Basingstoke residents to be vaccinated from tomorrow

Hampshire Court Hotel has been chosen as the location to overcome logistical challenges
BASINGSTOKE residents will start to get vaccinated against Covid-19 on Wednesday, it has been revealed.
Hampshire Court Hotel has been selected as the place for administering vaccinations in Basingstoke, while GP practices across the county are getting ready for the programme this week.
Crown Heights Medical Centre will be taking delivery of the vaccine today (Tuesday).
Hampshire Court Hotel has been chosen as the location to overcome logistical challenges and avoid disturbing other consultations. The hotel is currently closed for overnight stays until February 28.
People are directed not to contact their surgeries about the vaccination, as the service is available strictly by invitation only. The NHS will contact people in the priority groups when it is their turn to receive the vaccine.
