People killed by an ira bomb in enniskillen 30 years after the atrocity. And the chef and restaurateur, Antonio Carluccio, has died at the age of 80. Its 5 oclock. Our main story. The International Development secretary priti patel has arrived back in heathrow this afternoon and is expected to be sacked by theresa may. She was summoned back to london from an official trip to uganda. Ms patel has been accused of failing to give full details of her contacts with the Israeli Government when she had the chance. Our Political Correspondent ben wright has the latest developments. Back to face the flak after cutting short trip to kenya and uganda priti patel flew into heathrow this afternoon political turbulence that seemed certain to end with her sacking. But ministerial car was there to meet and the ride into london gave her time to prepare for a meeting with the Prime Minister. So why has she landed in trouble, because of another high level meeting of the books and this time with the israeli ministerfor meeting of the books and this time with the israeli minister for Public Security in parliament in september. In august whilst on holiday in israel priti patel said shed taken the opportunity to meet a number of people, among the charity leaders, israeli politicians and even the Prime Minister. As secretary of state apparently disregarding strict ministerial procedure, Holding Meetings arranged outside the usual channels with no British Government officials present. When reports of her august meeting emerged last week priti patel initially claimed the Foreign Office did know in advance about her visit. On monday she apologised admitting i2 about her visit. On monday she apologised admitting 12 separate meetings and think the Foreign Office only became aware of her trip while it was under way. She was summoned to downing street and reminded of obligations under the ministerial code and after that reprimand theresa may considered the matter closed. But now she has been recalled to westminster and after a couple of further meetings with israeli representatives in september we re israeli representatives in september were disclosed. She is a member of the British Government and what she did secretly from the British Government is to discuss otherforeign British Government is to discuss other foreign powers government how best to get something from the British Government. As a collective which is what the British Government is she should have kept everyone informed and not conducted her own foreign policy. After priti patel returned from her august trip on loa n to returned from her august trip on loan to theresa may until yesterday, she proposed sending taxpayers money to the israeli army to treat wounded syrian refugees. The controversial suggestion in a part of the world fraught with political sensitivities. These are like a bear trap for politicians if you depart one iota from the agreed government position, theres a reason why government positions are resolved with collective discussion very carefully about what the implications are any departure from a government position. And she was getting herself into danger. An ambitious politician, and a passionate believer in brexit, priti patel has been an important presence in the government. A dick theresa may hoped a slap on the wrist would be enough to keep in the cabinet but now it appears to International Development secretary did not revealed the Prime Minister the full extent of her freelance diplomacy, so extent of her freelance diplomacy, so too is could be braced for her second cabinet departure in one week. Another blow for her fragile and faltering government. Our chief Political Correspondent vicki young is at downing street. Do we know where priti patel is . We do not, we saw her get into the ministerial car at the airport after landing, we do not know where she is now, i would landing, we do not know where she is now, iwould imagine landing, we do not know where she is now, i would imagine she may go back to her government department, the department for International Development but we know she is due to meet the Prime Minister face to face at some stage later on and probably early this evening. I think the issue of course is what has come to light since she had that last face to face meeting with the Prime Minister. It now seems there may have been other meetings, at least one in september with an israeli official which she did not come clean about. But there has been some toing and froing to with some reports on allegations in thejewish chronicle and they say they have this from independent sources, they said downing street told priti patel not to include one of the meeting in september on the list because it would embarrass the Foreign Office. Now downing street has completely denied that, i think the point here is that there are many in westminster who were surprised that priti patel was not sacked on the spot when initial allegations came to light. She was given a second chance. But now if there appears to be anything more she has not told the Prime Minister about that will bea the Prime Minister about that will be a big problem for her and that is why she was ordered home from her trip abroad. Stay with us, we will just hear a bit from home secretary amber rudd who has been speaking to journalists in washington. She was asked inevitably about all of this. Lets hear what she had to say. Do you think priti patel should resign . I will leave that to the Prime Minister. Do you think she should resign . Well as you heard amber rudd would not comment when asked whether priti patel should resign. All of this shows a certain weakness in the government, the fact that she has not gone so far and that theresa may frankly is having a pretty torrid time with a