Senior republicans have since been doing their best to defend him. Do you feel enough republicans have spoken up against the president . Absolutely not. What message does that send . The normalisation of it. The fact that its against our core American Values, that theyre choosing him over country. I wasjust going to give the gentle speaker of the house. If she would like to rephrase that comment. I have cleared my remarks through. Republicans sought to have Nancy Pelosis racist accusations struck from the record. Can i ask that the work be taken down . I make a point of order, the gentle womans words are unparliamentary and should be taken down. Whereupon the ill tempered partisan brawling that ensued proved too much for the acting house chairman. We want to just fight. I abandon the chair. The house voted to allow nancy pelosi to call the president a racist, and lawmakers lined up to tell of the effect racism had had on them. I know racism when i see it. I know racism when i feel it. And at the highest level of government, theres no room for racism. Telling four members of this body to go home because of where you believe they are from, is racist. There is racism coming out of the white house. And make no mistake, when people tell me to go back to where i came from, that is a racist insult because its based on race. I am a proud naturalised citizen born in india, a proud patriot, a proud person who belongs in this country, and its not the first time ive heard, go back to your country, but its the first time i have heard it coming from the white house. The president has said he doesnt have a racist bone in his body, but in a virtually unprecedented move, the house voted nonetheless to condemn his original tweet. Yet far from settling the matter, the debate served to underline how combustible as an issue race has become in 21st century america. David willis, bbc news, washington. Well, jan halper hayes, who will be working alongside mr trump as he campaigns for re election in 2020, said that although she didnt agree with the words he used its a political strategy that has put him in a better position to win a second term. The way he said that, many people, including republicans, have come out and said that that was inappropriate. But the strategic part of it is he now has put the squad back in the centre of the media. They stand for socialism, they stand for hating the country and so he is using that language, we are talking about it, but its deeper and more strategic because it is influencing the country, and getting them to see the difference. And nancy did not want them to be the centre of attention and he, by doing this, has made them the centre of attention again. Speaking on radio 4s today programme, David Axelrod former Senior Advisor to president barack 0bama, said the majority of americans are uncomfortalbe with mr trumps tweets. This isnt the first such situation with this president and, you know, there is a question as to whether people become inured to this kind of behaviour. But i think cumulatively, it can be problematic for him, in that i think there are a majority of americans who are uncomfortable with so blatantly racist appeals, of which this was one, and i think it also was problematic for republicans to essentially affirm it by voting against this resolution. But, from the standpoint of the president , i think he also sees value in inflaming his base and trying to maximise his base. So, we will see how this all pans out, but i dont think anybody knows for sure at this juncture. Nazanin Zaghari Ratcliffe, the british iranian woman jailed in iran for alleged spying, has been moved to a psychiatric ward, according to her husband. Richard ratcliffe says military personnel are preventing family visits. It comes after mrs Zaghari Ratcliffe went on Hunger Strike for 15 days last month in protest at her detention. Both she and the British Government deny the spying charges. Well, mr ratcliffe spoke to the today programme this morning about whats happening to his wife. The last we heard was two things. 0ne, we got a phone call on monday with her saying she was being transferred to hospital and shes been taken to a big hospital in tehran to a psychiatric ward. Yesterday, her dad went down to the hospital and tried to visit her and spent a number of hours there and was unable to get in. He took some lunch along and wasnt able to deliver that or to phone herfrom the hospital reception up to her. Probably to go back in a day and half, we were quite hopeful when she was transferred to hospital that it was transferred to hospital that it was a good thing. We have been calling for medical treatment for a long time and is something the British Government have been calling for. We started off euphoric but when it transpired she is under control of the revolutionary guard again and there is no access, we got more worried. Why do you think they have done it . I dont know. I think without doubt, as you said in the introduction, the fact she did and Hunger Strike was enough to say enough is enough. There has been pressure to say listen, she is in a terrible way mentally. So there has been some movement there. That was something that had been resisted by the revolutionary guard. I was surprised but i probably shouldnt have been that they have taken control and are blocking access. Quite what they are up to, i dont know, in all honesty. They properly got more alarmed as it became clearer. We have asked the embassy to try and visit as soon as possible. They have not been able to visit her yet but in hospital it might be easier. Just to try and find out what is going on. |j might be easier. Just to try and find out what is going on. I suppose it is