BAXTER â A 25-2 first quarter was enough for the Baxter girls' basketball team against Don Bosco on Tuesday night.
The Bolts only outscored the Dons by six the rest of the way, but the damage had been done in a 52-23 home win during Iowa Star Conference cross-division action.
Elie Tuhn scored 17 points, dished out four assists and swiped six steals to lead the Bolts, who are 6-1 and have won six straight games.
McKenzie Eslinger finished with seven points and seven rebounds, Maddie Pierce tallied six points, two rebounds and four steals and Sophie Meyer and Brooke Bacon each had seven points and two steals.