number of senior politicians around her . |j time with a number of senior politicians around her . I think that is the point, amber rudd is in washington, obviously on other government business and yet being asked about this as are many other politicians. It is of course a huge distraction. If theresa may were to end up sacking priti patel today that would be to cabinet ministers gonein that would be to cabinet ministers gone in one week over alleged wrongdoing. You have to go back a long way to tony blair in 1998 for the last time that happened. And he was ina the last time that happened. And he was in a much stronger position having just won a huge landslide as a general election. Theresa may does not have that luxury and im sure that shes digging that she has far more important things to get on with rather than dealing with cabinet ministers who have gone astray. Rather than dealing with cabinet ministers who have gone astraylj know you will keep us up to date but for now thank you very much. And at 5 30pml for now thank you very much. And at 5 30pm i will speak about the broader issues thrown up by all of this. That is coming up later. The head of the nhs in england, simon stevens, has warned that the budget for the Health Service next year is well short of whats needed. He told a conference in london that the public expects the government to honour promises made by the Vote Leave Campaign on Health Spending during the Eu Referendum such as an extra £350 million a week for the nhs. Our Health Correspondent Sophie Hutchinson reports. The nhs in england is under unprecedented strain. Faced with the tightest sustained financial settlement in its history, it is failing to keep up with patient demand. Today, its boss spoke bluntly about the impact on patients next year if significant extra funding was not made available. On the current funding outlook, the nhs waiting list will grow to five Million People by 2021. That is an extra Million People on the waiting list, one in ten of us waiting for an operation. The highest number ever. During the referendum, the leave campaign made controversial claims that breaking from the eu would mean an extra £350 million a week for the nhs. Mr stevens said today it was a crucial deciding factor for those who voted brexit, and must be respected. By the end of the next Financial Yearfor the nhs, march 2019, the United Kingdom will have left the european union. Trust in Democratic Politics will not be strengthened if anyone now tries to argue, you voted brexit for a better funded Health Service, but precisely because of brexit, you now cannot have one. At the same conference, the Health Secretary said there could be no commitment because of the uncertainty of the brexit outcome. It was not a government promise, it was a promise by the leave campaign. But what i very much agree with is that if there is a brexit dividend, if we end up having less pressure on public finances, because of the fact that we are not making net contributions to the eu, then i believe that the nhs should be the first port of call. The plea for a cash boost for hospitals, ambulance and Community Services was reinforced today by three major think tanks. They insist an extra £4 billion is essential for next year, if the nhs is to provide adequate care for patients. And if you want to find out what waiting times are like at your local Hospital Service go to the bbcs nhs tracker page on the website you just need to put in your postcode. He was given a lavish welcome at one of the countrys most important Historic Sites the forbidden city by president xijinping. A few hours earlier, in the south korean capital, mr trump once again underlined his priority for this trip, the crisis in north korea. We call on every nation, including china and russia, to fully implement Un Security Council resolutions. But china may not be willing to dance to mr trumps tune. In a leader who prides himself on his deal making, it sees the opportunity to drive a hard bargain. John sudworth, bbc news, beijing. Well we have been discussing the future of priti patel as International Development secretary and it looks increasingly uncertain, she has been summoned back from an official trip to africa by the Prime Minister. She landed at heathrow mid afternoon, not entirely clear where she is now but we do know she is due to have a face to face meeting with the Prime Minister at some point today. Whilst we wait for news to emerge from that meeting lets talk to the conservative mp James Diedrich who joins lets talk to the conservative mp James Diedrich whojoins me lets talk to the conservative mp James Diedrich who joins me for my Central London studios. He sits on the International Development select committee. Good evening. What do you think the Prime Minister should do when she meets priti patel . Well to be clear priti patel has made some m ista kes be clear priti patel has made some mistakes but has been a fabulous secretary of state for International Development. She has taken on some of the critics of International Development where money has not been spelt correctly. She has corrected the errors and provided good leadership. It is a shame if she is going to be sacked this evening, i very much hope that she gets a second reprimand. The meetings she had were not proper, simply that she did not declare them. That would have made a lot more sense if she had officials with. It is not unusualfor ministers had officials with. It is not unusual for ministers on holiday to also conduct government business, i did so when i was a minister in the Foreign Office. Priti patel made a fatal mistake in not sharing information with the Foreign Office and having there. Is that a sackable offence, i hope not. But when you had your meetings as you describe