possible, isnt it, anything is possible with that lot, but it must be possible this is a prelude to her release . I think its possible it is good news. It is possible it is good news. It is possible it is a prelude to her release or a prelude to her getting treatment and all my fears are unfounded and she is being treated and she will be there awhile and then back in prison and we will do without. It is possible Something Else is going on. The last time she met the revolutionary guard went on Hunger Strike, they were pressuring her to sign various to announcements and her to sign various to announcements a nd co nfess her to sign various to announcements and confess to various things. That is what i get worried about. As yesterday carried on, are they isolating her again to squeeze her . Richard ratcliffe talking to the bbc a little earlier this morning. More than 60 labour peers have taken out an advert in the Guardian Newspaper accusing Jeremy Corbyn of failing the test of leadership over his handling of allegations of anti semitism in the party. The advert opens with this is your legacy mr corbyn, and it says hes failed to accept responsibility for allowing anti semitism to grow in our party. Adding that hes failed to defend our partys anti racist values. It goes on to say that labour is no longer a safe place for all members and supporters. Lets go to westminster and talk to our assistant Political Editor norman smith. What is the reaction to this letter and what will it mean for the Party Dynamics . It has been another very brisk response from team Jeremy Corbyn, who dismissed the peers as hostile to his leadership. They have again defended the way mr corbyn has responded to these allegations, pointing to the fact there has been a fourfold increase at which the speed at which these claims are dealt with, only 0. 06 of Party Members have ever faced such allegations. But there is huge pressure on mr corbyn personally. He is personally blamed now for creating a culture in the labour party which has allowed this form of anti semitism to thrive and there are now mounting calls for mr corbyn personally to intervene and to press ahead with rule changes. It does appear now to be heading to something of a showdown in the wake of the panorama programme. We have had the peers this morning, we had a letter also from the pier is just the other day, demanding that they should be an inquiry into the panorama claims, suggesting they could help set up a new complaint system. Before that, we had tom watsons intervention, setting out a whole list of demands, including that the party should publish its admission to the equalities and human rights commission. We had a Tribune Group of left leaning mps also weighing in. We have had former party staff members. We have had a barrage of criticism of mr corbyn personally in response to these allegations, and it would seem difficult to me for mr corbyn just to hunker down and in effect say im dealing with it and dont need to do any more. Moving to the conservative camp, we have the final hustings, final leadership hustings tonight. What is the assessment of how these hustings so far have gone and can we expect to any big surprises tonight . I would doubt it. I think the honest truth is, we have had 16 hustings and various online digital hustings. We have had debates the newspaper audiences, radio audiences, television interviews. The two men must be heartily sick of each other. We know all their lines and alleged jokes. What i think has emerged as the most striking fact from these sort of hustings is that whoever wins, and it does look as if it will be borisjohnson, wins, and it does look as if it will be Boris Johnson, the wins, and it does look as if it will be borisjohnson, the next government is clearly going to take a much, much harder stance on brexit, one in which no deal becomes a much more plausible outcome. We know Boris Johnson a much more plausible outcome. We know borisjohnson has said the 31st of october is a hard to do or die deadline. He has ruled out any changes to the backstop and suggested that if we did have to pursue no deal, that well, the costs would be vanishingly small. So we have moved from a government which was deeply reticent about no deal to one which looks like its quite ready to press ahead with no deal. And it is wednesday, that means it is pmst and although next week we will know who the new conservative leader and Prime Minister will be, this is an actually theresa mays last pmst today . Its a curious one, her last pmst as party leader foster next tuesday, we will get the result of the leadership contest. But mrs may is still going to do the Prime Ministers questions the following day on wednesday, but she will do it as Prime Minister, not party leader. And in the aftermath of that pmqs there is an expectation she may make a statement in parliament and then she will return to downing street, presumably go to the palace, announced she is stepping down and then it will be either borisjohnson stepping down and then it will be either Boris Johnson orjeremy stepping down and then it will be either borisjohnson orjeremy hunt who will go to the palace, return to number ten and take over as Prime Minister. 