Baramati: 5 booked as NCP (SP) alleges cash distribution by Ajit Pawar-led party in Baramati Lok Sabha seat

The Pune police registered a non-cognizable offence against five individuals following allegations from the Sharad Pawar-led NCP (SP) that some members of the Ajit Pawar-led NCP were distributing cash to voters in Bhor town ahead of the Baramati Lok Sabha seat polling. Both parties lodged complaints with the Election Commission (EC), with Ajit Pawar denying the accusations. NCP (SP) candidate Supriya Sule and Ajit Pawar-led NCP's Sunetra Pawar are contesting the Baramati Lok Sabha seat.