presumably you had full disclosure and everyone knew that they were happening. That is part of the ministerial rule . And it is best practice because you get briefed and asa practice because you get briefed and as a result of the meetings are Briefing Goes back in and the department can be cognisant of that change and understand what is going on. This did not happen, no one including myself is saying but that was right but what i am saying is it will be a great shame if priti patel goes. She has been a strong performer, i have seen her as a backbencher looking in, as an ex Foreign Office minister and now on the International Development committee and i have been very impressed. So i hope very much that she receives a strong reprimand but i would hope she stays in the department to provide the leadership and continuity. That is very important. But she has had their reprimand, she was given the chance earlier in the week and the problem for the Prime Minister is that two further meetings have emerged. If the Prime Minister is not told about to meetings and then subsequently finds out about them that would make theresa may look very weak surely if she did not challenge that . theresa may look very weak surely if she did not challenge that . If these meetings have been held without officials might be difficult to have a record as a minister. But she should have disclosed them earlier in the week. Often in house of commons a colleague in the lobby would say would you meet so and so to have a discussion. Those are not a lwa ys to have a discussion. Those are not always registered. And i think priti patel has done a very good job and she would be a loss to the department and the broader cabinet Asa Department and the broader cabinet as a proponent of brexit. But there are as a proponent of brexit. But there a re rules as a proponent of brexit. But there are rules that all ministers have to follow. She had a face to face meeting with the Prime Minister earlier in the week, a full opportunity then to lay her cards on the table and come clean about all the table and come clean about all the meetings she had had. Theresa may presumably thought she had that reassurance and gave the reprimand, she carried on in thejob and then subsequently the Prime Minister discovers that there were other meetings she did not reveal. How could theresa may let her stay under those circumstances . could theresa may let her stay under those circumstances . I would be flabbergasted if priti patel did not reveal those meetings will fully. They were a number of months ago and has the respect she just forgot about them or did not realise they had not been declared. I expect you just forgot. She has transformed the way that we contribute to developing communities and there is under her watch an increasing recognition that we are correct to give that money to developing nations. Thank you forjoining us tonight. This is bbc news at five the headlines. The welsh first minister, carwynjones, is facing questions about the sacking of the former minister, carl sargeant, following allegations from a number of women about mr sargea nts personal conduct. The 49 year old was found dead yesterday, days after he was dismissed from his post as cabinet secretary for communities and children. Our wales Political Correspondent James Williams is in cardiff we have heard a brief statement from ca rwyn we have heard a brief statement from carwyn jones just we have heard a brief statement from carwynjonesjust in we have heard a brief statement from carwynjones just in the last hour. What has been said . We received a lot of statement this afternoon. Starting with the family who have told us in a statement, i will read it, the family wish to disclose the fa ct it, the family wish to disclose the fact that carl sargent maintained his innocence and categorically denied any wrongdoing. The stress not been able to defend himself properly against these unspecified allegations meant that he was not accorded common courtesy, decency or natural justice. And to accorded common courtesy, decency or naturaljustice. And to back up their case they have released sent between carl sargent himself, his solicitor and the Uk Labour Party between friday of last week and this monday. According to this correspondence carl sargent had been accused of unwanted attention, inappropriate touching or grouping. So he did know the broad nature of the allegations made against him but not the exact detail and in the correspondence that is what carl sargents sinister is asking for. Under the labour party will book the accused does not get the exact details until they have received written statements from both parties. I received a statement from the labour party on that point and they say they have started the investigation after reading that receiving allegations from the first minister carwynjones receiving allegations from the first minister carwyn jones and in receiving allegations from the first minister carwynjones and in a statement they said the Labour Party Governance and representatives spoke with carl sargent and outlined the nature of the allegations that have been received and how the complaints process works. Saying that they were following procedure and in time carl sargent wouldve received exact details of the allegations. But even so this is an episode that has put a massive amount of pressure on the first minister carwynjones. I do not think he has been under as much pressure in the almost eight years that he has been first minister. A number of its political opponents for example you could party leader here in wales Neil Hamilton and others have called on him to resign. A senior welsh labour source has told us this evening there is a groundswell of opinion amongst the Party