The Prime Minister of Barbados Mia Mottley
Barbados has about four options on the table, "fours irons in the fire", as it pertains to sourcing more vaccines to allow the country to reach herd immunity, but none of them have landed to date.
In the mix, in shortest order should be AstraZeneca, with Johnson & Johnson added, and once Sinopharm and Sputnik V are approved they can also be part of Barbados' arsenal, "but we probably will have more than enough AstraZeneca to deal with ourselves."
Prime Minister Amor Mottley has given her citizens this assurance.
Despite a new shipment of vaccines on the way to the island of Barbados in the near future, prime minister Mottley said yet again that she does not want to speak over the next batch of vaccines until it comes ashore.