0k, norman, thank you very much. Norman smith. Households have been gripped by a tighter income squeeze in recent years than during the 1990s recession, according to an audit of living standards. The Resolution Foundation a think tank focusing on people on lower incomes claims that growth in Household Incomes in the past two years was weaker than its been since records began 58 years ago. Those targeted include the countrys commander in chief. The measures mean neither the generals, nor their immediate families, can travel to the us. 0ur correspondent nick beake sent this update. Well, its nearly two years now since the rohingya were driven from myanmar in such great numbers. Many people, of course, believed that that was genocide. Thats certainly what some un inspectors believe. But this is the first time that the commander in chief here in myanmar, min aung hlaing, has been sanctioned in this way. He, along with his deputy and two other senior figures in the military, will no longer be able to travel to the United States, if, indeed, they want to. Some people today are seeing this as a symbolic gesture. Will it really have an impact . Certainly their family members, if they had sons and daughters or grandchildren who wanted to study in the United States, they wouldnt now be able to do this. Generally, though, human Rights Groups have welcomed this decision but theyd like the us and other countries to go further. They would like to see financial sanctions on key business interests of the burmese military, because, of course, the army still holds a great deal of power and has lots of money invested in key businesses here and they make a lot of money from those. Worth reminding ourselves that myanmar has always denied the charge of genocide and ethnic cleansing, but, interestingly, in the last few weeks, another top un official has said that she believes there are crimes being committed in Rakhine State to this day, which may amount to fresh war crimes. Interestingly, aung san suu kyis government is also criticised today for not doing more to try and bring to account those responsible for the crimes against the rohingya people. But its difficult to see whats happening in the here and now in Rakhine State because it remains, for the most part, shut off to journalists and shut off to the outside world. Perpetrators of Domestic Violence in Rural Communities often use isolation as a weapon, a report has found, leaving their victims struggling to get help and to report their abusers. New research by the National Rural Crime Network found evidence that abusers may even move victims to country settings to extend their control. It says some victims are isolated, unsupported and unprotected in what it calls a rural hell. Frankie mccamley reports. Making the idyllic move to the beautiful countryside to enjoy a quiet life. For some, though, this isolation is used as a way to control and abuse. Sarah, not her real name, was in a controlling relationship for years. Living in a Rural Community made her feel like she couldnt ask for help. I feel like a prisoner and living so far away in the middle of nowhere. Its dark on a night and its quiet, and you havent got people around you. She managed to access help, but finding it wasnt easy. I was scared to go to the gp because the gp, the receptionist, everyone in there knows you or knows someone to do with you, and ijust dont want my life out there. But that could change. So, this is the first time that anybody has looked at Domestic Abuse specifically through the lens of rurality. A Research Project has found victims of rural Domestic Abuse are half as likely to report it, and the abuse goes on significantly longer than urban areas. Weve had very clear examples of an entire community being roped into the abuse by the abuser, so when the police knocked on the door of potential witnesses, theyre always on the side of the abuser and not be abused. This research is just a starting point to find out how common this crime is in the countryside, but the bigger challenge is going to be changing some of those entrenched views that protect the perpetrator, rather than the victim. The research will be discussed in Parliament Later today, in the hope of protecting those victims hidden by isolation. Frankie mccamley, bbc news. With me now isjulia mulligan, chair of the National Rural Crime Network. It has been doing this research over the last two years. Very good to have you with us this morning. To what extent in your research have you found that perpetrators of this abuse are actually moving to the countryside to use that as a means of control, to extend their control . Yes, perpetrators are using reality asa yes, perpetrators are using reality as a weapon in their abuse, deliberately moving their families, their wives and children and partners into Rural Communities, in order to isolate them physically as well as socially. To what extent are those of rural settings, what is it about those rural settings leading to the sort of statistics that you have revealed, where only half as many people who are victims of abuse are able to report that abuse in a rural setting, compared to an urban one . Yes, really interestingly, when you delve into the data further and compare rural area with rural area, the more rural the area, the higher the more rural the area, the higher the potential harm and the longer the potential harm and the longer the abuse goes on. What is it about those settings, julia . Is it simply, i say simply, it is not a simple picture, but is it there resent the transport network we have in urban areas, where people might be get table on a bus or tube and go somewhere else, even if it is only ona somewhere else, even if it is only on a temporary basis . There are two aspects to this. If you are physically isolated, literally miles from anywhere, you cant, and your perpetrator has taken away your vehicle for example, you literally cannot go anywhere, so you are stuck. You cannot flee the abuse very easily in comparison to an urban area and cant get help. Typically, these abusers are taking away cars, typically, these abusers are taking away ca rs, access typically, these abusers are taking away cars, access to mobiles, computers . We have, i will give you a really good example. 