Faithful that carl sargent was treated poorly and that action must be taken. And we have also received a statement from carwyn jones, be taken. And we have also received a statement from carwynjones, his spokesperson, and they say this is a difficult time for everybody and especially the family of carl sargent were still coming to terms with the horrific news. Like eve ryo ne with the horrific news. Like everyone in the welsh labour family ca rwyn everyone in the welsh labour family carwyn jones is everyone in the welsh labour family carwynjones is deeply upset by the death of his friend. Tomorrow in the assembly there will be meeting to discuss the events of the week. And that meeting could have a bearing on the future of carwyn jones. Thank you. Our correspondentjon kay reports from the trial in bristol. Mark van dongen and Berlinah Wallace. He was an engineer from holland. She was a fashion student from south africa. They were together for five years, living in this bristol flat. Berlinah wallace wept as the case against her was outlined. She denies murder and throwing a corrosive fluid. The jury was told that she claimed she thought the liquid was a glass of water. The court heard that Mark Van Dongen was taken to Southmead Hospital in bristol where his injuries were described as horrific and catastrophic. He was said to be grotesquely scarred by the acid, paralysed from the neck down. He lost an eye and needed a leg amputated. The prosecution said that 15 months after the incident, Mark Van Dongen decided he could take it no longer. After being repatriated to be near his family in belgium he asked a euthanasia clinic there to help end his life. Three doctors assessed him and judged his physical and psychological suffering to be unbearable. He died on the 2nd of january this year. Hejust over him after an argument they had had. He just wanted to tell the police a bit more about that complicated and turbulent relationship. And some of the jury while there were watching that, they had seen it and be told some of it might be distressing for them to watch and hear. Berlinah wallace was winding in the court at the video interview as it was played, the court entered around 3 30pm this afternoon and there will be more evidence tomorrow. But unusually we had a little bit about her defence, the prosecution talked about the fa ct the prosecution talked about the fact that in their opinion the purchase of the acid online was a calculated attack. The defence both a she thought, Berlinah Wallace bought the water of the liquid in the grass by the side of the bed that she ultimately through over Mark Van Dongen was in fact water and it was in fact Mark Van Dongen who had swapped the liquid from what she thought was water to acid. Because she said she thought she was going to blackmail him over certain personal information. War that will come out later in the. But as we heard there Berlinah Wallace denies murder and the throwing of a corrosive substance. The trial continues and is set to continue for another four weeks. Thank you. It is the intention, as i understand it, to see it through. That may require the government to underwrite effectively this case if indeed ukad go on to lose it. Priti patels future as International Development secretary looks increasingly uncertain, after being summoned back from an official trip to africa by the Prime Minister. She landed at heathrow mid afternoon. Before i talk to two keen political analysts, here are some tweets from our Political Editor laura kuenssberg. Weve been waiting for that face to face meeting between theresa may and priti patel. Laura says that meetings not expected to happen for at least another hour. Well keep you up to date if there are further developments. Bronwen maddox, director of the institute for government and former Foreign Editor of the times. Thank you both forjoining me. Will she have to go . Not necessarily. Many would say, yes, shes committed so many formal breaches of the ministerial code which tell you about accountability, not mixing private and public things. But flag ra ntly private and public things. But flagrantly gone off freelancing, if you like, making her own policy, many would say automatically, yes. But it is in the Prime Ministers gift. Is this so much of a challenge to her authority must she go or does she not want to lose another minister. It would be the second cabinet minister gone in a week. As bronwen says, there are multiple grounds on which she could be dismissed. These rules exist for a reason. You cant have cabinet ministers conducting their own freelance foreign policy. Particularly damaging was she told the guardian last week the Foreign Office had known about it in advance and was later forced to admit they hadnt. Priti patel, not one of the most senior cabinet posts she holds and she is not a close ally of theresa may. For those reasons, i think she will go. She had one face to face meeting with theresa may earlier in the week. The Prime Minister thought, it is all out in the open now. Im not too happy. Have the list of meetings. Then, after a ll have the list of meetings. Then, after all that, she finds out there we re after all that, she finds out there were other meetings. This could be lethal for people clinging on. The partial release of information. That wasnt good. It wasnt good. If youre the Prime Minister in difficult circumstances. She was already angie and im sure this makes the Prime Minister even angrier and makes her look weaker. At the heart of it, it is not the most important cabinet positions, of course, but it is the Bigger Picture that the Prime Minister is weakened . This is a problem for theresa may and a symptom of her problems. It is like when a teacher loses control of the class. Priti patel thought