Batgirl movie could bring back JK Simmons as Commissioner Gordon

Dark Knight trilogy while we'll soon see him played by Jeffrey Wright in Matt Reeves'
In this movie however, Commissioner Gordon will not only play the role he does in every Batman movie, but he will also be the titular hero's father, as the version of Batgirl the film is going for is that of Barbara Gordon, rather than previous comic book versions with Cassandra Cain or Stephanie Brown.
So they are pretty big shoes to fill.
Batgirl is being written by
Bumblebee's Christina Hodson, who took over writing duties from Joss Whedon, while
Ms Marvel's Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are set to direct.