0ne victim i spoke to, her abuser took away the telephones, switched off the electricity, switched off the water, he removed all the transport and made her sit in the dark in a lane miles away from anywhere. What is the answer, what are the solutions that you have thought about during this last couple of yea rs, about during this last couple of years, in terms of how you can change the balance for victims of abuse, to allow them to escape this . So, there are a number of things. People like me, police and crime commissioners, need to look at this report very carefully and make sure the services we commissioning our local areas adequately meet the needs of rural victims because of oui needs of rural victims because of our Police Forces need to understand the context of the abuse in the rural areas and we need to understand risk, that the risk is greater, potentially, for People Living in Rural Communities and that needs to be factored into assessments. We need the government to make sure that the new Domestic Abuse bill that is going through parliament at the moment is rural proof, that we think of rural victims. What you mean by that term, rural proof . A while ago a policy was produced which said all Government Departments need to think about the context of Rural Communities in the policy making force that we dont think the police do that locally or that the home 0ffice does that. This is the first time anybody has actually looked at Domestic Abuse, specifically through the lens of rurality. This is new information, no one has done it before and we need to look at it and understand the implications and take action. So rural Police Forces, gps, people in the community, because although clearly in many of these cases the victims are very isolated, there are still people around . So it is about making people aware of what to look out for . Yes, but it is more su btle to look out for . Yes, but it is more subtle than that. What we have also seen as perpetrators and listing the community and their abuse. So if somebody is placed in the local cricket team or a regular in the local pub, the community thinks that individual, that man is an all round good guy and then when the partner 01 good guy and then when the partner or the wife reports that abuse, sometimes the people willjust say, we dont believe it. So they enlist the community to support them in their abuse, unwittingly, and the community can turn a blind eye, even when they know whats going on. Because the social may be stronger, then people are willing to believe someone could be a perpetrator of this sort of abuse or to take the step of thinking, should i report this to someone . Exactly, and we have very traditional communities in rural areas. There are still quite a lot of men that are more dominant in those communities and there is a traditional structure to those communities. That is something that came out in the report as well. Julia, very interesting to talk to you. Thank you for coming along. Julia mulligan, chair of the National Rural Crime Network. The us house of representatives has passed a resolution condemning President Trump as racist for the comments he made about four non white, democratic congresswomen. Mr trump has denied the accusation, insisting that he doesnt have a racist bone in his body. The chamber is controlled by the democrats and a number of them spoke in favour of trying to impeach the president , but the Party Leadership is not supporting that, so far. One of those was al green of texas, who filed articles of impeachment against the president immediately after the vote. I rise to give notice of my intention to raise a question of the privileges of the house. The form of the resolution is as follows. Impeaching donald john trump, president of the United States, of high misdemeanours, resolved that donald john trump, president of the United States, is unfit to be president , unfit to represent the American Values of decency and morality, respectability and civility, honesty and propriety, reputability and integrity, is unfit to defend the ideals that have made america great, unfit to defend liberty and justice for all as extolled in the pledge of allegiance. A study says Domestic Abuse victims in the english countryside suffer for longer than those in urban areas and are less likely to report offences. The National Rural Crime Network found that victims were often isolated and unsupported, with fewer means of escape. Brothers ryan and luke hart experienced this their father killed their mother, claire, and sister, charlotte, after years of controlling behaviour in their family home in a small village. They spoke to bbc breakfast. We grew up with a controlling father, who was never violent towards us, so we never saw what he was doing as abuse. He moved us away from a town, in fact, to a rural village when i was about two years old and luke was three. And there he isolated us from friends and family, his financial control started to escalate. And over the course of our lives, our father really took away all of ourfreedoms, particularly our mothers. And when we managed to finally break down all the barriers put in place over those decades, almost three years ago to the day, we escaped from our father, we rented a small house for our mum and our sister, and we ran away, and we thought we would finally be safe. But it was only five days later that our father then killed our mum and our sister in a car park in spalding. Now, what you, ryan and luke, have done with an awful experience in life is you have spent a lot of time taking a look at the issues of coercive control and campaigned to make sure it is more widely recognised. You have written a book, remembered forever, raising awareness of this at the moment. But in light of this report talking about how difficult it is, by the National Rural Crime Network, how difficult it is in Rural Communities. Luke, can you perhaps talk to us about why it is so different, why it is so much more difficult to speak up about this in such communities. Yeah, sure. So, the first big move ourfatherdid, i mean, it wasnt even a village, it was a farmhouse. We didnt even have neighbours. It was in the middle of nowhere. And we were sold it as this idyllic dream. 