she could meet senior israeli politicians, including the Prime Minister, while on holiday and get away with it without any of the normal rules of accountability applying. I think thats because of the lack of control at the centre of government. Some of the breaches are big. Taking a lobbyist along, someone representing an Interest Group along but not having British Government officials there at the same time. That is a long, long way away from how a minister should behave as well as the fact she was ona behave as well as the fact she was on a patch that wasnt really hers to make. Shes not in carriage cham of policy with the middle east. To make. Shes not in carriage cham of policy with the middle eastm that naivety . Lack of experience . What results in that happening . Id hazard a guess of opportunism. Taking advantage of the rather flee flowi ng taking advantage of the rather flee flowing state taking advantage of the rather flee flowi ng state of taking advantage of the rather flee flowing state of the cabinet at the moment. Is it too cynicalto suggest it is part of a much longer term game plan . People talk about her potentially as a leader many yea rs her potentially as a leader many years down the line. Does that play into it . I think thats almost too calculating. I put it down as opportunism. She could do something bigger, more adventurous than her own hejob. Very hard for anyone bigger, more adventurous than her own he job. Very hard for anyone to make long term plans at the moment. Shes incredibly ambitious. She used the phrase leadership and it was a patch to the pitch to the grass roots. One reason theresa may is still Prime Minister is because there isnt an alternative. Priti patel was a passionate brexiteer. That was clearly her pitch to be the brexiteer candidate in a future leadership candidate. This scantal has helped borisjohnson though, taken some of the heat off him that was developing. Thats a whole other topic to discuss if only there were time. Thank you both. See you again. Spains foreign minister has told the bbc that the government will now consider holding a nationwide referendum to change the spanish constitution, to allow for a legal referendum on catalan independence. Meanwhile, across catalonia, a general strike has closed roads and rail lines as demonstrations continue to call for the release from prison of catalan politicians. Gavin lee reports from barcelona. Catalonia brought to a standstill. Notjust catalonia brought to a standstill. Not just politically, catalonia brought to a standstill. Notjust politically, but the streets too. Every major road blocked today. Separatist protesters overmanoeuvring police. And outnumbering them in guerre own in a. This was the morning rush for the trains gerona. The message here is for spain to release the ministers now in in in prison who attempted to illegally return this region. In madrid, i met spains foreign minister who claimed it was fake news to claim there was violence against protesters. Now he appears to have softened his position. Im sorry if some of them we re position. Im sorry if some of them were injured injured. I dont think it was a disproportion eight use of force. Im not denying they were images we wouldnt like to see repeated. By all means, with all due respect, this was no bloody sunday. You think it might be a better system to have a referendum to change the constitution for the spanish people . Weve created a committee in parliament to explore the possibility of amending the contusions. I think we are ready. We acknowledge that there is a political situation that deserves to be looked at. But, in any case, it is clear that decision will be taken will have to be taken by all spaniards. This proposal from the Spanish Government appears to offer an olive branch to separatist supporters. It means 47 Million People across spain will decide whether to legally make it right for self determination. If so, it will be down to the entire spanish population if they want to see independence. I think catalonia have to decide the rev rep dumb, not spain. Spain dont have anything to say. If may be a good thing for catalonia. But, who knows. Inside the catalan ghost parliament, cleaning is the only official business going on here. Daily politics controlled by madrid until elections in december. Tomorrow, there will be more separatist officials facing charges of sedition and rebellion. It was only days ago from their seats here they were declaring independence. Now theyre considered enemies of the state. The chef and restauranter Antonio Carluccio has died at the age of 80. When he opened the first ca rluccio cafes, him. When he opened the first ca rlu ccio cafes, i him. When he opened the first carluccio cafes, i was very interested to see what he was actually going to do with this. They werent restaurants. They werent delis is, they were something in the middle. His ambition was to open a few or two or three successful ones. Then he didnt realise how big. Hes a great writer, great tv presenter. A fantastic traveller. All these tv programmes are watchable. I watched all of them. I dont even watch normally cookery programmes. But with him, it was a joy to watch. He was so intelligent at it. A rich life. Very kind of you to come and talk to you on a difficult day for you. My pleasure. India is an important member and charles is now the Senior Member and charles is now the Senior Member of the royal family tasked with promoting britains interests around the world. Science is dispelling the myth of sheep are only capable of woolly thinking. Researchers from Cambridge University have found they can be taught to recognise the faces of people theyve never met. In experiments, they picked out the faces of celebrities, including the actors