BASINGSTOKE will be getting a new vaccination centre, the area's Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has confirmed.
Jameson House in Chineham will be joining Hampshire Court Hotel, Basingstoke Fire station, and other sites to help deliver the coronavirus vaccine to more residents.
However, when the Gazette asked if it would be replacing the hotel centre - which recently celebrated delivering its 100,00th dose - when hotels can reopen on May 17, the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Partnership of CCGs said the site would remain as a vaccination hub for the 'foreseeable future'.
Dr Tim Cooper, GP and vaccination lead for North Hampshire said: “As the vaccine roll out progresses, it is important that we maintain the ability to increase vaccination delivery to our local population.