0ur father said we would move to the country so we could grow our own food and live off the land. 0ur parents didnt work for a decade. So, immediately, ourfather had taken our mum out of work, he took her away from her friends and her family. One of the things that abusers do is they control your life, how you can travel, your finances, and all that kind of stuff, but they also control your perspective and they become the kind of narrative of the events of your life. When you are isolated away from people, that becomes incredibly easy. And when we were in the Rural Community as well, it is much more static than an urban community. People dont come and go as frequently. There is not so much churn, i suppose, of different people with different experiences. There is a very clear structure to rural life. I think that sort of stasis makes it really hard for you to break out of the abuse, to understand it in a different way. And local communities are very close as well, actually. And people dont want to assume the worst in each other. Whereas, i suppose, in more urban communities, it can be kind of impersonal and people are more willing to, you know, ask those questions about people. But in a local community, i think, sometimes, people are a lot more afraid to ask those questions about what might really be going on. Snow patrols ballad chasing cars has been crowned the most played song of the 21st century on uk radio. Originally released in 2006, it never reached number one in the uk, but remained on the charts for more than three years. The bands frontman, gary lightbody, has described it as the purest love song hes ever written. Lets remind ourselves why its so popular. If i lay here if ijust lay here would you lie with me and just forget the world . Forget what we are told forget what we are told before we get too old before we get too old show me a garden that is bursting into life lets waste time lets waste time chasing cars chasing cars around our heads. Gary lightbody was presented with a special award marking the achievement by the body which tracks all the music played on radio and television in the uk. He spoke to bbc breakfast. He said he was not surprisingly delighted. Yeah, amazing. Amazing. When i wrote it, in 2006, i mean, no possible way of knowing it would even endure this long, never mind be the most played song on the radio. When he wrote it at the time, was a pa rt when he wrote it at the time, was a part of a bunch of other songs on a mammoth session . Yes, i was in the studio with our producer, jack, and i wrote ten songs in a night, in a few hours. Five of the songs ended up few hours. Five of the songs ended up on the open that chasing cars is on. up on the open that chasing cars is on. On the album. That is the first and only time that has happened the hit rate is normally not that good, normally i would write ten songs and none of them are shown to anybody. That was a particularly good night. We quoted you are saying the purest love song you are saying the purest love song you had ever written, where you deeply in love at the time . I hope you dont mind me asking, do you still know the person and are you still know the person and are you still friends with the person you rotate about . Yes, i was, very much in love. Yes, i do still know the person and we are friends you wrote it about. Can you remember, was a case of, did they know you had written about them at the time as well . Yeah, they did. Most of the songs, i say chasing cars the purest love song, mainly because most of the songs i had written were about the songs i had written were about the end of relationships, normally when you are in a relationship, happy, you do not think, i will write a song. When you are in pain and misery of after a relationship has finished, that is when you tend to do has finished, that is when you tend todoa has finished, that is when you tend to do a lot of writing, probably more why there are bittersweet love songs. I tend to be fairly honest with the people i have written about. It is always me that comes off worse in the songs that i write about the bittersweet nature, i am never writing an angry love letter to someone. Congratulations to gary and snow patrol. At a time when more of us are choosing to reach for our devices and plug in separately, new Research Suggests the power of watching a film or tv series together. Nazanin Zaghari Ratcliffe has been transferred to a psychiatric ward in iran. Mps say the uk could cut 700,000 cars worth of Carbon Emissions, simply by adding more ethanol to petrol. The uk could cut Carbon Emissions, equivalent to taking 700,000 cars off the roads, by adding more ethanol to the petrol used in cars thats according to an all Party Parliamentary group of mps. At the moment, all petrol is blended with 5 ethanol, but increasing this to 10 could cut carbon, and boostjobs and farming. The labour mp nic dakin chairs the all party group on bioethanol and hejoins us now from our westminster studio. Very from our westminster studio. Good morning to yol for very good morning to you. Thank you for taking the time to talk