Jake Gyllenhaal and emma watson and the former us president , barack obama. Researchers say it proves sheep possess similar facial recognition abilities to primates. Tom burridge reports. Two faces and cue sheep. Sheep pauses and then correctly picks the former us president. Scientists wanted to know if those with a genetic mutation that causes the disease still have a properly functioning brain. Sheep already have the brain power to do the decision making. I was surprised by the fact they could recognise people from two dimensional images. When we tilted the images and they still got it cricket, it strongly suggests they do recognise the face rather than just the picture. So sheep are as good as some primates at recognising faces . Good as some primates at recognising faces . It is not good news for this small flock who recognise him every day. A lot of time they associate food with the person. If you take the food away, after a while, they recognise you, they recognise if you wear a certain style of clothing every day. And the voice as well. So it turns out sheep are not as stupid as we all thought. So, my friends, which is 007 . Anybody . Any takers . No. What about, whos this lady . Did someone say mmmm . So, when you next get ta stare, remember, she might remember yourface. Tom burridge, bbc news, with some mildly intelligent sheep. Joining me now from stepney city farm is tom goody with his jacob sheep, trixie and tallulah and marjoram. Thank you so much for talking to us. Perhaps you can introduce us to who youve got with you there . Yes, weve trixie, talulah and marjoram. They are jakob sheep. Theyve lived here on stepney city farm in east london for their lives. Do you think they recognise you and other people who work there . Do you think this is all accurate . Yeah, i do think sheep do recognise faces. Probably more mine than others as im the one that feeds them. Being in london on a public site, i assume they see a lot more people than some other sheep would such as in the mountains of scotland. But there is definitely some recognition there. I dont know whether it is just my face or the clothes you wear, the red uniform you have on or if its just the bucket but there is some recognition there. Yes. The fact you have food, perhaps helps. Do you think there are other animals that you work with there that are perhaps even better at this . Definitely the pigs. The pigs are 100 , they will recognise you, pigs are 100 , they will recognise you , even pigs are 100 , they will recognise you, even your voice. You can call out and theyll come running over. Of the sheep give you a bit of a dozy look when you call their names across the field. Youd have them in the camp of moderately intelligent compared to some other animals . Yeah. Im sure there is intelligence there. Maybe not as high as some other animals. There is definitely recognition there. You can tell. You call their name and theres a look up call their name and theres a look up and whos this again. Ive been wondering all day whether we should be surprised by all of this. I have a border collie. She definitely recognises me. She recognises the next door neighbour. I dont think it should surprise us animals can do this . Yeah. I mean, an im the one that feeds them. They are the one that feeds them. They are the one thatis that feeds them. They are the one that is will come to me to get food. Theres no bad sign of me. Im sure they feel, hopefully feel they feel comforted by seeing me. A leader of the flock. Im sure they do. Im sure they do. What times feeding time . Its been and gone. Theyre settled now for the night. All right. Tom, lovely to talk to you. Thank you very much indeed. Jacob sheep. I never knew there was a breed called that. Tom goodie at stepney city farm in east london. Sir andy murray and his wife kim are celebrating the birth of a baby girl. Its understood she was born a few days ago. Some places had sunshine, other places had rather a lot of cloud. Where we have the clouds during this evening and tonight, it will bring some outbreaks of patchy rain he southwards and eastwards. Clear skies towards the east. Chilly here. Some spots could get down to minus 1 celsius inland. It will turn chilly here in scotland as skies clear. That is the story for tomorrow. A cloudy and damp start over england and wales. Something brighter already into Northern Ireland and scotla nd already into Northern Ireland and scotland through the morning. Sunshine developing further south as well. Heavy, blustery showers in northern scotland. Temperatures typically just a little northern scotland. Temperatures typicallyjust a little up on where they have been today. But, it will start to turn colder during friday, a north westerly wind. Some sunny spells, heavy showers in aberdeen. Rain into the west later in the day. For the weekend, bright but cold with some showers close to the coasts. Tonight at six, the International Aid secretarys career hangs in the balance. Shes minutes away from a showdown with theresa may. Priti patel was ordered to fly back to london in the middle of an official trip. Shes due in downing street any minute now. Priti patel is accused of not telling mrs may about highly sensitive meetings with top israeli politicians. Labour says she must go. She needs to go, first and foremost, but after that we need to have a full investigation to find out what happened at these meetings, who was at the meetings and, more importantly, has any damage being done . A government battling on many fronts, a westminster sex scandal, criticism of the foreign secretary, and now this. Well be asking what this says about theresa mays authority. Also tonight, a new warning on nhs waiting lists in england. Therell be an extra million if theres no extra cash
