A member of the lacrosse community needs help amid a tragic week and an ongoing battle with cancer.
Colin Clive, a 2013 Siena grad, was a fantastic attackman — a force in the MAAC from 2011 to 2014. He’s been battling brain cancer for two years. But in the past week, his parents, Barbara and Dave Clive, both passed away within days of each other.
Dave Clive had stayed employed at age 70 to keep his family eligible for health coverage. With Colin now undergoing an experimental treatment, any contribution helps his medical expenses.
Here’s more:
“Tragically Barbara and Dave Clive passed away in the past week within days of one another. As their only child with no other immediate family, Colin is now struggling to overcome the loss of his loving, devoted parents. Additionally Colin has been battling brain cancer for the past two years. Most recently, he has started an experimental treatment that is successfully fighting the metastatic cancer. At 70 years of age Dave stayed employed to keep his family eligible for health coverage. Any monies that can be donated to ease the burden on Colin for his long term care and medical expenses would be greatly appreciated. Any unused funds will be donated to The National Brain Tumor Society in the Clive Family name. Please prayerfully consider donating to Colin’s cause, no amount is too small or too large. Please feel free to share this message with anybody you feel would be interested in donating, God bless.”