to us. The mass adoption of all electric vehicles is some time away, so you would see this as a useful stepping stone to actually becoming more environmentally friendly, cutting the Carbon Emissions. Absolutely. It isa the Carbon Emissions. Absolutely. It is a no brainer, something that could be done today and make an Immediate Impact on Carbon Emissions, taking the equivalent of 700,000 cars off the road and also improving air quality. The government ought to get on with it, they completed a consultation on this in september and it still has not yet reported. Why isnt the uk doing this . Other countries are, germany, france, finland. Absolutely. We have a british bio ethanol Industry Worth £1 billion to the economy, we are likely to lose that if this introduction does not ta ke that if this introduction does not take place by 2020. Not only will it ta ke take place by 2020. Not only will it take cars off the road, it produces bi take cars off the road, it produces bi products of animal feed which means it is used for animals in the uk rather than bringing in soy based foods doc from south america, also reducing their carbon footprint. If this is not introduced now, we will lose this high skill high science industry from the uk and we will end up industry from the uk and we will end up importing bioethanol from outside the uk, again increasing our carbon footprint. It is a no brainer. The uk, again increasing our carbon footprint. It is a nobrainer. That would seem crazy, wouldnt it . If british producers are growing crops necessary to produce this biofuel, why move to a position where the uk would have to import it from abroad . Bringing it back to the question i asked you, why hasnt the government moved to ensure we go from 5 ethanol to 10 ethanol . moved to ensure we go from 5 ethanol to 10 ethanol . I really dont ethanol to 1096 ethanol . I really dont know. A question for the government. We have met a succession of transport ministers, one of the problems as transport ministers change on the basis of a few months and each time they say, yes, we need to do this, and each time, they find a reason to delay. They need to get on with it. With the concern rising about Greenhouse Gases and carbon footprint, we see it in extension rebellion and other movements across the uk rebellion and other movements across the uk extinction rebellion. I had the new government will make it one of its first priorities to make an immediate and positive effect to the environment and across the world and uk and back the farmers and bioethanol industry and set this on course for a positive win for the uk. Your committee is calling on the department for transport to hold an emergency summit on this before the summer recess, have you been given any indication that it is going to happen . No, we havent. To be fair to the current transport minister, he has said he is willing to meet with the committee, but we have had many meetings and these meetings. The time for meetings is over, it is the time for action. We need action on climate change, introducing this, as many other countries have done, would immediately take 700,000 cars off the road in terms of emissions, improve air quality, support farmers, support the high tech billion pound bioethanol industry in britain, it is a no brainer, they need to get on with it. Thank you for covering this today because it is something we need to put pressure on the government to do so that it moves this forward. Thank you for coming along to talk to us. The mp who chairs the all party by a the all party Pulmonary Group on bioethanol. The Resolution Foundation, shadow chancellorjohn mcdonnell is making a speech this morning about labours policy plans, he is expected to announce a Labour Government is elected would seek to end what is called in work poverty by the end of the partys first full term back in office. Let us hear a little of what he has got to say. Free universal childcare, of course, it is not free to deliver, but funded through general taxation and made available free at the point of need. Free at the point of use. To each according to their need. Ending poverty will not just each according to their need. Ending poverty will notjust be done in the workplace, we need to make sure the essentials of life never denied to people because of circumstance. So people because of circumstance. So people are not forced to choose between feeding themselves and their children or the unemployed teenager who does not give up a Job Interview because it costs £5 on bus fare each time they go one. It is the collective vision of shared wants and needs. Studio we will bring you more detail of what he has had to say later. But now, changing subjects entirely, watching the skies last night, you might have witnessed a partial Lunar Eclipse. The surface of the earths satellite appeared red or dark grey at around 10. 30pm last night. It happened on the 50th anniversary since the us Mission Apollo 11 took off to the moon. Hello, its wednesday, its10am, im Victoria Derbyshire. Good morning. Us lawmakers have voted to condemn President Donald Trump after he told four congresswomen, who are american citizens, to go back to their own country. These comments from the white house are disgraceful and disgusting and these comments are racist. How shameful to hear him continue to defend those offensive words, words that we have all heard him repeat, not only about our members but about constant others. Cou ntless countless others. Kids who are home schooled are being put at risk because government plans to monitor them dont go far enough. Thats according to councils in england and wales, who want the power to go into peoples homes to check whats going on
